I was just wondering how everyone keeps an inventory of their collection. I was wondering if you use a custom inventory database (Excel or Access, etc.) or if programs such as Comic Collector Live are used. Do people even keep an inventory? I have to admit that I have not up to this point but am really looking at doing so.
I just recently won close to 300 comics in an auction and when I went through and did my initial grading of them (to see how I did ) I was thinking I needed to start keeping better track of what I had. I put a small sticker under the bag flap with the grade and, for most of my Disney/Dells, the issue number. That way, the sticker won't come off as easily. This got me thinking that I should probably keep some sort of record. I just wanted to get people's thoughts on the matter.
