Happy Birthday Taro!

[Kotone]

Kotone sighed a bit as she set her brother's birthday cake on the table. She had made it herself, with help from Hikaru. Taro was still out with his friends, celebrating their recent graduation. She had been so proud, considering that at the beginning of the year everybody thought him to be a drop-out...but he'd proved them wrong and actually graduated with a few honors! Plus since he was turning eighteen, he would inheirt a few things, including money...but why was she so unhappy?

Kotone sighed again. "Well, everything's ready for the party."

"You don't sound very excited." Raionessmon pointed out.

Kotone just shrugged. "Now, I wonder where everyone is..."

Axle walked into the room on crutches, Wolfymon laying on his head. "Hey guys...what's up? Where is everyone?" Axle asked, looking for somewhere to sit.

[Kotone]

"Its Taro's birthday." Raionessmon said, appearing with a flash of red.

"Meaning this is his last day at the orphanage..." Kotone said, a bit sadly. She looked at him. "But Miss. Parker cleared every one out so we could get ready for the party. I don't know why they would be inside anyway...we're out for the summer."

Shichiro walked in, hands in his pockets. "Hey Axle, he Wolfy...where's Henri, Kotone? Didn't he say he'd be here?"

"Yeah. I think he went off to see Indiana Jones, though." Kotone replied.

Taylor walked in,with a small Chodimon on his shoulder, and a Present in his hands.

"Hey you guys." He said.

He sat down the present.

Chodimon eyeballed the cake, and lunged for it. But this had happened many times before, so Taylor had developed a reaction, and caught him in mid-air.

[Kotone]

Kotone laughed. "Oh no you don't Chodimon. I worked on this cake all morning with Hikaru. Besides, the birthday boy gets the first taste."

"Where IS the birthday boy?" Blacky asked, coming out of the digivice.

"My guess is he's still out getting drunk with his friends." Shichiro said, smirking. At Kotone's look, he laughed. "Relax...I'm joking. But he said he was running a bit late, remember? He's helping a bunch of his friends fix up his car."

Kotone nodded.

"Hey Wolfy...did you bring the gift?" Axle asked, yawning. "You were suppose to..." Wolfymon said. "I'm on crutches!!! How am I suppost to carry a gift!?" Axle yelled. "With your mouth...like me..." Wolfymon said, smirking. "...when I get more training done...I'm taking you down before I take Kain down..." Axle said, growling.

"Dun dunda! DUN DA! DUNDUNDA!" A voice sung as the backdoor opened as Henri and Agumon, both wearing Indiana Jones like hats, where coming in.
"Brilliant movie! Best Jones there is!"
"Especially, Henri! Especially since it was Henry Jones Junior!" Agumon said.
"Exactly, as a Henri, where the pretty adventurous!"
Agumon giggled and then noticed everyone in the room, "Henri, it looks like we just crashed a party?"
"Did we," Henri said, "Kotone? Whats the occasion?"

Kotone stared at him. "You've got to be...think Henri. What important something happened today, exactly eighteen years ago? And if you still can't remember...look at the cake...and the presents...what is this all spelling out?"

Henri looked around and started to notice all the "Taro" names all over the place and then his eyes went wide and he slapped his face in disbelief. "That was today? Aww...crap..AGUMON!"
"Yes, Professor Jones?" Agumon said, quickly snapping up with a fistful of chips from the chip bowl.
"Its time to go on an adventure! In search for the legendary "Late as a Century Present!"
"Alrighty!" Agumon and said and Henri and his partner quickly ran out the door again with the theme of "Indiana Jones" in the air.

Taylor shook his head in shame.
"The Big Doof." Came out of his mouth.

Chodimon Eyeballed the cake again, and looked at Kotone, with his innocent face.
"Any Icing left Over?" He asked hopefully.

Axle looked down and sighed. He wasn't use to being around this much people, seeing how he wasn;t around much people for more than a month. "Heh..." Axle muttered as Wolfymon growled. "Cake? Come on! Is there any meat for me!" Wolfymon yelled, wimpering. "Wolfymon...this party is for Taro...not you..." Axle said, closing his eyes. "Hi everyone!" Jordan said with a smile as she walked in. Wolfiamon was walking next to her, carrying a present. Jordan was holding two presents as she smiled. "Axle...I found your present for Taro by a bunch of torn up meat..." Jordan said as Axle laughed a little. Axle managed to walk over to Shichiro. "Hey Shich...you still gonna train me...? I keep getting random threat mail..." Axle said, laughing a little.

[Kotone]

Kotone sighed. "Oi..." She looked at Codimon and smiled. "There might be...but Taro will be here soon, so you don't have to wait much longer...but after the party, maybe I'll give you some." She looked at Taylor. "Hey, where's Brittany? I thought she was going to be here...Taro is her boyfriend, after all."

Shichiro smirked. "When you don't have to use those stupid crutches, I'll start training you..." He yawned. "By the way...Roxas isn't coming...she had to do some stuff."

Axle smirked. "I don't need these stupid crutches!" Axle said, throwing the crutches to the ground. Axle began to fall back. "Crap..." Axle said as Wolfymon jumped off his head but Axle landed on his tail. "That's it kid!" Wolfymon yelled, scratching and biting Axle's face. "Hey! Your going to scratch and bite meI'll scratch and bite you back!" Axle yelled, copying Wolfymon. "They have been like this for awhile..." Jordan said, laughing a little.

"I'm not going to do anything, because if I do you two won't learn anything..." Shichiro said, rolling his eyes. He yawned. "Don't you guys get your money and they stuff you inheirted from your relatives, not that Taro is eighteen?"

Kotone nodded. "I'm hoping one of our grandparents left him enough money to get a car....they certianly had enought to. Our grandparents were freaking RICH."

"Then why did you get stuck in a tiny little apartment?" Shichiro asked.

"Mom and Dad were proud." Kotone replied.

Hiakru hurried in. "I called onii-chan, he said he's going to be home in twenty minutes."

Taylor smirked...
"I thought Brittany would've been with Taro."

Chodimon smiled and his eyes rolled up to focus on Taylor.
"Maybe she's getting him a present?"
