The Calgary Flames are all but done for year 6 in EFHL season, but GM Roppa has already started looking to year 7. From what we hear GM Roppa will stay on track with his youth and may add some pieces here and there. From what we've been told this is what the Calgary Flames will look like come year 7

Mikael Backlund - Jason Spezza - Tyler Seguin
Taylor Hall - John Tavares - Nazem Kadri
Brett Sonne - Angelo Esposito - Brayden Schenn
Michael Frolik - Mikael Granlund - Mikhail Stefanovich

Luke Schenn - Victor Hedman
Michael Del Zotto - Taylor Chorney
Colby Cohen - Tomas Kundratek/Jonathan Blum

?????
Leland Irving

That's a cap hit of $60.96 mil which means the Flames will have just about 10mil to spend when looking for a number 1 goalie.

Spezza will be the oldest player at the age of 30, will Chorney in second at the age of 27, everyone else will be under the age of 27, so this will be a very young team. GM Roppa is said to be very happy with this team, and feels this team will be hard to beat in the next few seasons.
