White mitts hit the ground swiftly as she ran..Jake's words still echoing through her mind telling her how to get out, Well she was but now where was she? Exhaustian finally made her stop, blue eyes looked around, she whimpered softly "Where am I?" plume tucked between her legs she padded forward..Her white coat was tinted Brown from the sand and dirt that had stuck to her sweat..Exhaling softly she aproached a dead tree..Looking around she smiled..Using her back legs for balance she used her forepaws to dig a little crevice for her to nestle and sleep in..It took her awhile but once it was finished a smile rested on her maw..Climbing in her little crevice she curled into a ball..Now that she was away from Evatarium Palace what was she to do now? Resting her head on her tail she laid and thought of what she could do now....

Day wandered around. He was bored. There wasn't anything to do. He sighed his light brown fur dusted with sand. His ice blue eyes scanned the horizon. He came up to the oasis not to far from the woman. He bent his head to the water and drank deeply.

Once white now a sandy Brown Auds perked up to the sound of another near..Lifting her head she looked around till her blue eyes rested on the man..Pushing herself up she climbed out of her little hole and padded over to him "Umm Hello..?" she said quietly but warmly..Her maw held friendly smile as she spoke to him..

He lifted his head up still in wolven form. He looked curiously at her before turning into Human form. "Hi. May I help you?"

Auds flattned against her crania..Exhaling softly she too Changed to her human form..Rather then real clothes she wore rags, That she had sown together into a dress..A thin line of red danced on her cheeks..He was cute and well she was a slave sitting there in Rags..Exhaling once more she placed her right index finger in the warm beads of sand and twirled it "Umm I.." her voice trailed of as she searched for the right words to use "I am..Er i was a slave..I just..escaped" the last part was whisperd as she was unaware of who was around.."A man named Jake Helped me.." maybe he knew this Jake..Her blue eyes lingered on the sand below her..She was ashamed and Emberessed of herself..She was actually relaxed under his gaze..She didnt shift with discomfort..But fear lingered in her heart, What if a quard found her? What would come of her? shaking slightly she pushed the thought to the back of her mind "I am Cheyne" great now he knew her name..He could blab of her ugliness to the world..Exhaling alittle harder she finally looked up so her gaze rested on his face....Silence crept through making the moment more then awkward...................

Day smiled. "Dont worry, Cheyne. I'll take you back to the base with me. And Jake's a nice fellow. One of us."He held out his hand. "My names Day by the way."

She nodded her head and well daintingly took his hand..Red still lingered on the base of her cheeks but she hide it slightly well with her Blue bangs "The base? What is a Base?" this Freedom thing was new to her..All she had ever done was be a slave..Standing she stared up at him Curiously awaiting for him to speak to her once mroe..Maybe this base was a Food camp, No not Food..Shaking her head she tried to remember if Jake had said anything but yet again she didnt find the answer.."One of Us?" ah yet again she was lost..What did he mean by 'One of Us?'

"Its a place where the rebles are. Its safe and the royals dont know where they are."

She still had yet to fully grasp the whole Rebel thing but only nodded her head..Gingerly she took a step forward as she replayed his words in her mind 'No royals' she thought..A soft smile crossed her lips as she walked..Excitment began to build inside of her..She was finally safe..No more getting beaten!! Placing her free hand on her chest she grinned now..Oh God she was Free? No chains holding her back..She could now do anything she wanted..Softly she looked up at Day and smiled "Are your Friends as Kind as you?" She felt like she was being annoying but Hey she had never heard anything about well Anything..

He smiled. "I suppose so. Just dont get on Ajax's bad side."he continued to lead her to one of the closer bases.

Siling softly she nodded her head "Ajax..Right" all this news was getting so confusing but with time she would get it..Following along beside him she exhaled softly as they walked..She was too meet new people but in these rags she called clothes..shaking her head she looked forward as something in the distance began to form "Oh is that it?" she asked as she pointed a finger to the very small object..
