Playing with old wounds

[Jacques]

The quarters were pretty empty this time of day, he found it enjoyable actually. But a bit boring. His gloves laid on the floor infront of him, legs spread as he setled mroe into his corner. finger of the right hand tracing the scar on the left. It was a strange color and he got a werid tingly feeling each time he brushed his finger over it. It was kind of fun, and enjoyable in a way. It crawled down his spine each time.

Strange how easily he remembered cutting the skin and that made his stomach churn. It hadn't hurt exactly but it was a feelign off falling with no bottom. It was really werid actually. How his mind poloted imedadtley how to repeat that feling. No. He had a friend and htis palce wasn't as bad as that one so he shouldn't, couldn't, allow himself to think that way. He tlited his head ot the wall and sighed. Long damned day.

[Kyo]

Kyo slowly walked in, but he looked a bit...off. He swayed slightly, and his eyes wernt in focus. Some of the few slaves that were in there stayed away from him. One or two looked away in pity. Kyo looked around slugishly until he saw Jacques. He walked over, almost drunkenly and slowly sat down, but he didn't bend over.
"......yo...Jac." his voice was almost giddy sounding and he smiled at his friend.

[Jacques]

Jac jumped at his name, having not really been paying much attention to the outside world aroudn him. However one look at his friend made him forget the gash. He shifted imedately to face him.

"what the {censored} happened to you?" he knew Kyo was pretty happy go luck most the time but this was different. happy go lucky didn't mean people toosed werid looks, which was seen when he glanced around, nor did it mean your eyes were out of focus.

[Kyo]

Kyo swayed slightly before answering.
"I got my [Censored] ass whooped...and I met this nice girl, and there was lots of pain...stealing medications is kinda hard...cuz like....you never know which one...ya no....to take..."
Kyo was about to keep talking but he zoned out and changed the subject slightly.
"That girl....she was kinda nice....oh yeah...and the kid...I wonder where he got to..."

[Jacques]

Jac had maybe understood about ten words that formed a coherent sentence. He grumbled under his breath and his body relaxed a bit. Gloves left forgotten in the moment in the corner.

"So basically you took either to much or the wrogn type of medication. What am I going to do with you Bud." he mused lightly and sighed. Only thing he could do was keep Kyo awake and wait for them to wear off. He ran his left hand through his hair not realizingi t showed the scar but Kyo might not register it in his state.

"So....this girl. Tell me more about her will you?" he asked curiously he found KYo's love life in despriate need of someone and was willign to give a drop kick to get him a girl. Or whatever.

[Kyo]

Kyo shook his head a bit to try and regain his focus, but it wasn't easy. He was a little dizzy, and swayed a bit before the room stopped spinning.
"She...was...really nice....and....helped fix my back....which hurts like a [Censored], and did I mention she was nice? And That I think I was recruited by...someone for.....like...something?"
Kyo had obviously ODed, he started to look at a pile of hay and started to giggle.
"hehhehhehheh....hay...."

[Jacques]

Jac wanted smack Kyo fo the giggling about hay. but like a good friend he didn't. though it could double back on him. He'd never seen this before really, but he'd heard enough about it.
"did you get a name? and if you signed a stupid piece of paper giving yourself to some guild I'll hurt you." he said but his tone was all tease of a friend. he liked the fact of havign a friend to much to do anythign to them.

[Cheyne]

Sadly enough but she couldn't resist listening to the two..Giggles left her lips at Kyo's actions..He had definatly done something..Since he giggled at Hay..She hadn't made any true friends,Just acuantances(sp) with Jake and some guy they called 'kid'..IN her own corner she sat against the wall..Blue eyes fell onto the male Kyo called 'Jag'..She didn't speak as well in her past she was beaten for speaking when she wasn't spoken too.So instead she remained silent..Well except for the giggles

[Kyo]

"Pa..per? I didn't have paper? What are we....talking about?" Kyo scratched his head, but quickly put a stop to that when the pain in his ribs out did the happy from the meds. "Ouchy not-y gonna do that..." He still didn't know which meds he took, but his hearing was a bit more acute for some strange reason, and he heard giggling nearby. Turning his head to the side, he spotted the source. He smiled, if sloppily and pushed himself around.
"Hey there...I..havent seen you....before. Have I met you? Though...I'm pretty sure....like....I would....remember someone as good looking as you."
Yes, Kyo was going to be spaced for a while it seems.

[Jacques]

Jac's brow twitched slightly perhaps the fact he was so easily 'gotten to' by Kyo signaled they were friends. He flopped on his back and tilted his head backwards so he could shee her, hair spilling to the floor. she was new? MAybe. He liked her giggle though. Though he wasn't sure he wanted to know what was funny. He found the source to a bit...odd. He glanced to Kyo and burst into a fit a laughter, voice carring light nad heavenly through the quarters making some turn and lok for the source. for someone who once claimed he wasn't good at flirting he was doign a hella of a job. Once he recovered he coked on a chuckle.

"you outta OD more Kyo. Your a better fliter when you are." he teased before looking to the girl.
"Excuse my...spacey friend if he offends you. He's not exactly in the right mind currently. Though I find him to be more of a ladysman then he claims." he said with a genuine smile, a rarity for him, for unlike most of them this reached his eyes and made them seemignly glow. Normally all his facial expressions failed to do this giving him the look of a missused china doll. Which is how he felt most of the time. He streched on the floor before rolling to his stomach and proping his chin in his left palm. elbow balanced o nthe ground.
"What's your name?"

[Cheyne]

A line of red crossed her cheeks at Kyo's remarks "Umm.." she once more giggled..He was funny in a cute sota way..Blue bangs fell into her face..No one had ever complimented her on her looks..With a warm smile she spoke to Kyo "We have meet..In the Corridors.." she had offered him water on the very hot day..

Suddnely the other Male caught her attention..Nodding to his words she sighed softly and replied "I am Cheyne" being new she felt it would be good to make as many friends as possible..

[Kyo]

Kyo scratched his head, trying to recall the memory, but unfortunetly the meds were affecting him metal abilities.
"I'm really sorry...I don't remember...I wish I did...I might when I....get to be...all normal and stuff....Its like...my back...right? Its hurts a lot...and so does...my side...." Kyo was hit with a wave of nausea and doubled over. He almost let loose right there, but managed to contain himself. He didn't look so hot anymore.
"Oh man...I'm never...taking those....things again...."
He looked back at Cheyene one more time, and squinted his eyes a bit this time. "Wait a minute...I do remember you!" He smiled, as his eyes started to droop. "Yeah, you were really nice...that day sucked [CensoredCensoredthereisalothere]...yeah. But you were...the highlight of the day....yeah..."

[Cheyne]

As soon as he fell onto his knee's she moved to his side..Shaking her head she spoke softly "May i see your wounds?" she asked..There was a chance she would be able to help him feel alittle better..As he contiued to speak she smiled "Thanks..It is in my nature to be kind to all.." Blue eyes looked up at Jac..Flashing him a warm smile she sighed softly..AS her blue eyes gently roamed over Kyo..His injuries didn't seem all that bad..BUt she had yet to see the true injuries that lay hidden beneath his garments..

Jac sat up at roughly the same time his friend doubled over. Great. He was going to lose it. If not now later.I agree with that statement. If it makes ya feel worse don't bother." he muttered the older saying under his breath. He caught the kind smile and for the first time in a long time he gave en embaressed on back. warm smiles were a rarity for him to come by.

[Kyo]

Kyo looked up groggily into Cheyne's eyes, or tried. He waved his hand around as he spoke.
"Oh go right ahead. I mean...you guys arnt like those big scary men...so go ahead and take off what ever yall need....I like my jacket, isnt it cool?...My big brother gave it to me....before he was executed....yeah....he was cool....they chopped off his head ya know..." While Kyo was talking, he managed to take off his jacket, and offered it to Jacques. Why? No reason. He had on a new shirt, same color as before, but his back had a few horizontal lines of blood near the middle and lower back.
"He was a lot cooler than my dad..."
