Code Of Conduct

Every member (including the staff) is expected to respect each other. This means that there will be no tolerance for flaming, drama or arguments with no end in site. If you have any problems at all with any other members, we ask that you take those arguments outside of our Community. Any topics relating to flaming or arguments will be deleted without warning.

Respect the board and the hard work that has gone into them, do NOT take any images or creative written material in partial or whole for any reason. Do not flood the forum with countless posts of one word or one sentence post for the sake of posting, this is considered Spam. If you cannot provide a well thought out & constructive subject or reply DO NOT POST! Links to porn, warez, or other "questionable" content is also considered SPAM, so don't post any garbage, EVER. User will be warned and or banned, as per the TP staff's discretion.

The administration and moderators have the right to monitor every message that is posted on the boards and to revoke the membership of anyone who does not follow these rules. A complimentary explanation through e-mail may be provided when a membership is revoked but in most cases it is not likely, so be warned!

The Basics

When Joining for the first time, he/she must copy one of our character sheet templates and fill in the requirement fields. Once you are finished post your sheet into "Pending Sheets" for one of our staff members to check over it and decide whether to approve or deny. Do not fret if your character has not been approved, surely our staff will explain the reasons and you may have up to two weeks to fix your errors.

Here are some tips for when you want your character sheet to go through:

1) Always check your spelling by running it through a Spell Check system.
2) Writing a good two, three paragraph on Personality and Description.
3) Have an impressive Example RP.

We ask that when you sign up to use the name of your character that you are applying for.

You can have only up Four characters, why we have limit to four? Because there have been a lot of members that easily dismiss one or two characters and in result.. a waste of bandwidth on our part. If you feel that you can handle more then just four, please speak to one of our Administrators or Moderators for permission.

If you are new at joining, I would like for people to play one dragon as a maximum. I know dragons will be the most popular characters to play so I must limit the amount I have. for now atleast. If you wish a second character and you already have a dragon, create a mage or a human please.

Please take your time when you post & be sure to write at least 2 - 3 paragraphs (five sentences each.) Spelling & grammar is also very important, so please take the time to proof read your post in case there are any errors. Online lingo such as (ASL?, Y r u talkin 2 me? ect..) or anything that is hard to read in general like... (HeLlO mY nAmE iS aPrIl, HoW aRe U?) These examples or any other variants is not acceptable, so please don't do it.

Please read up on the announcements because they do concern all members because changes could happen on our board. For those who do not read announcements could really miss major changes that could take place.

Activity

In order to maintain the characters here in our Community, you must reply to "Activity Check "when they occur. If you do not reply to the Activity Check by the end of the closing date, your characters WILL be deleted and your sheets will be sent through email. We do this because again.. we want active rpers who are willing to post every once a week if not every other day.

When you have submit your character sheet and it has been approved, you must put that character into play within 30 days. If you have not done anything with your character it will result to deletion without warning and your character sheet will be sent to you in email.

God-Moding

Absolutely NO God-moding... Which means controlling another person ect. An example of this would be inflicting wounds on another without consulting with the other first. Or making another speak or fight even. You will be warned and given a chance to revise it.

Example Of Good And Bad

The Right Way- Seraphina forced her whole body to drop to the ground and roll away from her attacker who was coming at her with preternatural speed. When she saw her chance to strike, she got up on her feet and retrieved a dagger that rested just inside the pocket of her jacket and lunged in by aiming for her attacker's chest.

The Wrong Way - Seraphina dodged her attacker and retrieved a dagger from the pocket of her jacket and lunged forward having the blade stab into his chest until he screamed bloody murder.

Avatar And Signature

Do not use any type of anime or 3D images for your account. Use Celebs and Models only! Those who are caught using any type of graphic images will get a PM from our staff telling you to take it down.

Each character will have a different Celeb/Model picture unless and this must be stated in the biography.. that your character has a twin. Do not use a Celeb/Model picture if it already in use whether deceased or not. Signatures can be no bigger then 458x200. Any bigger then that we will ask for you to resize it or make a request in "Graphic Help" and have one of the members do it for you. Dragon kin may use a suitable dragon avatar.

Adult Forums

We ask that you keep to a minimum when it comes to sexual threads along with violence. We do not want to scare off other members or get into trouble with their parents. If any threads caught that seem to hold more then stated it will be either moved or deleted depending on age limit.

If you feel the need to have access to our Adult Forum, you may speak with an administrator by giving them your name, your character name, and date of birth. If you are not +17 & Up, you WILL NOT get access to these forums unless a parent has given you permission.

None Playable Characters

NPC's are characters that are not controlled by a member. These characters were created to expand your RP out. You may not in any circumstances god-mode these characters out without the member's consent first.

Multi Posting

Multi Posting is allowed, as it helps the board remain active and people to interact with other players. But please do not go overboard, a char in ten other places a bit too much and could lead to confusions. So try and limit yourself a bit and to where yourself can keep track of where your characters are.

Character Deaths

When a character dies within the board.. there is no coming back. The problem with Characters coming back often cause a bit of IC confusions. There shall be no exceptions.. so do not exceed in asking to bring back your character because once the character dies.. he/she no longer comes back. You are very welcome to create a new character but no twins unless it was regaurded into your application. If you were to create one they must not have the same personality.

Killing off Another Character...

You must have full consent of the player behind character. There shall be no killings which leads to God-Moding if you haven't gotten consent to kill their character. This is also very common to create a OOC Drama when it comes to killing a character without the member's knowledge.
