how do you earn & lose them?
earning+1 for every member in that house
+2 for every higher being (prefect, head boy/girl) in that housee
+2 for however many people are in each class (example-- three slytherins, two gryffindors, four hufflepuffs, and two ravenclaws are in potions; that is six points for slytherin, four for gryffindor, eight for hufflepuff, and four for ravenclaw. points are added after a class is closed with the total amount of twelve in each class)
+1 for every member of the quidditch team
+1 for every graphic made for another member that is being used (the person who made it gets the house points, not the requester)
+3 for every 'hot topic' thread started by your character (say that stacey the gryffindor started a topic in the forest; it got to a 'hot topic,' so gryffindor gets three points.
losing-2 for every detention earned
