[6/9] Myself and Bleeding were discussing plots, and decided, that within the next week or so, when i am able to, I will add a new race to our list. We are adding Hunters, supernatural Hunters or Vampire Hunters. We decided that our supernatural community was a little to safe other than from themselves and demons, so now more drama shall arise if people decide to rp one. Should be interesting.

[5/8] Its been a little over due, due to the season changing and all. But We have finally got a new layout! The season has skipped Spring and we have jumped into Summer. I know that the layout is fairly bright, but the next one will go back to black and wont hurt our eyes to much XD haha. Anyway, We need more vampires and werewolves, well, actually we need more of just about everything so whatever. Bleeding has added more music to the Ipod, and its no longer on Autoplay so you have to personally click it to listen to the music, better if you want silence ^^
I wanted to add, that there is another creature i would like to introduce to EBD a creature called an Asmodai, much like the Dosferatu, these creatures will NOT be easy to Role-play. You MUST talk to me personally if you would like to know what an Asmodai is.

Demon Forms

Come in many different shapes, sizes and forms. The most common ‘natural’ forms tend to be ghastly beasts, some on all fours, others similar to humans in stance, but not much else. Other sometimes are a more human looking form, with its differences, as in eyes, tattoo like markings, teeth, or even horns and spines. Every demon as a “true” form, and can be human like, or a beast. The true form was the form in which the demon was born with, this form is also at all times used within Hell (Nysroc)
An important fact is that every demon can possess two or more forms. The higher up one is in the demonic ranking system, the more forms and powers one will acquire. If one only has two, then they would be somewhere low in the ranking and a demon that usually isn’t strong enough to leave Nysroc.
Their first form would be their True form, the one they were born with and usually take, at all times, in Nysroc. Their second form is usually their Beast form, unless of course their true form is actually a beast, in this case, they will occasionally take a more human like appearance as their Second form, but not always. For those with little power, and therefore few forms, their second form may be another type of beast, or an animal, one that they can resort to if they need a stronger boost in battle. (also, these demons usually never leave Hell for little power comes with its prices). A third form is used for those who have a True form, and a Beast form, plus, they MUST be higher in the demonic ranking system and have more power than a lower class demon. The third for is that of a human, yes a human. This form is used AT ALL TIMES (unless given permission by ones ruler) within the human world. Their human form is exactly that, human looking, to the T. There may be, however, some oddities, but no major ones that would let those who are aware of demons know that this being is no human.
Many demons don’t possess more than three forms, but those who have a fourth or even a fifth usually have that of animals from the human world, and very rarely one will have another demonic beast form, yet we stress RARELY.

Temperament as a Race

As a race, demons tend to be more temperamental than all the others combined. There is little reason for this besides their desire for the worlds demise. Yet be aware, not all demons are exactly bad, and not all are evil, some where merely born in the wrong world. Even so, every demon MUST follow the orders of his or her ruler, however, there are times when some do not, severe consequences will result if an order is not followed through. Though temperamental and harsh in punishments and battle, some can control their rages while others cannot, in any case, when a demons looses its temper it would be wise to just shut up, or run. (also their element will usually make their tempers better –calmer- or a lot worse, to figure it all out read the elements page)
Malicious, cruel, temperamental, and wicked. Those four words would easily sum up a demon, yet not all tend to lean more towards the evil murderous sides of their nature. Some demons favor humans, witches or other different races, and some do not, in any case, demons are proficient when it comes to tricking humans and some inhuman races. Tricking usually results in ones death, yet not always. Some may simply delight in the fact that they are good at what they are capable of. Next to tricking humans and non-humans, torture, rape and murder would be next. Demons are not shy in what they want unless they are waiting for the last moment to shove it all in your face, which they tend to do, making one fell stupid, pathetic and foolish before they eventually kill them off. (Though we allow bloodshed and gore, there is a small rule of demons not being allowed to kill to many humans and Others unless given permission by their ruler.)

Abilities & Position Compliance

A demons abilities usually ranges around the kingdom in which they have been places in. For example, if a demon is under the rule of Aeneid, then their ruler is Satan, the Fire lord. If this is true, then they will most like have something along the lines of Fire, but not always. There are times that even a demon of earthen powers can be placed within this kingdom, yet to be placed in such a kingdom with powers that fall helpless under the main element is not common, but can happen if the demon is unwelcome in the other kingdoms, is of a high rank, and does the current king or queen well in their position.
Depending on the rank given or gained, allows you the amount of how many elements or powers your character will possess. When you join you will be automatically placed under either Lower Class Demon, or Upper class demon. The lower class is for those demons who cannot travel out of Hell. (if you would like this, then say so somewhere in your application) Upper class demons are those who can travel outside of Hell, so three forms will need to be provided. Both ranks will have equal powers. Two Elements, and one power. If you are given a higher rank upon approval then check how many elements or powers that rank gives, and add to your profile. Below is a list of how many powers and elements are allowed upon each rank.

Kingdom Ruler - Four powers & Three Elements
Second in Command - Three powers & Three Elements
Third in Command - Two powers & Three Elements
Guardian - Two Elements & Two Powers
Enforcer -Two Elements & Two Powers
Arch-Demon - Two Elements & Two power
Upper Class Demon - One Element & One Power
Lower Class Demon - One Element & One Power

An important fact to know is that no every demon will actually have all that is allowed, and that is alright, and though some ranks have the same number of powers and elements, it does not mean they are equal. Though Arch-demons are third to last, does not mean they are a weak rank, it merely states that they are powerful but do not hold a real duty to their ruler. (also with the Admin’ permission one may have an extra element or power, but there has to be a reason for it)

Summoning Names, Common Names & Summoning.

Despite the fact that it isn’t wise, a demon can in fact be summoned with the right methods and powers by either other demons, witches, and sometimes, though very rarely, humans.

First off is the Summoning Name. A summoning name is a name in which has two functions. The first is for another demon, Witch, or Human to summon them. This summoning name is NOT the name in which they use continuously, the summoning name is a name in which very few know. The second function of a summoning name is to show dominance, and power over the demon in question, usually a higher ranking demon will use the summoning name against them to show that they are weaker, and near powerless against them. Usually only a Ruler will use this when one of his minions have displeased or disobeyed him or her. Using this name is sometimes punishment in itself, but may follow with a harsher one. A king or Queen (Devils) may have a name that is actually known by few lesser demons, but using this name against your king or one higher than you will result in severe punishment or torture, and maybe even death, so, watch your tongue.
The summoning name is a name that is similar to the name in which they have taken for others to use. So for example: A common name for the true Devil, would be Satan, and Satan’s summoning name would be Sammael (using this against the general ruler of the five kingdoms has proven to be a very bad idea). The Summoning name for Lucifer (which is not another name for Satan) would be Lucifel while Lucifer is his common name. A demons Summoning doesn’t change but, over time, their common name might or might not, their choice. Some demons have also used their summoning name freely through the centuries for humans and or witches to eventually obtain. Usually there is a reason behind this, and it is never a very good one, if you’re a witch. To give out this name of ones own free will, to witches or humans, usually would mean not to use it, for this demon has its own plans for the one who summoned him or her. Though a witch or human may want information for themselves or others, it doesn’t come without a price, and a demon usually only exchanges information for other information, giving any information to a demon isn’t at all wise, for they can, even if it means nothing to you, somehow use it against you, and in the worse ways possible. Also, even if they have allowed their summoning name to be know, which can most likely be found in ancient books, one must not forget how pissed the demon will be, this will be further explained below.
Now, to actually summon a demon a witch, or human MUST know the summoning name. Second, though it isn’t required, but wouldn’t be wise to forget, is to set up a protective circle. (A protection circle will be explained under Witches) Without a protection circle, the demon is free to roam where you have summoned it, and will most likely kill you without a second thought. Summoning a demon is painful and insulting, as well as disorienting. So even if a demon has allowed its summoning name to spread through its lifetime, it will still be angry by the mere feeling, and pain that the summoning has cost it. So without a Protective Circle, your most likely dead within moments. Something that would be wise to remember is that some demons are actually strong enough to breath the protection circle, so setting more than one would also be wise, give you time to send the demon back before he or she breaks fully out of your circles and looses control. (Usually the five Devils –Rulers- will know how to do this, so summoning them would be a huge mistake.) (this will be further Explained under Witches)
