In the universe, there exist two plains of reality. The physical plain of matter and cells where the human beings reside. Here, they live in peace with animals and the rest of what they call, "nature". Their lives, are happy. Totally blissful and completely oblivious to the plain of existance that lives parallel to them.

A digital world.

Here, strange and powerful creatures called Digimon (Short for digital monsters) reign supreme. They gain power through battle, and through digivolution, a strange transformation that causes them to change into stronger forms. For years the humans and the Digimon lived seperately, totally unknowing of eachother's existance.

Enter the Digidestend.

A group of young human children gained access to the digital world and befriended the digimon and destroyed the evil Dark Master viruses and finally defeated Apocolimon, the great evil that created the Dark Masters. After them, two other groups took on the title of Digidestined, and each one managed to rid the Digital World of a great evil.

The Real World is still unaware of the Digital World. They live in peace with one another, blissfully unaware of eachother's existance.

Well, most of us are.

Lately, there have been sightings of digimon appearing in the real world. The result has always been great ammounts of chaos, and destruction. This is why the Digital Protection Association (The DPA) was created. It is a government funded organization that trains young recruits to handle a partner digimon and defeat disturbances in the Digimon/Human Peace Alliance. Currently, they are investigating rougue agent Lloyd Xenian and his possable connection to the disturbances in the Alliance. His records are classified and are not disclosed to any Tamers, but they are to be on the look out for this young Tamer.
