You know there's always one line in a song you simply love...but I can't point out any line that's better than the other in Iris! THE WHOLE SONG IS AMAZING!
I love The Goo Goo Dolls, but they will never write a song better than this.

Because it#s true, for me that is, the tears that ain't coming are the worst ever, it get'Äs better when you can cry, but when you cant... youknow I cry very quickly, but sometimes when it comes to the worst I can't.... that is horrible...
And when you lie... putting up the mask and suddenly you begin to become that mask, as if it is easting up from inside...
it doesn't seem real, to bad to be life - too good... to emotional...
and then you do things that are not good for you, some cut themselfves, others vomit, or eat to much, just to feel yourself again...
I dunno... I love that song... *sigh*

Ya'll know that he wrote that song for the movie City of Angels right? If you haven't seen it, I would recomend it. I absolutly loved it once :)
And I must admit, Iris is one of my "all time, desert island, top five" favorite songs (haha)

I completely agree. To me, this is one of the best songs ever written. Amazing, amazing lyrics. I cry every time I hear it too. *sigh* So beautiful!
