Title: A Funzie Night On The Town!
Xavier Laroux - April 13, 2012 04:02 AM (GMT)
" Indoor sky diving. So not my plan A for this evening. "
Taking his first step out of that steamy restroom, a white cotton towel draped around the shoulders of young Xavier Laroux. A bared torso dripping with stray beads of water. Zipping up and buttoning the waist of the khaki colored cargo pants, Laroux would slip the towel off of his shoulders.
Making his way over to the bed that laid in the middle of the room, Laroux would turn his back to it before plopping down in a seated position on the edge of it. Balling up the towel in his hands, he dried the remainder of the water from his upper body. The wet towel pitched off to the side, Xavier pressed his hands into the bed on either side of himself, using the momentum to rise to a standing position.
Walking to the opposite side of the bed, he bent down, lowering to a kneeling position. Unzipping a black gym bag, he reached in, digging through the various articles of clothing within. Pulling his arm out, he revealed a smokey gray tank top.
Back to his original thoughts, Laroux would turn his head to the side, looking over towards the nightstand at the head of the bed. And just what did he look at...a half filled bottle of a clear, presumably alcoholic, liquid. Shaking his head back and forth, Laroux parted those lips of his.
" I mean, I have fun with you, but plan B totally blows you outta the water. Sucks, I know...but you'll be alright. "
Reaching across, leaning across the bed, he would pat the top of the bottle gently. Laughing out, he shook his head before sitting up. Pulling the tank top over his head, he reached towards the pillows, grabbing up a rather nice black collared shirt.
This was the next article of clothing to be pulled over the head of Laroux as he buttoned up the bottom button alone, leaving the other two open to expose the flesh of his upper chest.
Socks and shoes were to come next. After slipping the gray socks and black steel toed shoes on, he rose to a stand. Reaching towards the stand, he grabbed up the red cased phone, slipping it into his pocket.
Making his exit from the room, he decided to take the stairs, a little more activity wouldn't hurt. Upon reaching the outside of the hotel, he paused, a look of question appearing across those features.
" A good question to have asked was where to meet her at. Smooth Laroux. "
Shaking his head back and forth. he dug that hand of his into his right pocket, retrieving the phone. Pressing a few buttons on it, he would look down to it, perhaps waiting for something.
Nodding his head at the response given, he would head off in the direction given to him. His head held high, Laroux would make the trek down that lifeless concrete sidewalk. Exchanging a few pleasantries with fans who approached him, he wanted to get them done and over with as quickly as possible.
What was only a short time felt like the longest walk he'd ever taken. Finally reaching the building that was named in the direction. Locating a nearby bench, Laroux would make his way over to it before turning and lowering himself to a seated position upon it.

Outfit: [CLICK] So she had done it yet again. Kaci Deveraux had managed to get herself into a situation where she didn’t exactly know what the outcome would be. Granted, this was not one of those times where she was regretting the decision. Let’s face it, the girl was young, and hungry to make a name for herself, and even more so had the opportunity to meet someone who knew her trainer and practically worked with him for some time. Kaci already had her guard up of course as some of the things Devon had told her, really stuck in her mind about him, but there was no denying that Xavier was someone she had gotten along with from the get go. He had even taken up for her for the few moments she’d been on twitter, and needless to say that spoke volumes ever through the computer screen. The blonde had texted Brandi, still keeping up that act If anyone actually believed she was this bubbly and airy on the inside they needed to take a closer look at her deep cerulean blue eyes, and they’d see the difference, of course that’s only if she let them. Part of the game plan was to make sure they didn’t notice that she was one hell of an actress, and needless to say that was part of the risk with meeting Xavier tonight.
With one last message to him on Twitter, the blonde slid those purple suede high heeled shoes to accompany the daisy-duke like denim shorts, and her rain-cloud like colored tank, and with a final check of the hair and make-up she was rushing out the door with her phone in hand, along with her handbag of course, and the essentials like extra lip gloss, a mirror, cell phone which now actually was jawbreaker colored thanks to actually spilling the polish she had bought, and of course a smile, which didn’t really come in her bag, but she had to pull one off she aimed to make the impression she wanted to. As she headed down her stairs and out into the street she would flip those golden blonde locks. She was meeting a true legacy in this business, both in and outside of the ring, part of her wanted to do a skip and a hop.
Kaci: “I really hope this act doesn’t make him think I’m actually stupid. I’d really like to have a friend or two around here.”
It was hard for her to explain why she did things the way she did, but that was part of the experiment.
Xavier Laroux - April 13, 2012 04:32 AM (GMT)
Not once did he move from that spot after he initially sat there. Bringing his arms up, he would clasp his hands behind his shaven head, stretching his body out. A rather loud groan as he felt various points of his back popping. Relaxing his body, he would slump forward.
Turning his head to the left, applying a good bit of pressure, a satisfactory pop would send waves of feeling throughout the entire body of Laroux. A sigh of content escaped the shapeless lips of Laroux as he raised his head back up.
Watching as person after person walked by, Laroux would continue to have his eyes peeled for the one he so...eagerly awaited. Just what was it about her that had him so damn intrigued. It wasn't like with the rest, he took one look at them and felt nothing but the rawest form of lust, but her...intriguing indeed.
Shaking his head back and forth in an attempt to rattle those thoughts, he would force himself to laugh out at a silent joke, a way to ease his own tensions, calm his own thoughts. Nodding his head a bit, he would recline back, bringing his arms up to rest atop the back of the bench. Those brown eyes of his continuing to scan the surroundings, the wait would continue.

Outfit: [CLICK] Those long legs extended forward as she made her move down the sidewalk. She’d been texting Brandi for the last few minutes, again thanking her for the advice on the outfit, it seemed she’d changed it up a bit as Brandi had originally told her to go with the pink shirt to accompany this, but nevertheless, she agreed that the grey looked nice too. Kaci gave a final *muah* in the text before she stuffed the phone back into her pocket. Suddenly the bellisario was in view and she seemed to feel her heart pace indignantly. Something about this moment seemed right, but she wasn’t sure what. The blonde was just excited to meet another legend of the business to be honest. Meeting Devon had been the opportunity of a lifetime and since then she’d also met his wife Alexa. Who also helped with her training from time to time. She’d learned of Xavier through that experience and honestly, she couldn’t help but admire his work in the ring. Kaci herself was someone who hadn’t really been well known by the business yet, if they did know her it was from either seeing her twin sister and herself working tag team matches on an independent level for Shimmer, or They had seen her working by herself as UWF fan of the year, in which she took full advantage of to get TV time and to further her training. To say it was a surprise that someone like Xavier was even interested in hanging out with her was an understatement. Sure he was confident, but who wasn’t these days? Aside from herself of course because she didn’t even give people her true personality. All of her game was an act. She played mind tricks constantly but most the time it worked in her favor. Devon even approved of this mind game she played even though he’d seen right through her with what he called his “bullshit meter”.
As she came up to the place where that would be meeting, she gave a soft tuck of those straightened blonde locks behind her ear before she approached forward.
Kaci: “Oh Em Zee! I am totes’a’ly sorry if I’m late. I totes’a’ly got lost on my way here!”
It was a lie of course, but one that was easy to believe. Seeing as the way she talked made other people stare anyways. She gave a slight blush of the cheek. The 5’10 beauty standing well over 6’0 with her shoes on. She would run up to him giving him a hug. Even before he’d been able to stand.
Kaci: “But Goshie! It’s totes’a’ly so fabuloso to meetzie you in person I can’t believies this, it’s like a dreamie come truce! Hehe”
Her laugh transpired her to remove the hug she had him locked in before she looked back in a direction that neither of them had come.
Kaci: “I hopies you don’t minds heights. This is going to be so funzie!!”
Xavier Laroux - April 13, 2012 05:10 AM (GMT)
Before he was even able to process another thought, he had saw her. Thoughts flowing through his mind like an unrelenting flood. His thoughts jolted back to reality as Kaci began to speak. A laugh escaping his lips, the words would not follow as he found himself embraced in that hug while he sat upon the bench.
As she broke it, the words she spoke rang through his mind. Idle thoughts, questioning began to set in but all it took was one look into those eyes. God those eyes, no doubts. The left side of his mouth curling up into that smirk he was oh so used to donning. Even the right side slipped up, producing a slight smile even.
" No problem with heights what so ever. No worries about getting lost, we're all a little lost in one way or another. "
A wink given from Laroux, breaking the slight staring he was committing at that moment as he couldn't help but to laugh out again. A firm nod of his head as he would finally rise up from that bench. Stepping forward, he extended his right arm to her, bent at the elbow.
" Shall we? "

Outfit: [CLICK] A slight tilt of the head and she would give a nod, taking his elbow and interlocking her own with it. It wasn’t every day that Kaci did this sort of thing, but her mind was still complacent on keeping this act of hers alive, she was not the one to let it slip away so easily especially due to her life before now, but nevertheless that was for another time, now she was here with Xavier, and he was rather appealing to the eyes, no one had to tell you that, you just looked at the confidence he embodied and it was there, a natural sense of attraction, but Kaci wouldn’t find herself delving into that. Devon had told her to be wary, and Kaci knew her usual way with men, he’d find out about the real her, that smart genius girl underneath that bubbly blonde princess and decide to do away with her like everyone else in her life did, that was just the way for her, and this brave face she exuded right now helped deflect from that, what could she do though? You weren’t supposed to judge a book by it’s cover, you know that very same principle she was trying to teach everyone else, so she decided to make up her own mind about Xavier instead of listening to everyone else. That was just the Kaci Way.
Kaci: “Goshie! That’s totes’a’ly true. I meanz I get lostie all the timez, tee hee, but it’s always funzie to findzie your way backers. You never knowz whatzie you’re gonna get.”
Giggly, and exuded she offered a sense of acknowledgment to the direction she was going and she tried her best to walk by his side, though that could be taken either good or bad, as she would most likely fake a trip in these shoes to get her brownie points for being uncoordinated. Maybe she wouldn’t go to those extremes though.
Kaci: “Nowzie Mister Xavie Xave Xave. I thinkies this will be so excite-a-mundo don’t you?”
Her eyes flickered over to him, simply to question his stature. Maybe it was wrong of her to study him, but behavioral science was part of her nature. She was actually analyzing in her head, trying to figure out what he might be thinking. Was her act working? Was it not and he was just playing along to appease her? She couldn’t tell, though she had seen that genuine smile from before and it had met those brown eyes of his which seemed to glow somewhat in the evening, at least to her. They looked more like they had splotches of honey to her in the evening light, but that could possibly just be the reflection of the son disappearing.
Xavier Laroux - April 13, 2012 05:49 AM (GMT)
The feeling of her interlocking her arm within his own, to call this feeling rare among his time was a bold understatement. Silently thanking his own mind for putting up the filter on that one, he looked to her as she spoke, hanging on her every word. Nodding his head in agreement to the words she spoke, those curved lips of his parting to speak.
" The path accidentally taken. From my personal experience at least. "
Continuing on the path they were to take, he listened to the words she spoke still, the question she asked simply made him feel more at ease. Nodding his head in agreement, he would once more part those lips, his words flowing freely.
" You know, I really do think this is gonna be a lot of fun. Like I said, I've never jumped off of anything higher than my trailer, so I can only imagine what a rush this is gonna be. "
His thoughts wandering for a moment, remembering something that he was positive she heard about. A rather big detail, his reputation. And, with a man who knew of his past, such as Devon Mayhem, he knew she had heard quite a bit of it. Turning his head to look to her, those eyes of his locked onto her.
" I just..wanted to say that, despite what you mighta heard, I'm not really that bad of a guy. "

Outfit: [CLICK] Kaci’s eyes would focus on him for a moment, as she listened to the words roll off of his tongue. Part of her did believe him. It was somewhat one of those feelings, she knew how people were about her when they first met her and they were completely wrong, and who was she to judge him? He had been nice to her and even defended her, though he could have his own reasons behind that, but wasn’t there always a reason why we did something? We never just did something randomly. There was always some motive behind it after all, even her own with this act she was pulling. Her lips drew together firmly, pressing together to smooth over her gloss before she giggled.
Kaci: “It’s Okie Dokie Xavier. Totes’a’ly okie dokie. I meanz it’s not like you getzie to read a full on biography about mez or anything sozie I won’t judge you from the lips of others. If So I wouldn’t be here.”
Part of her was in character in that moment and part of her was being honest. She had no right to judge him, but Devon was slowly becoming like a big brother to her and with that notion meant that he felt the need to protect her in certain ways. Honestly, Kaci had never had that sort of protection in her life and it felt good in certain terms, but in the same sense, she was a grown woman and while she may pretend she didn’t have much sense, you didn’t get to where she was without some sort of basic knowledge.
Kaci: “I thinkies it’s super duper fabuloso that you felt the need to reassure me, though. That’s totes’a’ly awesometastic of you.”
She grinned giving that arm a squeeze as she went forward. Kaci herself was really excited about this. Many would think that someone like her would be afraid of what they were about to do, but in truth. Kaci was a gymnast, and had almost pledged Elite when she was younger, but she grew older and much too tall and the moves became harder to perform. The thing about being a gymnast was staying small, petite, and short, as your body could perform more dynamics that way, but Kaci had found something to apply those skills to in terms of her wrestling while also identifying her scientific nature as well. Wrestling truly was more than just sport for her, and reading over Xavier now, it was almost like she was getting part of a story.
Kaci: “This is going to be fabuloso for sure! I thinkies this is gonna be like the best sky divie experiento that I’ve ever beenzie to. Granted this is my firstie one, but still. Youz actually getz to fly in the air, no chordzies not aeroplanes, just a huge amount of pressure that makes you go WHEE through the air. Tee Hee! It’s seemed so awesometastic on the brochure. . .”
She paused in that moment blinking hesitantly.
Kaci: “You knowz, the one that meanie man at the lobby desk of the hozie-tell had to read to me. It was so EWUH, but at least I gotz some good funzie out of it. He was such a meanie though. YUCKY DUCKY BUCKY CHUCKY. Gross! Is whatzie he was.”
Xavier Laroux - April 13, 2012 06:29 AM (GMT)
Something about her words, not the rather outlandish way she spoke them but the words themselves, the meaning to what she was saying pushed far beyond the style of talking she displayed. She was certainly different than anyone he'd ever met before but he liked it...a lot. Why? Now, that was a question he would spend long lengths of time figuring out over the coming days.
" Usually, I let people think what they want to think about me, I mean who cares what everyone thinks of you? But...I just wanted to clear that up with you. I dunno, I'm rambling I guess. "
Laughing out, he brought his free arm up, rubbing the stubble covering the back of his head, his hand drifting down to the flesh of his neck. Giving that area a nervous rub as well. Shrugging a bit, he nodded his head up and down a bit, looking to her even still as they traversed the city sidewalks.
" The feeling of of flying must be...euphoric. My first...depending on how it goes, it very well could be followed by a lot more...who knows? It really sounds exciting from how you're describing it, I'll give it that much. "
Listening to the words she spoke still, actually picturing the man in the lobby exactly as she described him. Having paid as little attention to the man as possible, he hadn't really got to see that side of him that had her reacting in the way that she did.
" Some people can be so pushy like that. It's a real shame too, not really sure how anyone could be mean like that to someone as upbeat and happy as you seem to be. "

Outfit: [CLICK] Her eyes would drift off for a moment after he said some of the things he had to her. It was honestly surprising in more ways than one, at least from what she heard about him. She was really trying not to let that come into play, and with his reassuring her, it almost gave her a sense of relief. Her past relationships with men hadn’t go so well, obviously as they are in the past, but she still held that small smidgen of hope that there was someone out there, waiting around for her. Yeah it was crazy to think that way, it was crazy to think that you’d find one person in all the universe who cares about you and you only, yadda yadda. It was typical fairytale crap that she told herself not to get hooked on because it didn’t exist, but still deep within the pit of that soul, there was that smidgen of hope, the one bit of hope that no woman ever wanted to admit was there. Needless to say she didn’t think that was where this was going, she barely had even gotten to know Xavier at this point, and the only things she had known before now were things she promised not to judge him by. The blonde let her free hand slide up to push some hair back behind her ear.
Kaci: “Hmmz happies and upsie beat! Yeppers that’s totes’a’ly me!”
She gave a wave to some random passerby with that free hand before she flickered back to the conversation he’d been holding with her. She liked his attitude, one that she wished honestly she could obtain. She was not one of those people who could not care about what other’s thought of her. Instead every minute she thought about it, and while she may’ve seemed bubbly and happy that was the shield she used to protect herself. He may’ve not known it but he was reading through that glass veil she had up, and she was simply trying her best not to let him break it like Devon had the first time they met. Because without a doubt part of her was still wondering if she could trust him, even if she wasn’t judging him for his past because lord knows she wasn’t being honest right now.
Kaci: “I likies thatz aboutzie you Xavie! You’re totes’a’ly fabulous for notzie lettzie them getz to you. That super duper awesometastic to me. Becausie meanies can be so darn mean! I mean like that meanie Eddie Kassidy I had to kickie his booty in the land of Pandas, butzie like I was sayzing. You’re totes’a’ly fabuloso for that monsieur.”
The way she said the words was like a sweet purr pouring from the Valley girl tongue. It always seemed a California girl had that special touch.
Kaci: “I alwayz hassie troubles with meanies. It’s why my Sissy is usually tagging along with me so many places. She lookies just like me and gets really angry when someone is a meanie to me. Twinsie power I guessie. I tryzie not to let them messie with me, if they’re so not fabuloso then I say oh noes and walkies awayz. True stories.”
She giggled now as they arrived to the place.
Kaci: “I kind of feelzie likies I don’t hassie her strength though. I’m just Kaci, everyone’s favori-mundo chickie who they allz lovies because she’s so funzie and care free, but nozie one ever expecties me to be strong and toughies. I am used to the feeling.”
She reflected on that thought, giving a brief glance towards the ground before she lifted herself back up, this was supposed to be funzie and by god she’d show him a damn funzie time.
Kaci: “Heresie we arez! Let’s get inside!”
She already had tickets from the brochure she had read and now before long both were being harnessed above the powerful fans that would force winds up to 120 miles an hour so that they would not fall, of course having the harness there to help them as well. It took only a moment before she took a deep breath and then jumped from the balcony like structure they had and she was floating through the air.
Kaci: “Oh Em Zee! This is loco in the coco!”
Xavier Laroux - April 13, 2012 07:25 AM (GMT)
That rare smile of his took an even larger turn as it grew slightly bigger, a softer, brighter than he was accustomed to. Something was different about how he felt around her, how he carried himself around her. Sure the confidence was there as it always is, but it was somehow different this time. The biggest sign to him was the feeling he received when she mentioned Eddie Kassidy. If it were anyone else, he would stiffen up with anger, thoughts of the past. But...just the way she mentioned his name, it was...to him...just another mention of a co-worker. The problem was, he just didn't know how to feel about that.
" I guess it's just easier for me than it is with other people. I spent the majority of my childhood being criticized, talked down upon, thrown to the side. I guess...it was around my Seventeenth birthday...something happened. It was then I decided...nobody will criticize me without me proving them wrong...nobody will talk down upon me without equal or greater reaction...and after recent events, I'll be damned if I'm just pitched to the side again. "
A reassuring aura grew around that smile of his. Suddenly, it hit him...he was letting her in, he was letting her past what everyone, Tyriq and Alaina included, saw. And the kicker? He didn't care. It didn't bother him for a moment to let her in. He was...glad to let her in and he didn't care why. The feeling of being able to open up to someone like this...it wasn't something to be questioned.
" Family is supposed to do that. I mean, with Tyriq and Alaina in my life again, I can't help but to feel relieved that I have people who look out for my wellbeing, people who are concerned about me. It's something I'm sure you feel with your sister. "
And they arrived at their destination. Upon stepping through those doors into the building, the sight of everything, the equipment, the sheer atmosphere in the room was a bit overwhelming. Now, after being harnessed up and standing upon that balcony is when the real overwhelming sensation came in. Suddenly, he began to question just what in the hell he was doing here, but then he saw her jump. Just like that, he did the same. Caught by the massive stream of air blowing upwards, he floated...he actually floated.
Words could not describe the sensation he was feeling. Looking all the way down at the source of his soaring, he felt...alive. Closing those eyes of his, simply indulging in the feeling that was surging through his body. The words she spoke rang through, above all else. Turning his head to the side, he looked towards her with that smile.
" This is amazing! Holy hell Kaci, this is unlike anything I have ever felt. "

Outfit: [CLICK] Kaci was in sort of a dismal state, this sense that urged through her body it was insane, almost like she was free falling from a building, but something was keeping her from floating downward, like gravity no longer mattered, and for someone like her the theory that Newton didn’t apply in this situation just made her grin. Wow this was something. It was even more so something when she reflected upon the way Xavier was acting, something inside of herself told her this wasn’t a game for him and that he wasn’t playing along to some ideal he had. She had seen him cut promos before, she’d seen the t-shirts of his favorite drug and normally she wouldn’t be caught out with someone like that. Again though instead of being against it, she admired that about him and something about the way he had smiled when he had jumped behind her, it made her giggle all the more. Maybe she shouldn’t have been so head strong and just jumped in like she had but to her to experience science in motion, well it was unreal. She was a smart girl, and she knew all the aerodynamics. She knew how this felt and yet Xavier had so much more figured out then her. Instead of thinking about what it was that was making him float, he instead was enjoying the feeling and as he spoke over to her about never experiencing anything like this in his life, her eyes just sort of closed and followed that motion. The fact that she was silent and that there were no words spieling from her lips and the fact that right now in this moment, Kaci was no one else, but Kaci. That barefoot floating through the air Kaci, no one else was there but that girl, the surface wiped clean and no one was stopping her in these seconds from being just that girl. It was a nice feeling.
Kaci: “oh wow this is crazy.”
She took a moment to look back over to him, possibly not being heard over the wind and she thanked herself for that, as she had almost slipped up. It wasn’t like Kaci to reveal herself so easily, but it seemed Xavier was opening up at least to her knowledge it felt that way, but still she felt like she had to safeguard herself.
Kaci: “I toldzie you this was super duper funzie times four! “
She was now flying over from where she was closer to his position, It was almost like swimming through the air, or being in space, where g-forces didn’t matter. This was literally a feeling like no other.
Kaci: “I’m glad you’re enjoying yourself!”
Again there were no special words, but she didn’t stop herself at that point she simply floated on over so she could actually hear what he was saying, this space flight phenomenon was making a lot of barriers come down, not just Newtons. .
Xavier Laroux - April 13, 2012 08:29 AM (GMT)
What he heard, he couldn't have heard. He must have misheard her...right? Nonetheless, the intensity of defying gravity, man in flight without usage of a plane, or a hand glider, what should have been possibly the biggest ego boost was actually one of the most humbling experiences he's ever had and he loved every last second of it.
In another time...another life, his brethren in The Church were into things just like this, though Laroux never opted to join them in these type of activities. But, it was in this moment, this moment he finally realized why they were they way they were. It was things like these that invigorated them as much as it did...made them as alive as they were.
Those eyes of his opening up once more, he found himself forcing his head to turn to the side, looking over to her, gazing at her form as it floated, defying every bit of logic. Watching carefully as she floated through the air, getting closer to where he was. Once more, he listened to her words, the outlandishness of it all seeping into his thoughts. But just one phrase, one phrase was all it took. Hearing the last bit of what she spoke, his smile reached a whole new level.
" It feels like...I could defy the gods...fate...life. "
Looking at her even still, his smile softening a bit more as he parted those lips once more, speaking out to her yet again.
" It feels like I can be whatever I want to be...and nobody can stop me! This is so awesome, Kaci...thank you. "

Outfit: [CLICK] It was strange the way this had happened. Only meeting each other today, it seemed she was seeing a different side to Xavier Laroux. Of course Devon had told her the things that weighed on her mind previously, but he never said anything about this. Xavier hadn’t thanked her once, but twice, and even his eyes spoke sincerity. She really couldn’t define if he was acting or if this was just some illusion and he was doing a damn good job of it, it almost made her question what was going on here, but part of her knew deep down, she couldn’t question it. She had to take what was at face value, but something about it kept her intrigued. Something about the way he looked, she knew he wasn’t lying in his thanks he meant it, but honestly, he didn’t seem the type to be so grateful. She was floating in the air while thanking about this and something inside of her just made her giggle. One that hadn’t been heard before, not that bubbly almost fake laughter, but it was truly the real thing. Kaci was used to playing a part, but she knew when the laughter had come it was genuine. Granted rude, but she held up her hand to signify that she was not laughing at him.
Kaci: “I’m sorry. I just . . .”
She laughed again. Honestly she couldn’t help it, though she was laughing at herself in place of him, this wasn’t what she had expected at all.
Kaci: “It’s just that we are having this surreal experience an dhere I am thinking about everything, but the moment.”
That “Funzie” talk was gone out the window for the moment, this was simply a “here” and “now” situation. She didn’t need to hold that barrier up at least not for the moment, she was free to be herself. Maybe it would come back up again, or matter this relationship was headed somewhere like the one she had with Devon. . . or maybe, just maybe that little smidgen of hope she had before was in him now. Honestly, she didn’t know, Kaci wasn’t one of those girls who was crazy over men, but Xavier was showing her something different, and she couldn’t help but admire that.
Kaci: “You knowzie you don’t have to thankies me.”
She now had that talk back again, but it was only in a playful humor now. Her cover was blown she was busted, but she still wasn’t going to give quite in. Something about her spoke volumes in terms of that, she was good at playing her part when she had to and if he said she wasn’t who she pretended to be she could easily play it off. Nevertheless, something told her he wasn’t the type to do that especially if she didn’t want him to. At this moment, he was a different Xavier than any rumor, myth, or legend that she had heard, part of her just wondered what that meant. What did it mean for her, for him, for this situation, and would It be over the minute the “euphoria” ended? All of these things went through her mind.

Hearing the words she spoke...how she spoke them, he understood completely. A nod given to the explanation given by her. Shaking his head back and forth a bit, that reassuring smile saying all that he needed to say. Laughing out as she told him he didn't have to thank her, not because it was funny, but because he did have to thank her.
In this one moment, with someone he hasn't known over Twelve hours, he truly felt something he's never felt before, he saw another person as he never saw anyone before her. That, in and of itself, was more than enough reason to thank her. But, he decided it'd be best to leave that little piece of information in his thoughts for the time being.
Rather than spilling forth more and more, he would turn his self to the point of him standing straight up and down as he would on the ground. His arms bending, the material of his clothing flapping violently in the wind, he looked to her with a wink.
" I feel like one of those guys in the Japanese cartoons that yell all the time. Ya'know, like ahhhhhhhh! "
Throwing his head back for emphasis, his yelling getting a bit louder. A couple moments passed of his display before he began to maneuver himself closer and closer back towards that balcony. Reaching it, he would pull himself onto it, taking a bit of a rest.
" Phew, tired myself out a bit there. Haha! "

Title: A funzie Night on the town
Involved: Kaci Deveraux and Xavier Laroux
Outfit: [CLICK] Kaci watched him as he maneuvered himself and she would laugh again, giving herself a moment to float back over to the balcony as well, she hadn’t even realized what all this wind might be doing to her hair, she probably would have to spend some more time straightening it, However it’s not like she’d brought that equipment with her. However, she didn’t much mind now, it would help most likely if she had funny looking hair to go along with her bubbly persona. Kind of like one of those ladies from an eighties movie, big hair, lots of attitude. Only her’s was a “funzie” attitude, nothing too serious.
Kaci: “Thatzie Funnies! I didn’t thinkies Xavier Laroux ever gotzie tired.”
She too would offer her own little wink, signifying that she was playing, she pulled herself up there beside him. The whole part of this adventure was the making friends part, but she was possibly thinking further ahead than she should be, the traditional senses of Kaci, and she was almost cursing herself for it. She finally stood again before she began to play with her hair, going over to reach for a mirror and she laughed out.
Kaci: “Goshie! Goodzie thing I broughtzie some hairzie spray for laterz. . . My hair is totes’a’ly loco for coco. Wowzers!”
She made a giggling sound before she ran her hands through what was not a massive frizzball and turned back giving a ski bunny pose, and shrugged at the fact. Normally it would’ve made her insecure, considering years ago Kaci hadn’t even accepted her beauty. The fact of the matter at that point in time was she didn’t take care of herself, or rather didn’t do more than she had to as she wasn’t focused on being that overly glamourous woman, but now it was part of her business and she knew that it was required. Not to mention Xavier pretty much had already out dressed her with his ensemble. She was staring at his backside from here. She walked back over to him and did something in signature Kaci style she sat beside him and began to rub her hands over the back of his head like a magic crystal ball, only you know, it felt much nicer than that, because his hair was cut so short. It was a feeling most woman loved but wouldn’t admit, Kaci however, liked it. The feeling of freshly shaven hair against her skin.
Kaci: “Hmmz Thissie feelzie funnies, but I likies it. Totes’a’ly super duper fabuloso and all that. ”
Why she had gone back to speaking this way, she didn’t really know, she’d left herself vulnerable there in those moments when she had spoken in her actual tone and found that she needed to raise that shield again. The Sky dive was over, but the after effects weren’t. She reached over now kissing his cheek, like the “bubbly” Kaci would do. It was gentle, sweet, and most of all gentle.
Kaci: “I told you, I know allz about the funzie! WHEE!”
The words came out on their own as she stood again taking her gear, perhaps it was time they went for that show.

Those eyes of his locked to her, watching as she floated closer and closer to where he sat. Laughing out at the words she spoke, he nodded his head up and down. Tired wasn't the word for it, he could have stayed in that updraft forever with the feeling it gave him, he just needed a chance to...collect his thoughts so to say.
" Yeah, they must have slipped some kryptonite into my drink. Dastardly villains I tell you Kaci! "
Laughing out, his eyes following her intently as she stood on the balcony, playing with her hair. Listening to those words she spoke even still, he shook his head back and forth, looking up to her with that smile. Lips parting, he would give his honest opinion regarding that.
" I don't think it looks bad at all Kaci. Really, just a little poof here and there and it'll be as good as new. Plus, I think it kinda fits you. "
Winking to her after he said that, he would feel those hands of hers running across the stubble that covered his skull. Her touch...god her touch. Everything around him slowly faded away, all the lights, sounds, people. Everything gone except for the two of them in his mind.
Before he had the chance to speak in response, he would feel her lips pressing against his cheek. His eyes opening up a bit larger than usual as he gazed up at her even still. The words she spoke shook his thoughts, bringing him back into the reality all around them. A firm nod of his head as he would maneuver up into a standing position of his own.
" I have a feeling that...that is one of the bigger understatements I've heard in my time. "
Laughing a bit, he winked at her before taking a single step forward. His right arm extending towards her, he offered her his hand. A slight tilt of his head would be followed with but a single question.
" Shall we? "

Outfit: [CLICK] It surprised her almost how much her touch had affected him as she had stood back up and watched him slowly, he was nothing short of a gentleman though from what she had seen thus far. Everything that everyone had been telling her seemed to not be true, at least in the way he was acting now. Perhaps he was right when he said that people had judged him. She just wondered what Devon would say when she told him about this whole thing. The way Xavier had been towards her was well honestly, surprising, but a good kind of surprising. He hadn’t looked at another person but her all evening and while it seemed odd to say that, she was thankful.
Kaci: “Letzie go!”
If he didn’t mind being seen with a frizz-ball she didn’t mind either, not to mention she did kind of feel like Madonna from the eighties looking this way, though she had preferred the straightened version of her hair from previously, she would take this in stride. She gave a slight hint of a giggle dropping off their bungee stuff as she still held his hand. Though it wasn’t exactly “couple” like it didn’t feel too strange, it wasn’t an akward hand given, it was more so a gentleman-like gesture.
Kaci: “You Knowzie this was super duper funzie. I thinkies we should do this more often!”
She would give a soft hint of laughter before she let smile appear again. Those cerulean blue eyes of her’s however were still studying his emotions. It was her duty to question people and study their behavior that was what she was all about after all. She wanted to know if he agreed however, or if she was just thinking this all up to herself.
((OOC: You can end this with your post if you want, we can say they just attended the show after this <3 We want to keep the story fresh right? LOL))

The two of them dropping off the equipment, her hand still in his provided him with a feeling of content that he had longed for. He knew what was mentioned about him, he knew the reputation that he had. Good, before now he had yet to meet a person who deserved to know otherwise. And slowly, but surely, Kaci would know otherwise.
" Let's! Should be a great way to end a great night. "
A firm nod of his head given to her after hearing the words she spoke. Looking to those eyes of hers...god, those eyes. Having heard all the sayings "eyes are the window to the soul" and whatnot, he began to believe them because what he saw when he looked into those eyes of hers was nothing he could properly describe with words and he knew a few of those to say the least.
After all was said and done in regards to the indoor sky diving adventure, he would lead her out of the building, the night air filling his lungs. Something about the night life caused him to much prefer it over the bright sunny days that came before. Standing there for a couple moments, he simply took it all in. Allowing those brown eyes of his to close, he simply found himself delving in his thoughts. And, for once...they weren't jumbled, they weren't devious, they weren't sexual. They were of her. What was it about her, a question he found himself asking more and more as time went by.
" It really was, I haven't had this much fun in...yeah, it's been a really long time. Nothing would be better, in my eyes, than to do stuff like this more often. Though, the adventure of floating being as fun as it was...I think it was the company I had that made it what it really was. "
That genuine smile of his dominating any habits of a smirk that he had formed, he would nod his head once more before turning away from the building as the two of them made their way down that lifeless concrete sidewalk, aiming for their second destination for the night, the show.
(OOC: That'll be just fine actually, sounds good! <3 And yes, always gotta have freshness.)
