The Little Mermaid 2, Return to the Sea

Well, I have to admit, I thought this was definitely a really good disney sequel. Although Ursula isn't in it, I think Morgana does a pretty good job as the villain, of course not as good as Ursula. Nonetheless, I thought it was a cute story. It's interesting though b/c the sequels usually involve the children doing the same thing the parent wanted to do except the opposite. Like how Melody wanted to go into the ocean and be a mermaid and Ariel wanted to be a human. I think Melody looked just like her mom but with black hair like Eric. Oh, and I also think the walrus was really sweet. Yes I actually liked the walrus more than the penguin(which are my fav).

I can tell you from experience that if you mother had red hair and your father had black hair...you end up with dark...almost black hair!

I really liked this movie...as far as a sequel goes. When I was younger, I used to think it be a cool movie if Ariel had a son that wanted to be a...well I guess a merman...apparently I was kinda onto something there...

My daughter ADORES this movie! Its funny to me that she likes it so much better than the first one! She names half of her dolls Melody and whenever we see anything Little Mermaid she asks why there isn't Meldoy stuff!

I agree that its a cute movie. The songs are nice too!

That is the cutest thing that I've heard in a long time...I wonder why they haven't made anything with Melody on it? I think it would sell pretty well with real little girls!

HA!!!....I do the same thing with Ursula, personally...I wanted Morgana to have her own song...granted it would've been Pat Carroll singing another song...i Just feel it would've been right!...to give Morgana some what of a competition between Morgana's song and Ursula's song.
