\| O O C \| Group: Preternatural Posts: 10 Member No.: 42 Joined: 15-November 07	Elhonnia's Marsh Once called Black Marsh, due to its adjacency to the Black Forest, Elhonnia's Marsh was renamed after many Earth Elementals claimed to have encounters with their Goddess there. It serves as one of their most holy of places, aside from the Mana Tree, and has an ethereal beauty about its landscape. Separating the southern Black Forest from the northern Everlasting Grove, Elhonnia's Marsh is quite literally a massive, shallow pond, miles wide from every muddy bank. With waters that would only come up to one's mid-calf, the color of crystal blue skies, and nearly covered with lily pads it is no wonder why Earth and Water Elementals alike come here to pray. Made from sediment from the marsh itself, is a sculpted figure of Elhonnia which resides in the center of the marsh. Flowers flourish from her 'hair' and trails of moss creep around her elegant, naked 'body'. The warmer air from the south and the cooler air from the north mix here, causing random, light showers for the area. It is a glorious place, full of life and beauty, and it is possibly one of the only places a person can be safe from the creatures that hunt the forest grounds. The Black Forest The Black Forest is so dutifully named for one reason: the foliage here, in this forest south of Elhonnia's Marsh, is so dense that in some places the sunlight is blocked out completely. At night, the forest is practically impassable unless you know -exactly- where you are going. Traveling at night however, is only recommended if there is no other option. With an area so abundant in resources - food, water, and habitat, some of the most dangerous creatures live here, and like most predators, their peak hour of activity is after the sun has set. Of course, to think only things with teeth and claws can kill is equally foolish.There is only one Earth Tribe living in the hostile region and they are the Cayuga Clan. Caroo Banzai is a noted healer and herbalist from this clan. More will come. =)
