The town of Jeykala; a busy town bustling with merchants and travellers. Being right on the trade route connecting Pieta and Gomahl it reaps the benefits of tired caravans wanting to spend the night or sell a few things. It started as a normal day, but today people had worried eyes. For the last few days there had been murders. The victims’ guts were eaten. This could only lead to one conclusion and one solution. Today was the day the solution would arrive. At noon a giant of man entered the town from the eastern gate. The citizens had seen half yoma warriors before, yet they had never seen a warrior and sword of this size before. They couldn’t help being intimidated by his presence. It didn’t take him long to spot the creature disguised as a beggar. He drew his mighty sword... ( Posted Image) A little girl was skipping around town. Yesterday she had some problems with the local guard. They kept asking her ‘Where are your parents? Where do you live?’ It got really boring at some point. She dealt with the problem smoothly, though she didn’t quite remember how. At least no one was asking questions at the moment, so she continued to tour the town as she wished. People were friendly this morning. However the expression of people changed slowly as she got closer to the eastern gate. They looked scared... The girl turned a corner to see what scaring people was. Just as she peeked from the corner, blood splashed on her face along with several citizens near her. She saw a Claymore that had sliced a yoma in half. The warrior had killed the creature with one blow, messing the street with its blood. He then saw a little girl with her face covered in the yoma’s blood. The crowd noticed the warrior's gaze focused on the little girl. People backed away, leaving the kid in the open. They didn't seem to know who she was...
( Posted Image)
Arie
Noticing the stranger covered in Yoma blood, Arie spoke. "Ack, mister, are okay? Are you hurt? You're all bloody!" Arie took a clumsy step forwards, and her ears started ringing, and she started to become dizzy. Again. That man is dangerous!"
"Ouch!' Arie let out a short cry of pain as she slipped on a puddle of yoma blood and hit her head on the ground. In her inattention, she had stepped wrong and fell. At least she wasn't dizzy anymore.

“Dear me, are you alright little miss?” ~Siegfried
Forgetting about the slain yoma for the moment, Siegfried quickly made his way over to the fallen girl. He tried to help her up by lifting he off the ground and setting her on her feet.
“Are you alright there?” ~Siegfried
Siegfried looked for any injuries on the girl. Reaching for his cape, he absentmindedly began to wipe off the blood from the little girl’s face. He was attempting to clean her up a bit. Making sure to also stand in her line of sight so that she will not be witness to the ‘corpse’ of the slain yoma behind him.

The citizens and guards of Jelkala formed a large circle around the girl and the Claymore. At first they feared the half yoma would do something horrible to the little urchin. Perhaps the demon in him finally yearned for fresh meat? The guards approached steadily with their spears pointed towards the large man. They knew they wouldn’t stand a chance against an opponent like him, but if only they could get the girl out of harms way... Their lives were worth sacrificing when it was to protect the innocent.
Thankfully, no such thing was needed...
“Dear me, are you alright little miss? Are you alright there?”
The warrior helped the girl up as the whole crowd released their breath in relieve. The guards dropped their stances and give them some space. They wanted to help, but the Claymore was still intimidating despite his gentle behaviour. Once the false alarm was over people began to wonder who the girl was. Whispers were all around the warrior and the little girl. The girl was a bit distracted by the half yoma, but Siegfried was well aware of the talks.
“Do you know who that girl is?”
“Oh she might be Julie’s daughter.”
“I’m right here and she ain’t my child. Jeez... And we’re neighbours for how many years?”
“I don’t recognize her either.”
“Hey, does anyone know the parents of this girl?”
“No.”
“Sorry.”
“There is no orphanage in Jelkala; she must be a street urchin.”
“How the hell did she get pass the guards into city?”
“Hey its not us guards fault to be merciful towards children.”
“Either way, what is to be done?”

“Excuse me little miss. Can you tell me where your parents or guardians are? Did you travel with your parents or guardian to this village and accidentally got separated?” ~Siegfried
Siegfried decided to take in the information the villagers were telling him. If they were not knowledgeable of the child’s existence, than perhaps it may be that her family was traveling and she somehow got separated from them. It is not implausible that she was merely wandering around and had happened to come upon his gruesome ‘work’. Best if he distracts the child with questions of other matters, than the one behind him.
“It is not safe for young children to wander about alone outside. Perhaps your parents or guardians are looking for you right now. How about I escort you back to your parents?” ~Siegfried
He wasn’t sure what to do with the little girl exactly, so he settled for escorting her back to her parents/guardians. They may be in the village right now searching for her, which if he estimated the size of this town correctly shouldn’t take too long. Maybe he can deliver her back to her parents/guardians, than get back to burying that body behind him before the day was done. Settling on a vague plan of action, Siegfried stood up and reached out a hand to the little girl.
“Come, let us go find your parents now.” ~Siegfried
Siegfried offered a kind smile towards the girl to try to convince her he wasn’t so bad. If she accepted he will turn to the villagers and ask them a few questions. He will try to focus the questions on the guards, but he was open to answers from the citizens as well.
Perk = Etiquette, Storyteller
“Excuse me, do you happen to know to whom this child belongs too? Or if there are any travelers who may have come through here recently? It would help the child and I greatly if you could help provide any information you know.” ~Siegfried
He tried to be as convincing as he can. Siegfried added a smile to try to defuse any tensions the people may still have with ‘him’ there.

Perk = Etiquette, Storyteller
If the little girl did not believe him, he will attempt at trying to convince her with a few words if he can.
“Do not worry little miss, I mean you no harm. Oh excuse me…no wonder you are a little apprehensive. Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Siegfried Von Schtauffen, and what is little miss’s name?” ~Siegfried
Smiling as kindly as he could muster without ‘creeping’ the child. Lord only knew how many times he scared people away because they thought he was a homicidal lunatic.
Arie
Arie sniffled. Her head hurt, but not in the usual way. "I don't remember..." She hesitated a little bit, but ended up clinging to Siegfried's leg. The townspeople were being noisy and mean, and she preferred the nice gentleman to the angry crowd that had gathered around her. Arie scampered behind Siegfried, in an attempt to hide herself from the crowd. The yoma behind him crunched under Arie's feet, but she paid no heed to it.
"I'm Arie..."

“Why it is a pleasure to meet you, Miss Arie. Well than, would you be so kind as to lead me to your parents or guardian?” ~Siegfried
Siegfried smiled down at Arie as he gently patted her head.
“You do not have to he afraid miss Arie. They mean you no harm, they are just confused and wish to know how you are walking around on your own. It is not safe fro children to wander about alone after all. Come along, let us get you back to where you belong.” ~Siegfried
He gently prodded the girl in a general direction away from the scene of the slain yoma and large crowd of people. Siegfried offered his hand and a smile to reassure the girl and to help bring her out of her general ‘fear’ of those from the crowd. He tried to be reassuring and friendly.
“So where shall we begin miss Arie?” ~Siegfried
Siegfried looked about to see where they should start their little ‘investigation’ regarding Arie.

Arie
Arie tugged at Siegfried's hand and started to lead him down the path, away from the crowd. "Umm, I think it's somewhere down here.." said Arie, pointing straight down the road that they were standing on. Racing down the road, Arie found that it made a sharp fork. "Umm...." Arie stood with her finger to her mouth for a while.
"Here!" Arie took a sudden right swerve and found herself in the market part of town. She began looking around frantically and found what she was looking for - a display of stuffed animals in the window of a toy shop. Like a magnet, she pressed herself against the glass, staring at the toys.

Siegfried followed behind her like a giant sentinel. He kept his smile up and even did a light jog to keep up with the little girl. She was proving to be quite the little energy ball. Her movements were fast, and her excitement was showing Siegfried that she still possessed that innocence of a child.
“Where to than miss Arie?” ~Siegfried
When they arrived at the fork in the road, Siegfried looked about for anyone looking for a lost child. He started by trying to look for any frantic looking people. If just as a start to the search that he guessed should not take too long? Before he could consider anything else, Arie shot off towards the market place.
‘A toy store…’
He calmly walked up behind her and watched the stuffed animals on display. Confusion overtook him, but than he found a way to rationalize it all out. It was still kind of early and there are a lot of people. Perhaps she was told to wait here in case they got separated? There was no harm in taking a look inside, he supposed…
“…Would you like to go inside miss Arie?” ~Siegfried
Children will be children. Not to mention he’s never been in one of these stores before so he was very curious about what was inside.

Arie
Arie had warmed up to the stranger at this point. He seemed rather nice, and he was willing to go into a toy shop with her. It wasn't as if she couldn't go herself, but whenever she did, someone would always question her. And after that, something would happen and it'd all be better and she'd get all the toys to herself, but there was always some kind of feeling that something was missing after that something happened. It confused Arie, but also scared her a little bit. Maybe things wouldn't go missing if Siegfried was there with her. He was so big, too, so if he went missing, Arie would be sure of it anyway.
"Why, y-yes," said Arie, hiding a thrilling and absurd little blush with her hands. Her eyes glowed radiantly at the suggestion, awed at how perceptive this Siegfried seemed to be. A moment later, she became a whirling ball of energy again, and grasped onto Siegfried's index finger. It was a perfect fit for her small hands. She began tugging at Siegfried's finger with enormous strength.

Siegfried followed the girl into the store. He also took note of her bubbling enthusiasm and energy at his suggestion to enter the store. Being ‘pulled’ into the store, Siegfried noted her energy, excitement, and apparent strength. She really wanted to come inside the store he guessed.
“My, my…there sure are quite a selection on display…” ~Siegfried
He followed behind the girl as he browsed the selection of stuffed animals they had available. To say he was fascinated would be a great big understatement. Despite his apparent calm at looking from toy to toy, and keeping an eye on Arie as she did her own brand of ‘browsing’ the toys. He was as giddy as she was except on the inside.
‘Is that a Duck…it is a duck and it has a little cape! A Teddy bear…dressed up as…the picture on the apron is of a loaf of bread, he’s a baker! A bird…no…a woodpecker…with a ‘top hat’ and a ‘monocle’! This place is Awesome!’
The inner child of Siegfried, surprisingly still alive and well, was running about inside his head going over each individual stuffed animal as well as their ‘accessories’. Bringing each toy to such levels of exaggeration, you’d think he really is as old as any other children who would easily fall for such a large collection of toys.
“…Amazing…” ~Siegfried
He whispered this as he looked at the shelves lined with stuffed bears in different colors and clothes/accessory, all where in such a combination that it was like staring into a wondrously demented rainbow. All being represented by bears with small black beady eyes, and sewn on the stomach are little patches of ‘hearts’.
‘…is that a…Moose…in a suit of armor?’

ArieArie danced around the shop with the awed delight that only a child could exhibit. Jumping up and down, from here to there, she let out thrilling little shrieks at each toy that caught her eye. Finally, she spotted one that was just so cute that she had no choice but to pick it up.
( Posted Image)
"It's a bear!" she sang. Holding it to the sky, she pirouetted in a circle. "It's a bear!"

“…So it is…” ~Siegfried
Siegfried stared at the toy bear as Arie danced around him holding it up. He wasn’t sure what he was suppose to do at this point. She was clearly indicating something to him that may either mean, ‘I want it’ or ‘Look at it!’. He settled on doing the second option for the time being.
‘…’
He tried to be enthusiastic as he watched the girl spin happily with her prize in hand, which Siegfried was trying to decipher if it was a toy or a dead animal thing she found in the store. It made her happy, so he brushed off it’s grotesque appearance and smiled sharing her joy at finding such a thing.
Was she implying he should get it for her? He was beginning to feel like that was what she was implying, but he couldn’t tell for sure. There was only one way to find out, right? How to phrase it so he wouldn’t be obvious…
“Would you like that Teddy Bear?” ~Siegfried
Apparently that wasn’t it, but it left his mouth so…damage was done, time to see what her answer will be…

Arie
Arie looked at the bear. "Well... It's not as cute as it could be, but..." Arie patted the ear of the bear, and a cloud of dust came out of it. "It must have been here ever so long for it to be so dusty. Everyone goes for the cute ones, so these poor things stay here without a home for so long..." Arie made puppy eyes at Siegfried. "I think Mr. Stitches needs a home. He must be so lonely here." She waved the bear up and down at Siegfried. "Please?"
--------- OOC: I think Arie's turning into EG's Anne of Green Gables. Y'know. If Anne of Green Gables occasionally turned into a giant monster and ate people.

He looked on with sympathy at the bear. Than he looked at Arie as she explained his condition and why the bear was left here all alone. Though Siegfried had not mentioned anything regarding how it looked or why it would matter to him why she chose him, he still thought it was sweet that Arie was so intuitive to the pain of others. Even though it was the strangest looking Teddy Bear he has ever laid his eyes upon.
“That is quite true, Mr. Stitches looks as though he has been here for a long time.” ~Siegfried
Siegfried smiled down at Arie.
‘Mr. Stitches has been here for a long time, and it looks like he may have eaten his friends as well…while he waited…’
He didn’t voice his thoughts and made sure to keep it hidden deep within his mind. After considering for a moment or two, he couldn’t help but agree to the whims of the child. That and he didn’t want to make the child or Mr. Stitches unhappy, both looked so happy…at least Arie looked happy, Mr. Stitches just look demented.
“…Well I do not know…” ~Siegfried
Siegfried paused as he placed himself into a thinking position. He pretended to be pondering over this matter quite seriously. To those that knew him, understood that he was pondering this quite seriously. He was simple that way.
“Alright. I will get Mr. Stitches for you, but…promise me that you will be on your best behavior while I bring you back to where you belong, Ok? ~Siegfried
He looked down at Arie with a semi-serious look that was quickly falling apart as he smiled a little at her.

“Yes, he does look much happier than before. Come along now.” ~Siegfried
Siegfried smiled down at Arie. Her joy was spreading like the plague. Chuckling a bit, Siegfried went to the counter to purchase the toy. After handing the proper amount to the clerk, Siegfried tried to usher Arie outside. If she goes herself, he will just follow her. As they reached outside he took a deep breath and wondered where to go to from there.
“So…What shall we do now? Shall we continue our search for your parents now?” ~Siegfried
Taking a look at the noon sun, Siegfried guessed it was high noon. He guessed he should eat something, it was his only chance and it was over a week since he last ate anything at all. He decided it wouldn’t hurt to take a short snack break and he guessed it wouldn’t be a bad idea to get Arie something to eat, she may not have eaten anything since morning. Can’t hurt to ask.
“It should be around noon now…are you hungry Miss Arie? Would you like to go get something to eat before we continue our search?” ~Siegfried

Arie
Arie clutched Mr. Stitches to her chest and surveyed her stomach. It was quite odd; she didn't recall eating for the past, well, forever, and she wasn't really that hungry, either. She supposed it was just one of those things that was hard to remember. She kind of did have a vague craving for something that she couldn't quite put her finger on, but it wasn't that big at the moment.
Arie shook her head. "Nope, I'm not that hungry." She hesitated. Siegfried himself was probably hungry, so it would probably be polite to take up his offer. "Well, maybe just a little bit, but I'm not sure what I want to eat." She smiled. "What would you like to eat?"
