[6/9] Myself and Bleeding were discussing plots, and decided, that within the next week or so, when i am able to, I will add a new race to our list. We are adding Hunters, supernatural Hunters or Vampire Hunters. We decided that our supernatural community was a little to safe other than from themselves and demons, so now more drama shall arise if people decide to rp one. Should be interesting.

[5/8] Its been a little over due, due to the season changing and all. But We have finally got a new layout! The season has skipped Spring and we have jumped into Summer. I know that the layout is fairly bright, but the next one will go back to black and wont hurt our eyes to much XD haha. Anyway, We need more vampires and werewolves, well, actually we need more of just about everything so whatever. Bleeding has added more music to the Ipod, and its no longer on Autoplay so you have to personally click it to listen to the music, better if you want silence ^^
I wanted to add, that there is another creature i would like to introduce to EBD a creature called an Asmodai, much like the Dosferatu, these creatures will NOT be easy to Role-play. You MUST talk to me personally if you would like to know what an Asmodai is.

~General Rules~


—Embraced By Darkness is a MATURE semi-literate to literate, role play site. Embraced by Darkness is for those who are at least thirteen years and over! We prefer 14 and over. Do NOT join if you cannot take severe drug usage, harsh language, violence, and sexual content, such as actions and as well as language. We are not responsible for your stupidity and we will not change the rules of our site. You’ve been warned so we will not be responsible if you open a post and get an eye full. Trust me we will know if you have read this or not if something of that occurs.

--We require a separate account for EACH character you role play. The reason for this is because it is easier to know what character a person is currently role-playing at the time, and it has served us well and seems to help the admins be more organized. If you cannot do this, then there are no acceptations. So for example, if you have two characters, Bob and Josh. You will create TWO separate accounts. The accounts MUST be the FIRST name of your character.

--Theft. We do NOT tolerate THIEVES. If you are caught stealing personal quotes, graphics, character information, anything off of this site, or even a whole character to use elsewhere, you will be in for more trouble than you would wish to have. We take great care in creating things and it pisses us off when someone steals something you’ve worked so hard on. So, no STEALING of any kind!!!

--We require at least 300 words per post. Nothing shorter. Though I would love it to be at least 400 to 500 words per post, we understand if it can be less. Muse itself is hard to get let alone keep at times. So if you can, 400 or over, but if you cannot, then no less that 300. Some of us have a habit of creating long posts because we enjoy it, so please, do not complain if you have to read a long post, that’s just stupid.

--Everyone who joins are expected to be active at least three times a week or more, if you cannot get on at least that much, then please warn us. We understand that wil school and daily happenings sometimes even this cannot happen, just tell us and everything will be alright.

--Avatars, tables and Signatures are allowed. Avatars are to be no larger than 200 by 300 pixels. Signatures and Tables should NOT stretch the board, it looks gross. And please! NO animated images, only still images.

--Please do not argue with the admin’s or mods when they ask you to change something. We are only trying to improve things and nothing more. If we ask you to change something with your character Bio, then that’s what we expect. So please, there is no need for over reacting, and or getting angry.

In Character rules.

1.) No Godmoding, or Power Playing. Though very mild versions of each can occur. If in a fight, you cannot dodge every hit, though one now and again is fine.
Moving another's character aside, slightly, is fine, pushing, a little, is fine, but nothing over the top. Just be fair about it all and you’ll be alright, if you have something major in mind then get permission of the owner of a character your role-playing with first.

2.) Also if you choose to post sexual acts graphically, please warn people so they don't get blinded.

3.) Cursing is allowed, and we really don't care how much you do it, just, not every other word unless your character is actually speaking it.

4.) Also, forced sex, breeding, or mating, are allowed as long as both parties agree then we don’t give a damn considering a lot of the more malicious demons get a little carried away.

5.) One more thing. Humans do now know about the inhuman races, and the inhuman races do their best to keep their abilities and gifts hidden, humans are unaware that they even exist. So no telling a human your secret unless they wont flip out and try to kill you, or tell the whole world. Though who would believe a human rambling about vampires and demons and werewolves I don’t know, hahaha.


Out Of Character Rules



1. NO COPYING! of any sort. This includes taking anything from anybody else's past, anything about their characters, or even the whole idea for this Site. If we find out about you doing anything of the sort it could result in temporary suspension. If more then once, being completely banned. This may sound harsh, but we know how frustrating it is when somebody copies you as it does take a lot of time to come up with character information.

2. For those who wish to have a child or what not will have to post a breeding application. Once the breeding application is filled out the admin will take a look and accept it or deny it. Once it is accepted then the child or children MUST be adopted out. A parent can, if they so wish apply for the children or child, but that’s how it’ll go.

3. No Fighting! This is for Out of Character posts only. Hell we don't care if you fight in character because hey, it’s your characters. We really don't need fighting it always ends bad and puts others in a bad mood, and makes the whole Role-play experience sucky.

4. Also. For every character you make you will have to create a separate account... yes i know, somewhat hard to keep track of. Just make sure you log in and out for different characters. For some of us who rp multiple characters together, yes you still have to log in and out. So if one person is playing two characters with one of someone else's the person who is playing one character will have to wait for two separate posts from the person who is playing two. Yeah frustrating, get used to it. For those who have more than one character, please watch what account you are on before you post. If one of another persons characters is playing a tiny part then adding it on to one account is fine, but if it’s a larger part then please switch accounts.

5. Embraced by Darkness is a Third Person Role-Play!!

6. Last but not least. Just have fun. Once you get into it, it all gets interesting. This is all a game, don't take it too seriously or to lightly, just have fun with it and enjoy your time here.
