Leader positions OPEN, One female Two Male (rulers of Nysroc)
[6/9] Myself and Bleeding were discussing plots, and decided, that within the next week or so, when i am able to, I will add a new race to our list. We are adding Hunters, supernatural Hunters or Vampire Hunters. We decided that our supernatural community was a little to safe other than from themselves and demons, so now more drama shall arise if people decide to rp one. Should be interesting.
[5/8] Its been a little over due, due to the season changing and all. But We have finally got a new layout! The season has skipped Spring and we have jumped into Summer. I know that the layout is fairly bright, but the next one will go back to black and wont hurt our eyes to much XD haha. Anyway, We need more vampires and werewolves, well, actually we need more of just about everything so whatever. Bleeding has added more music to the Ipod, and its no longer on Autoplay so you have to personally click it to listen to the music, better if you want silence ^^
I wanted to add, that there is another creature i would like to introduce to EBD a creature called an Asmodai, much like the Dosferatu, these creatures will NOT be easy to Role-play. You MUST talk to me personally if you would like to know what an Asmodai is.

It was beginning to get old, and the large house seemed to be growing smaller by the minute. Her brother wouldn't leave her alone, and though she loved him dearly and understood his paranoia, she, the sweet quiet little doll, was beginning to grow restless, like a cat in a cage, something that never happened. Much like her brother, her father almost wouldn't let her out of his sight. It was only thanks to her mother that he even slightly backed off, making sure she stayed inside, but he was like a soldier, he was making beyond sure that nothing was getting past him.
It was Kens turn on night shift, patrolling the mansion grounds so the others could get some sleep. Her dad needed it, though she doubted he would even sleep very much. Landon slept like a rock once he finally got to sleep, so there was no worry there. She, however, couldn't get to sleep if her life depended on it. She couldn't sleep, because she couldn't stand another minute locked up in this damn house.
She'd waited three hours after the house had settled down, till everyone in the house was either locked in their room sleeping or minding their own business, no one would think twice about her sneaking out, it wasn't like her, not even Landon, her fraternal twin brother would begin to guess as to what she was up to. It always amused her when she was able to surprise them.
She wasn't planning on staying out late, mostly because her father got up before dawn and relieved Ken of his duty. Then again, he was a paranoid man, and getting up so early had become a habit. She had at least six hours before she absolutely had to get back. Ken wouldn't think twice about her escape either, making this moment perfect for getting out.
She was a small petite woman, only five foot two, skinny and barely over 98 pounds. Her long pale blond hair was left hanging, but pulled back at the sides so it would stay out of her face. The clips looked old fashioned, and were heavy for their size. She wore a black dress, one that, like the hair clips, looked old fashioned and yet somehow held a modern touch with the shorter front. (the dress is the one she is wearing in her table)
There was never a day when Nakomis, the most innocent one in her family besides baby Kisa, wore anything but a dress. Honestly she had never in her life worn pants or shorts, since she was a little girl her parents has dressed her in dresses, and even now she had grasped that and never let it go.
Her bedroom lights were off, creating the illusion that she to was sleeping, or at least trying to. She stood at the window, peering down at the ground below. She was on the third level, and though she was hardly stronger than a human, she could easily get down from this height without so much as a scratch. Glancing back at her door, her lips pursed, she grabbed her purse and shoved the window open and climbed out onto the ledge.
She and her brother had spend countless hours on the roof of their old home, so she was used to the slanting roof tops and could easily make her was across it to where it would be easier to get down. It took her less than ten minutes to reach the ground, and when she did she smiled and took off running to the distant garage. She had gone into town with three of her four brothers earlier that day, and though they had space, they had to many cars between them all to fit so much metal behind those nosey doors. It was because of that, that her car was parked outside the garage rather than inside of it. That little tidbit had sparked her plan to flee for a time, just to get air and be alone, without an entourage of siblings or angry parents and uncles.
Her car was a newer model, which meant it was very nearly silent, like a kittens purr. Grinning she jumped into the car and started it up. waiting to turn on the lights till she was far down the dirt road. She nearly held her breath all through the road ways as she headed to the city, and didn't let it out till the first large buildings passed, and then she started laughing. Now she just needed a cup of coffee and she desperately wanted to check out the little shops downtown, or what few would be open so late at night.
She got out when she pulled into the parking lot of a Starbucks, planning to get that much needed coffee she was craving. How she missed all that whipped cream.

Sleek and slender frame sat, back board straight, simply staring down into the steaming cup of coffee. Tainted gem stones looked longingly into the dark abyss wanting nothing more then to add a little touch if the Irish into the molting mix. A low sigh near growl like rumbled deep within her chest as she thought about the little bottle that was tucked deeply into her pocket. It was a fairly simple enough plan; find the girl, learn her habits, become her friend, get the shard, free her soul.
"Simple my...." She paused, the curse thick on her tongue though she held it well for those around her. She was never really one for caring what others thought, the proof was in her chose of cloths for that evening, but she felt oddly human this evening. She hadn't taken the poison that her dear Luci had offered yet but the thought of having her freedom back was now causing the beast to relax and ponder what she just might have gotten her weaker half into.
With another sigh she lifted the hot mug to her lips and drank deep that warmth though she truly did not like it with out that tang that would cause a fuzzy feeling when enough of it was drank. Long belled jeans flared about the darkly combated legs, the chained and belted boots laced all the way to her slender knee as they hid beneath the dark jean. T-shirt, ebony in color boasted of some random act in bright reds and whites 'I kissed a Vampire, and liked it' the words were clear and a mock of both a song and a newly aired movie that she both hated wholeheartedly. Nails a long and ebony in pitch tapped slowly to an unheard song as the uncontrollable chocolate fanned across the slender shoulders to vale the lovely pale cheeks.
She was not a poor sight to be hold, in truth if one were to look past the dark brooding anger look they would find a stunning beauty as pale as the moons glow and as soft as Silk brought from China. She was a porcelain doll framed in a waterfall of chocolate ribbons curled and bouncing with every breath. Her slender fame was built and strong yet it looked so breakable even the wind dare not blow to hard when she wandered the streets. Youthful chest was blessed and round as it hid that stone heart from the world. Better stone and cold, she always said, less chance of being hurt.
And hurt she had been so many times before. With another sigh she downed the last of that muck and politely requested another. She had to get this worked out... she had to get this right or she would end up being his puppet forever and as much as she loved this cat and mouse game she was not fond of being ones 'pet'.
"I am no dog..." She mumbled softly though no one would truly hear her, as the second cup of coffee was placed before her. That dark pool swam, trapped in the gaze of the ghosted orb, lost in thought, lost in hope.

She walked in, the warmth of the place flooding around her, encasing her in the scent of coffee and sugar. She took a deep breath, taking in the scent as she let the door shut behind her, fleeing from the cold outside, and into the warmth. Her eyes scanned the interior and was surprised to find the place packed. Blinking back her surprise she walked towards the counter, ordering her favorite, cinnamon caramel latte with whipped cream. A lot of whipped cream.
She stood, waiting as the boy behind the counter made her drink. Her eyes, however had strayed, searching the packed cafe for somewhere to sit. She had a moment to wounder if these people were what was left of poetry night, not here but at a place down the street. They looked it, that much she knew. At that thought she tilted her head, for she found, not one, but two seats on either side of one woman. She felt what everyone else in the cafe did, that that women was a force all in herself. Unlike the rest, Nakomis didn't fear her, she was just another person enjoying a cup of coffee.
She jumped when the boy tapped her shoulder to get her attention. She hadn't heard him when he'd spoken. She smiled, paid him and took her drink. He was young, and though she looked no older than seventeen, if that, she was far older than even he could comprehend. It still amazed her that shifters hardly aged after they reached their twenties, or for her, her late teens. She was at least in her forties, and she still looked as if she was in high school.
Turning around she took a much needed drink of her latte before heading towards those only two seats, next to the brooding woman. Nakomis put on her famous smile, a smile that was both to innocent for her own good and one that people could hardly resist when she turned it on them. It was a smile that said, 'how much harm could I possibly do?'
"Hi, may I sit here?" she said, her voice soft, sweet, like some fort of angel. It was her voice, almost that of a child's voice that added to her harmless smile. It was like the icing on the cake, it seemed to complete her.

"Thank you." She said with that flattering, pleased smile playing across her pale lips. She sat down, brushing the folds of her black dress under her to sit properly. Crossing her legs at her ankles she reached for her latte, wrapping both hands around the mug and lifted it to her lips. Smiling she took a deep breath, inhaling the scent of the sweetened coffee before she pulled it to her lips and took that first unbelievable drink.
She nearly moaned as the hot liquid slid over her tongue and down her throat. She was able to hold herself in check, and kept herself silent. She turned, glancing back behind her, peering through the thick crowd of people and through the glass walls. She almost expected to see her father, with that stern angry look on his face, standing on the other side with his arms crossed over his chest.
She could have laughed at the mental image, if it wasn't so true. Lucky her he wasn't really there, because she would never hear the end of it, about endangering herself for a cup of coffee. He'd say it was stupid and foolish, and rave on about leaving the house alone, and without someone strong enough to help her or save her from whatever was out there and after her.
The whispered curse by the woman next to her startled her, causing her to jump and slight turn, pale brown eyes peering at her in silent curiosity. "Excuse me? Might i ask who is--?" she said waving her hand as she paused, almost as if she was trying not to say the word Redemption herself had just spoken.
"I'm sorry, i don't mean to pry, but you seem a little, down, of sorts, is everything alright?" She asked, pure genuine concern filling her pale, soft brown eyes. She smiled gently and shook her head before turning back to her cup. "Sorry, I'm prying..." she said, dismissing her question with a slight wave of her hand before gently laughing. "I haven't had any new company for a while, I'm getting ahead of myself." She added, almost to herself before turning back to the woman next to her. "I should introduce myself if i am going to open my mouth. I'm Nakomis."

Chocolate brow rose in a graceful arch as she looked the youth over carefully. Something was off about this fem, her scent was odd and strangely tempting though she would never act on the sudden prickle that crawled beneath her skin, the beast was starting to wake. With a sigh she turned to face her, the lunar gem stone falling blindly on the small frame as she extended her hand in a kind act.
The gears spun swiftly in her mind as the name rolled like honey from her lips to her sharp ears. Holding her self still and her gaze steady she nearly smirked at how simple the lamb had walked in to the wolf's den and yet the wolf had done nothing to tempt the sweet thing. With a deep breath she turned to the woman, that startling two tone gaze gleaming brightly with a soft smile.
"May, May Cross." She flinched at her own name as she waved off the young woman's concern about prying in others lives. Her middle name had always been a problem for her, it was too weak too human for the beast that lurked just below those charmingly sweet duel toned gems.
The Moon turned from the woman, the wave of curls no longer able to hid it from sight now she simply held it on the cup of steaming coffee. A sigh rose as she though of an answer to her question, one that would make since that would work to make her feel as though she were speaking to a harmless young woman, much as herself. The kind happy look faded as she turned away completely, her lie chosen well and nearly dripping with belief.
"He would be my boyfriend..."She sighed, nearly whispering those words as she tried not to look at the woman in shame of what she 'was going through' "we go into a fight. He called me weak and useless and told me to simply obey him and my life would better......" She told the truth, give or take a few words, as she poked at her coffee mug. Her voice was soft and low in her fear. He had threatened her life, he had threatened other things of pain and maybe even pleasure.
Slender frame seemed to curl into itself as her shoulders shook with the movement of tears. She struggled now not to laugh, the smirk becoming a frown as she sniffled and tears fell from her eyes.
"I am sorry...I am sorry.. I shouldn't have told you that.. you..you don't really want to know this.."
deeper still little lamb...deep shall you go..... Said the wolf to the lamb soon little lamb...soon you shall be mine

She smiled gently as the other woman allowed her name to pass through her red lips. Nakomis nodded a silent greeting before the woman turned away and continued with what she had to say. Her own expression shifted in a heart beat, her soft brown eyes were wide, her mouth opening in disbelief at what she was saying. She didn't understand how a man could be so cruel. Never had her own father said such a thing to her mother, they were two who belonged together, who had fought so hard through out their entire lives to just love each other, to fight for their children when they to had been threatened.
Nakomis turned, leaning over the counter and another customer for a napkin before she turned back to 'May' and handed her the soft material, to wipe away her tears. "Here hun." she said,, tilting her head to the side so she could see the woman's face, a small sad smile lifting across her face, playing in her gentle eyes. "Nothing he said was true, You are not useless, and you are not weak, I may not know you, but that much I do, because I can see it, and feel it. If he says such things then he doesn't deserve you, no one like that deserves anyone, especially not you."
She smiled then, a sweet smile that replaced the sad one. She lifted a hand, gently placing it on Redemption's own. "No, please, If I can help then I am all ears. You can vent to me if you'd like? I am a really good listener, and I just might be ale to help, if you'd let me." She said, leaning against the counter top as she watched the woman next to her with an innocent curiosity.
Nakomis couldn't possibly realize what sort of trap she was falling into, her very nature, so gentle and innocent wouldn't allow her mind to actually process that this could be bad for her. That this, is bad for her. Though her senses are strong, abnormal, she couldn't pick out the odd scent out of her and all these people around her, and frankly, she didn't even realize that something was out of normal, because she wasn't looking for it.

Her brows knitted together, head tilting gently to the side. She was a mark of pure innocence, large brown doe eyes, and looking far to much like a child for her own good, when she was well past the age she even looked.
A sigh shook her, eyes shifting, downcast as she thought a moment about the words spoken from the woman's lips. She didn't understand how someone could love another person who was verbally abusive, to her it was the exact same as physical abuse, if not worse. Words cut at the soul, wounding ones respect for herself and her pride. It hurt and cut them into pieces, She just didn't understand.
For some reason that thought brought up her father to mind. Her father wasn't an abusive man, in any sense of the word. He was sweet, when he wanted, and he loved his family, and she knew that the past still haunted him, making him rather paranoid, but sometimes, he scared her. She loved him, trusted him, and looked to him for protection when something bad happened, but when that glint in his eye appeared, the one that said danger was near, that look that showed he was pissed, it scared her. It wasn't that she was afraid of him, more for him, because when that look appeared, it meant he would do absolutely everything in his power to keep his family alive, even if it meant he was whipped out of the picture.
"I know you love him... but I don't understand why even that would make you stay with him, the relationship is obviously not healthy, and men like that only get worse." She said softly, her words and expression gentle, concerned. She didn't want to see the newspaper with this woman's picture on it, saying that her boyfriend beat her to death, not ever, because she figured that's to to point this relationship was, or headed.
"How about we take a walk? I'm not really supposed to be out and about this late, but maybe we can talk a little more, if you'd like." She said with a soft laugh. She looked no older than seventeen, her statement could have been because it was a school night and her parents didn't know she was out so late. when in reality she was actually three times that age, and only enough to have grandchildren. She only lived with her parents because living any other way had proven to be dangerous.

She sniffled once more those oddly colored gems holding the ground as she listened to the others words, as she plotted her next course of action. She had only ever truly been weak once in her life, before this one and even then she could not stomach that fact She wanted to fight this, to attack this young woman and snatch the damned thing and be done with it. To walk out the caffe door and light a cig before tossing that foul beast out of her life.
She pondered this a moment longer as the young woman offered a walk, her mind splitting in two causing a slight pain. The Wolf beneath the sheep's clothing was pacing panting and fighting for the more bloody rout while a human voice lingered begging for a calmer way to handle things. Her shoulders fell even more to the point they could have sat on the floor of the coffee shop while the woman herself still sat in the chair.
"Most of the time I don't see him...you know, as harsh or cruel....he is more often then not a sweet heart. Sending flowers and things. Leaving little notes telling me he was sorry and that it won't happen again." Her eyes seem to take a far off dreamy look, as though one wee truly seeing such kind treats as flowers, candies, plush and more but this was Luci she was talking about. If anything was given from him to her it was the need for a new set of panties.
The smile thickened slightly and for once she was grateful for that dumb human look of the 'Love' Emotion, it hid both her distaste at the thought as well as the heated want that was just inches below the skin pacing with razor claws and bone crushing jaws. She let the smile linger and grow softer as she thought on the things she could remember from her days as a human, when that foul word 'love' had true meaning and she had known its touch apon her skin.
She shuddered as if cold before her gems tumbled to the floor yet again.
"oh.. no no.. I could not let you get in trouble dear for my own foolishness... I will be ok.. " The wolf growled within how could she turn this perfect moment down? In truth it had been easy, to easy even to her own mind. She shifted with unease in her seat as she thought on that a moment and recovered what the meaning was. Do not seem too eager to be alone with the brat...the wolf offered and she took it.
"It is late, and I should be looking for a room or so at the nearest hotel.. " she shrugged, "can't really go home tonight." She gave up a smile that was weak and broken but a smile no less in hopes the young woman would wonder on home and stay out of trouble...no it was the complete opposite she needed this girl to fall, to find this bull of a story even hard to resist in helping her..she needed her to take the bait.
