Heyo, lazy residental bum dragon here. I signed up a while ago but haven't posted that much. (Read, at all...) Ehehehe.... Well Anyway excuse me for the long-winded ness of what I write, but I like to write alot instead of just saying a single-lined comment. So you'll just have to put up with it!
http://nofna.com/ Nature of Natures Art. This person here made/is making two awesome comics that test your mental skills in understanding. It's animal Kung-fu at its most basic, and intellectual conflict at its deepest. It's not for everyone, but so many people have been entranced by th tales that in the second one over 50 people read the updates each day. The current comic is in Black and white hence why the almost daily updates. I highly reccomend using all the resources such as the glossary and such to better understand the world that these animals live in. Their fighting styles are complicated and each species has its own values of society that make up the whole. Comics: (I try to make them sound interesting, but likely fail miserably.) 10% + This one has been completed. Just a really rough summary since I dun wanna spoil much: About a maned wolf, Meander, who is basically doing terrible in colledge. He has to think up a new concept or else fail miserably, and manages to do so. But there is a limit as to what one can do with their mind and Meander is injured in his quest to surpass the limit. But then his teacher cooks up a plot to use other animals that aren't part of their society in a cruel way. Meander who is no match for him still faces his teacher at the possible cost of his very being. Secretary Currently in circulation. The power of malice is a strange thing SV the degu notes. Perhaps there is something different to it other than cruelty and death. SV goes off to his first day of colledge trying to understand and improve his thoughts and concepts. But in thinking what he learns is such trivial information, how will he ever get to progress and improve? http://www.donbluthanimation.com/index.php Another site I go on is Don Bluth's main page. He is a crazy amazing animator that set this site up to give knowledge to others. There are features that only paying members can access, and they plan to make a short as well among those members. But there are several tips and lessons available to those who haven't got a dime in their pocket. The forums are also a very great wellspring of animation, whether it be technique or just the talk of great films that have been made. I reccomend enthusiasts to try and look around a bit. Heck even to those who wish to just draw I reccomend as well, because animation is basically a series of strong and well designed drawings, except they have the illusion of movement. ^^ http://www.anim8or.com/main/ And for those who feel like they can't get through with pencil and paper, I show you a free 3-D animation program. Anim8or is a very good program that is being built up slowly with the efforts of its creator. He wished for people to be able to do animations without spending thousands for one program. Though the textures and rendering may not look great, it takes some work and you can make them just as good as many other programs. The gallery shows a few choice pieces that exhibit this. I hope these prove to be enjoyable and useful. |

Is it that wierd or amazing that you are all at a lack for words? XD I'm just speaking in a joking manner here. The comics were hard for me to understand, and still are now that I think of it. One can read through several times and find something they never noticed before, so I figure these can stand the test of time well. As for the animation links, I'm a big enthusiast and trying to learn myself. Figured sharing might be a nice idea on all those accounts.
XD If I were a dragon then I wouldn't be too well off. Pecaul lacks wings and can't fly. Her front paws are also thinly padded so walking on all fours is hard to do for long. It's just something I like to say alot since Pecaul was made a few years ago and I still sometimes like to reference her despite not always concurring with those ideas. Basically she was a 'sona of sorts till I felt she could be better off as her own character. I still use her name and references though. Kinda a far-cry from my topic though DragonLord. I'm wondering what people think about this wierdness. |
