Alleluia! The Angel of Hope Takes Flight!

[Kotone]

Kotone stood with her two brothers, her eyes glazed with tears. They stood in front of a statue of two angels, a man and a woman, with their heads bowed in prayer. Below the statue were two name plates. One for Hotaka Inaba, one for Carina Inaba. Below their names, carved into the stone itself, was a saying written in Japanese.

"Happy birthday Mother." Taro said softly. He knelt down and put a single rose on at the angels' feet. He then pulled his two siblings close to him. Hikaru shut his eyes and tears began to roll down his face. Kotone let out a small sob and Taro's eyes were glazed with tears.

Sitting under a tree about twenty feet away were their three digimon. Raionessmon was laying in the branches, feeling rather sorry for her partner. "They really miss them..."

Gaomon and Salamon nodded.

"Salamon hates seeing Hikaru so sad." Salamon said sadly.

Kain quietly snuck past the three, smirking. "Who are those 3 winny little wimps?" Kain asked himself.

[Kotone]

Shichiro recognized them right off the bat. He pulled Kain into the shadows, knowing they wouldn't be seen. "Kotone, Taro, and Hikaru." Great... out of all the tamers it had to bethem! Damn my luck! "Those are their digimon, Raionessmon, Gaomon, and Salamon." He wanted to add that they weren't weaklings, but he held his tongue. "Now, we've got to find a good place for the DigiPort..."

Kain looked around amd scratched his head. "Hm...how about over there..." Kain said, pointing to a a dark evil looking statue.

[Kotone]

Shichiro nodded. "That'll work. Now we have to stay out of sight, so don't do anything stupid."

[Plant99]

"Are ou saying I'm stupid!?!?!?" Kain yelled as he quickly covered his mouth. "Idiot..." Spinmon muttered.

[Kotone]

Shichiro covered Kain's mouth and pulled him into some bushes. "Yes, I'm calling you stupid because you almost got us caught!"

"Who's there?" Gaomon called. "Show yourselves!"

"No one's there, Gaomon." Taro answered wearily. "There are lots of stray dogs and cats around this area. Probably one of them..."

"Well...if we did get caught, I'd push you into somebushes and take the fall...you then come out and act like you're here too defeat me...and I'm not stupid...." Kain muttered as Spinmon rolled his eyes.

[DigitalCreation]

Matt and Marc sat close by... Their digivices in hand.

"They are strong." Matt whispered to his twin brother.

"Stonger than you can Possibly imagine." Marc told him...

The Mercer Bothers watched the Inaba kids from a building not to far.

Marc turned towards the bushes where Schichiro and Kain were.
"Apparenly, We are not the only ones watching over these three."

"Do we prepare for battle?" Matt asked.

"Not now. We wait to see how things play out." Marc told him.

[Kotone]

Shichiro only rolled his eyes. "Just keep a lookout, alright? Make sure we aren't seen. And keep quiet!" With that Shichiro began to activate the DigiPort. When he was done he looked towards Kotone. Good luck... "Come on Kain, we better get out of here. Things are going to get ugly." With that Shichiro led Kain out of the graveyard, praying Kotone and her brothers would be alright.

"You like her..." Kain said, noticing that Shichiro seemed to look at her.

With the digi-port active, an unnatural mist started to form around the entire graveyard, hiding it from the world. People on the streets outside looked in wonder as the fog bank made it invisible to see the graveyard, but, people being people kept on walking and thought it was just a normal fog bank.

Little did they know.

[Kotone]

"Shut up." Shichiro growled. "Now come on!" With that he pulled Kain out of the graveyard and looked back. "Well, we've done our job. Now we sit and wait."

"Taro-" Gaomon began.

"What?" Taro snapped, turning around. His eyes were still glazed with tears.

"Fog." Gaomon said.

"And-oh hell no."

Kain smirked. "What's her name?" Kain asked, smirking.

[Kotone]

"Don't make me strangle you." Shichiro said as he pulled Kain out of the graveyard. He looked behind them. By now the fog was extremely thick and it was almost impossible to see anything, much less the three orphans standing at their parents memorial. Or the horror that would soon come.

"Now lets get out of here." Shichiro said. "I have to go look for Blacky. And get away from here, if I'm caught we're in deep shit."
