Fleeing the Palace

[Nai]

Nai.. just coudln't take it anymore.. She had her arms wrapped around her torso as she stepped into the safe house.. she hoped someone eles was here.. well, one of the rebles at least.. perhaps one of the fellow thieves.. she dind't know.. all she knew is... that she did not want to be alone right now..

[Kyu]

Kyu was in the safe house, actually looking for Ajax. He had heard rumors of a rebel being captured and was wondering who it was. But, as he waited, the sound of footsteps entered his ears. They were moving quickly and the scent of Nai reached Kyu's nose. He was, afterall, in his folf form. He quickly reverted to human and moved towards the door as Nai entered. He worriedly looked at her and spoke.

"Nai, what's wrong? You look....upset. Did something happen at the palace? Did someone....hurt you?"

At those words, anger seemd to flood Kyu. He couldn't stand the thought of anyone hurting his friend. That was one thing he would not stand for. But, he quickly calmed and looked to Nai for a reply.

[Nai]

Nai blinked a few times and nodded faintly.. "i'll survive.." She mutered faintly.. Being one of the rebles, she had beent rained, to hide her feelings, her intents.. but now.. now, she couldn't.. Silent tears filled here eyes aking them misted, and then she fell to her knees head down, hair hiding her face as she cried silently.. she couldn't.. She wouldn't go back! no matter how much her information she gathered was needed she wasn't.. she would never.. never go back to that palace...
