Shane was at the airstrip on his private jet sitting down. He poured himself a drink to calm his nerves. He hasn't seen or spoken to Carmen since Shockwave despite his many calls and even his search. They had made plans earlier in the day before Shockwave to take his private jet to fly down to Tampa to be there early for Adrenaline. He held the plane for a half hour already hoping to see if she would come.

Shane downs half the cup of his Ciroc and fills up his glass gain. He hears someone coming up the steps but he assumes its either Kid or Paul. He looks up quickly just to see who it is but when he see's its Carmen, he quickly gets out of his seat. He walks up to her looking at the smile on her face. He could tell the meek smile was hiding something else. He wipes the mascara off her face. He gives her a kiss and hugs her tight to assure her everything will be ok.

"I was worried about you."

Shane held tightly until she was ready to speak.

Shane could sense Carmen's anger. He knew exactly how she felt. Shane thinks back to earlier this year when he lost the Hardcore title to Bree Swift. He was disgusted and couldn't face himself so he understood where Carmen was coming from. He guided Carmen over to the plush, extremely spacious seat and sat her down. He poured her a drink then handed it to her. He would kneel beside her.

"Babe I understand completely. I'm here for you just know that."

With his hand, he stroked her face.

"Use it as motivation. I lost the Hardcore title to a less than worthy opponent. The same woman YOU beat into the ground. You're career isn't done babe. You can now go on to something bigger and better."

Shane stopped in mid sip as he heard Carmen mention her mother. He thought it was just about the match but it was obviously something much deeper than that. He had heard about her father from her and his own father but her mother, was a different story.

"Talk to me, how did that go?"

He asked awaiting her answer with a look on his face assuring her that he wasn't going to judge her like he didn't with her father.

Shane stands up signaling for his pilot to take off. He doesn't know whether to smile or keep a straight face. Carmen's demeanor is turning him on. She could be a very very vile woman and he loved to watch her live up to that title. He stood beside her putting her hands on her shoulders giving her a massage.

"Really? What brought that on?"

I was looking forward to hearing this story. Especially setting up her own mother. There had to be an extremely valid reason for anyone to do that.

Shane smiles at Carmen very impressed. He saw how far she was willing to do anything for her father. Shane liked that quality

"You made sure nobody else knew about this right? One phone call and the problem can be solved"

Shane smiled looking at his woman proudly. He sits her back down to allow her to take a load off. He stood looking down at her with a new found respect for her.

"I'm so proud of you babe. Nothing can stop my baby"

Shane lays back with his woman on his lap and he wraps his arms around her. He pulls her in for a kiss after she finishes speaking.

"Good, I can't have you disappearing. Plus after I lost the Hardcore title, my career skyrocketed. It is a blessing in disguise baby!"

He rubs the small of her back

"Hmm, this is going to be a great weekend baby. Picture us, you will be Queen of the Universe and I will be King."

He kisses her shoulders, glad that she is feeling at least a little bit better. He looked forward to this flight, also looked forward to this weekend.

"Imagine us so strong we have no limits"

Shane laughs at Carmen's first statement.

"Well for her sake she had better keep her mouth closed!"

Carmen asked Shane a question that caught him off guard. He laughed at the question anyway.

"Too vile? What is too vile? If you need to be vile to get things done then do what you must babe. Besides, you being vile turns me on."

Shane laughs again at his personal truth that he admitted to Carmen.

He holds her close and thinks briefly about what they're going to do in Tampa.[/color]

"Well I have a private island home right off the coast of Tampa, were you will be waited on hand and foot. I have a spa session set up for you. Then, I know this place were we'll have dinner on a rooftop overlooking the oceanfront. We're going to have a ball in Tampa babe. Then, i'll get the pleasure of watching you win at Adrenaline"

Shane rubbed her legs while she snuggled into him.
