The life of the citizens of the Neo Arcadia had changed so much in the past year. It was on this day one year ago that the city had been taken from the hands of its rightful owners, the Neo Arcadian Masters. The masters were hidden right now in the dungeon that been constructed under the city. Only let out at brief intervals of time to help him out with some research or to quell an argument. The Senate and the researchers. The Neo Arcadia had slowly fell into the hands of HerculesKabuterimon and nothing in the city happened without his knowing. Initially HerculesKabuterimon had needed the researchers to help with everything from opening certain doors to other more demanding tasks and while most of his army would not have been able to comprehend HerculesKabuterimon was learning. It would not be long now before he would be able to have the city all to himself and expel the rest of the pathetic ones who remained.

HerculesKabuterimon sat in the room he had made in the main command center. He had a long table for talking with his generals and even putting up celebrations of everything they had accomplished. Although it did not see much use in that respect now. HerculesKabuterimon was alone in the chamber looking over all of the older charts and books he had regarding the two digicores the generals shared. It was the very reason he had come in the first place and now he had the knowlege remaining in the Neo Arcadia was a matter of comfort and territorial expansion. There had been forces from Apollomon especially who were trying to take it but with half of the army to protect it Apollomon wasn't going to lose it.

He had been deep in thought over the last few months on how to conquer more of the surrounding area. It had taken longer than expected for the Neo Arcadia to be ready for him. His chain of thoughts would have continued for a bit longer if it had not been for a Kabuterimon who had knocked and them came into the room. HerculesKabuterimon turned to look at him and then said "Report". Kabuterimon bowed, his wings not even reaching up to HerculesKabuterimon's feet. "General, there is a large number of digimon and a group of humans approaching the city. We don't know exact numbers yet...." said Kabuterimon before he was cut off.

HerculesKabuterimon swiped the air in front of them and then said "Send a small batallion out to intercept and destroy these invaders. do not fail me" he said as he sat down once again. Kabuterimon bowed again before saying "Lord.....there are digimon who have.....digivolved...." and with that he backed away slowly as Kabuterimon raised his head and looked at the smaller digimon. "I see, so.....the time has come for me to defend my city from these invaders. Don't just stand there then. Gather the army. If these humans want a war then I shall give them one" he said as the Kabuterimon turned, bowed once again and then left the room.

"After a long year, the time has come for my to get rid of the survivors of this city" he said to himself as he looked out the window. Strangely he could still not see any mention of this army which was approaching.

Standing the shadows of the chamber was one of the citizens of Neo Arcadia. She had been exiled with a majority of the citizens when it had conquered the previous year. She vividly remembered the battle that she and her digimon partners fought when the insect army had invaded. Despite the valiant fight that they had put up, they were easily overwhelmed. As a result anyone who had resisted the General and his armies had been exiled. Though despite this the young AI vowed to return to the city and liberate it from the insect general. She spent a year wandering the Digital World accumulating allies, once she determined that she had enough to even the advantages that the insect army had, she returned to Neo Arcadia to do some scouting. She moved around the city using one of the six models that were stored in her copy chip, that model being Model P. As she moved around the city, she determined weak points within the ranks of the army, she opened up secret access points within the city that could be used by her allies and she also spied on the General to see what his next plans would be.

The young AI's plan was working perfectly thus far, though she knew that still had to tread carefully. The insect General was far from a foolish, he didn't achieve this level of power by being completely rash (that was the late Apollomon's trait). The General had his own hand of cards to play, he had the Master's, the Senate and the remaining citizens imprisoned with the intent to kill them. He also had the information on the two digital cores that she had given to him a year prior. She didn't doubt that through that scroll he learned more about his own powers, perhaps unlocking more of them. When the time came for her to battle him one last time, careful strategy would be a must.

Everything that the young AI had worked for was now coming to a climax. It was time to execute the next phase of her plan. She knew that her allies were approaching the city through the report that the Kabiterimon had provided. The insect armies were gathering to intercept them, what they didn't know what that the forces had split up, those that were approaching the city were nothing more than a diversion, the main bulk of the forces would be appearing underneath the city, in the sewers and vents that she opened during her scout. As she continued to spy on the insect General, a small smile came to her face.

I'll give you your war she thought to herself You will not like the outcome. Either you will die or I will die but whatever happens it ends here today!

The young AI moved from her hiding place and silently left the chambers, she intended to meet up with Hicks and his unit who would be entering from the sewers. It was there she would meet up with her partners Lumine and Aeolus and finally launch their assault and liberate Neo Arcadia.

In the distance the city of Neo Arcadia was a slight to behold. For several years he had been wanting to forge and alliance with the city, though he had never gotten the opportunity to do so. The opportunity finally presented itself in the form of a young AI that had gotten captured by two of his men. Through the AI an agreement had been reached, he would render his services in liberating the city from HerculesKabuterimon, if she would negotiated an alliance between his company and the city. Now it was time for him to live up to his end of the bargain. In the distance he and his partner Strikedramon watched as the armies of the insect General approached them.

"Drake" said Strikedramon "What are your orders?"
"We fight" said Drake "We have to hold them long enough for Hicks and the other units to infiltrate the city"
"Acknowledged" said Strikedramon. Then the digimon partner turned to the unit "Attack!" he ordered.
A bright light erupted from within the unit, each member evolved their partner and armed themselves, then they proceeded to charge the on-coming armies.

HerculesKabuterimon continued watching out the window as some of the army he controlled gathered around on the ground floor of the Neo Arcadia. He chuckled to himself as he knew that his army was the second largest in the Digital World now due to the deaths of both Apollomon and of Merukimon. He knew that the insects were some of the largest colonies and most of them would bow down and fight for him if he asked. "The citizens are returning, the humans want this city back badly. It is hard to believe it has been over a year" said HerculesKabuterimon as he stalked back and forth while thinking of the battle to come. His army would take care of it but if it came to it then he would get into battle himself.

"Do you think they came here without some sort of plan dear brother" asked a voice that came from the door. HerculesKabuterimon turned nearly ready to stab whoever was there as he did not like being sneaked up on. The last person to do was now data floating in the middle of nothingness. HerculesKabuterimon did not believe his eyes as he looked toward the door. Standing at it was none other than TyrantKabuterimon, his own blood brother. "I thought I banished you brother, I told you to never step foot near my borders again" said HerculesKabuterimon. The machine digmon strolled forward and then smiled at his older brother. It had been years since they had seen each other ever since HerculesKabuterimon banished his metal brother for trying to take his throne. "Don't hate me brother, I am merely here to help you defend your territory, consider it my way of apologizing" said TyrantKabuterimon.

HerculesKabuterimon did not know what to think, but he knew that it would be too dangerous to leave TyrantKabuterimon running around without keeping him under his eyes. "I don't know why your here, but right now I do not care. If you are here to help then help. Don't even think of try to pull anything or else I will kill you this time, blood or not" said HerculesKabuterimon as he motioned toward the door for TyrantKabuterimon to go first. Tyrant bowed slightly and then said "I think this is the beginning of a beautiful partnership" and then moved out the door. He was slowly followed by HerculesKabuterimon who followed him down the stairs.

Akiro was bored stiff of moving toward the Neo Arcadia. It seemed like it had been years since they had begun the immense task of trying to take it back and although there had been plenty of distractions since then he had never once forgotten his role in trying to help Retrace retake her home. Or as thought Retrace viewed it. He could not stop thinking of how many friends he had made and the powerful people he had met. One of them being Drake and Strikedramon. He had only been watching them for a few weeks but what he had seen of them he admired since they seemed to have power and dicipline all in one.

"OK, so were here eventually, I was beginning to get bored and flying doing nothing else" said Koda the Dorumon who put on his usual practiced uncaring face. Akiro smiled slight at him before saying "Don't worry about it, I don't think that this is going to be a day for sitting around and doing nothing. This is going to be a day for action" he said as he looked at the Neo Arcadia and the growing army in the distance. I have to admit I would still have preferred to be on the side going into the Neo Arcadia rather than the distraction" said Akiro. Koda simply stood and then said "Doesn't matter everyone has a job to do if this city is going to be back to where it belongs" said Koda.

Akiro simply smiled at this and then said "Alright, lets concentrate on the here and now, you ready" said Akiro as Koda nodded and then in a flash of light he became Dorugamon, his digivolved form. He let out a growl for being able to strech his wings. Akiro looked at the Neo Arcadia and then thought to himself Its been too long Retrace, where are you.

The sounds of fighting outside the city could be heard within the sewers, The ground lightly vibrated underneath Retrace' feet as she silently made her way towards Hick's unit. So far the plan seemed to be working, though the young AI knew it could only work so long as they were able to keep the main bulk of the army at bay. She that would be impossible if HerculesKabuterimon decided to join the fight, this was the reason she was moving as quickly as she could. The sooner she joined up with Hick's unit, the quicker the other units could join the battle and thus decimate the insect army. After a few minutes she could see the silhouettes of Hicks' unit, it was apparent to the AI that they saw her as well because suddenly there was movement within the ranks. They were starting to get prepared to move out.
"About time you showed" said Hicks "You are five minutes late"
"I apologize Hicks" said Retrace "I remained behind a bit longer to hear HerculesKabuterimon's entire plan. He intends to kill the remaining citizens as soon as this battle is over, that includes the Senate and the Masters"
"That is crazy!" said Lumine "How do they intend to operate the city if they kill the entire population?"
"That is the least of our worries at the moment Lumine" replied Hicks "We need to move now, double time"
Retrace nodded her head and prepared her digivice, meanwhile Hicks activated his radio and issued the command to the other three groups that were hidden within the city. Each team leader acknowledged the order and began to move out. Once that was done, Hicks preceded to issue the command to his own unit and they also began to move out.

When the four units emerged from their hiding spots, they emerged directly behind the insect army. They had been strategically placed where they could effectively cut off each section of the army. For Hicks's unit, they would attack directly at the center of the army. Once emerged Hicks motioned for his unit to evolve their digimon partners. Retrace evolved Lumine and Aeolus to their final forms, Lucemon Holy Dragon Mode and RhodoKnightmon. Once the evolutions had been completed all four units launched their attacks at the army.

Meanwhile outside the city Drake and his partner now in the form of Justimon pressed their attack against the insect army. Hicks and the other units appeared to be late in their role in this battle. For a moment Drake was considered that they had been caught before they could even execute their plan. Then all of a sudden he saw a humanoid form leap in the air, and then dive in killing an Kabuterimon. It was Retrace (still in her Model P form). A small smile form on his face.

"That's my girl"
"Sorry we are late Drake" came Hick's voice over the radio "Retrace learned some disturbing news while scouting. It seems that HerculesKabuterimon intends to kill the rest of the citizens."

Drake's smile faded in to scowl. If the insect general played his cards just right then the invasion of the city could be ended as quickly as it started. The only way they could succeed is to essentially decimate the entire army, leave the general with nothing to negotiate with.

"Keep attack" said Drake "Attack with everything you got, understand?"
"Acknowledged" said Hicks.

Justimon looked over at his partner, who just nodded his head. The two leaders of the Metru Company pressed their attack against HerculesKabuterimon's army.

HerculesKabuterimon continued watching outside the window as he observed the entire battle from above. His grunts would take care of the light work, and if needed he would take care of what was left. He would be able to handle most of them no problem. Not many digimon could stand against him. And of those that could none of them were here. HerculesKabuterimon's eyes narrowed as he seen the arrival of the army from within "his" own walls. They seemed to be attacking in several different groups. "Apes....." he said under his own breath. It echoed the human saying of "insects". He never understood how this came around, looking at himself and the other insect digimon they were far from powerless.

"How goes the battle brother?" asked TyrantKabuterimon as he stood next to his brother and observed what was going on. It seemed like the insect army was finally getting into position to fight back. The surprise had took them back a little but they were extremely large in number and would not fall easily. "It goes as it should, the humans and their abominations will be killed" he said quite confidentally.

Down below several champion and ultimate digimon were getting destroyed and beaten by the humans and their digimon. The battle had taken on a rocky start for them but whatever advantage that the brief surprise had granted them was now used up. It was a fight now. Several of the more powerful digimon had squared down Lucemon and RhodoKnightmon to take them on. Being the more powerful digimon in the insect army. Five MetallifeKuwagamon surrounded the two digimon and paced in exact timing with each other. It was almost like they were five echoes of the same digimon.

"Homing Laser" they all said in unison as they fired upon the two large digimon. The other digimon in the army were centred on taking down the other humans and their digimon partners.

"Cannon Ball" roared Koda the Dorugamon as he shot a hole through several Kabuterimon ripping their data clean off their bodies and dissolving them into nothing. Koda was like a demon on the battlefield. Destroying any champion digimon that got in his way. He left most of the ultimate digmon to the other digimon since even with his power he was no match for them. He also had to keep a closer eye on his human Akiro also since he didn't have much ways to defend himself. As much as he liked humans this little part of them left him annoyed.

The insect army, the smaller part that had went outside to intercept the diversion outside. The battle was quite even despite the biomerged digimon they had on their side. Two MetalKabuterimon who were speeding across the ground charged toward Justimon. They continually shot powerful blasts of energy toward Justimon intending to clip him.

Grey had been slightly taken aback that the insect army had recovered quickly from the surprise attack, however she didn't let this development dampen her resolve to exile the insect army from Neo Arcadia. She activated her copy chip and activated the Model F form, her form changed from a ninja to a buster wielding fighter. Detaching both "Knuckle Busters" from her back she charged then and took aim into the air and unleashed a barrage of fire balls on the insects. Even if it were to miss them, the projectiles would rain down on the battle field leaving behind hazards on the field of battle. Grey knew that insects and fire didn't mix, it was usually a volatile mixture. A small smile formed on her face, she took took aim and several insects in the distance and fired.

The two digimon flinched at the barrage of lasers that were fired off, though they shook off the damage that they had recieved and cast quick glances at each other. This ensuing battle was almost reminiscence of their previous battle within Neo Arcadia.

Almost.

They were no longer digimon weakened from the constant leaping of realities. They had undergone training during their time employed at the Metru company. They were now formative adversaries, capable of holding their on in battle against the generals and their armies. Lumine nodded his head at Aeolus, who then proceeded to attack the MetallifeKuwangamon.

"Spiral Masquerade"

RhodoKnightmon began to move at supersonic speed, he proceeded to cut and slash the surrounding digimon with the ribbons on his armor. Once he was done he leaped out the vicinity as Lumine began to glow.

"Nice try bastards" said Lumine "Try this out for size...Breath of the Guardian"

Lumine fired off a golden laser beam at one of the MetallifeKuwangamon. Upon impact it created a massive explosion that surrounded a small region of the battle field.

Meanwhile on the other side of the battlefield Drake and Justimon found themselves fighting off two MetalKabuterimon. The two metallic insects were determined to inflict damage on them. Drake had to applaud them for their determination, however there was one that that he noticed that they lacked and that was conviction. He knew that if their leader was defeated they would most likely disperse back to their homeland. Of course this was easier said than done, HerculesKabuterimon was one of the five generals thus he wouldn't be easy to defeat. Drake realized though that if he and his army defeated enough of the insect general's army then HerculesKabuterimon would most likely appear on the field and attempt to end the battle as soon as possible. If that did happen then the window of opportunity to defeat the general would be small. Of course Drake realized that time wouldn't be an issue, as soon as Grey saw him she would attempt to defeat, what concerned him the most was power. Of the course of the year Grey and her partners had become more powerful under his tutelage, however he was concerned that it wouldn't be enough. Drake shook his head, banishing such thoughts from his mind for the moment. He looked back the the MetalKabuterimon and growled.

"Switch arms" he ordered to Justimon.
"With pleasure" said Justimon.

Justimon's left arm glowed, the data reorganized itself until he was now equipped with the Critical Arm"

"Critical Arm"

Justimon slammed his fist into the ground causing the ground to rupture underneath the MetalKabuterimon. A small smile formed on Drake's face, then he looked around the battle field. He saw the new kid, Akiro and his partner digimon Dorugamon fighting off some champion level digimon. The two were doing alright, however they could be doing better, especially since the partner digimon was only at the champion level. Drake pulled one of his side arms off his belt and proceed over to Akiro.

"Here kid" he said handing over the side arm. "Show them what you can do"

Detaching his other side arm, Drake joined Justimon in battling the relentless insect army.

The MetallifeKuwagamon that had sorrounded both Aeolus and Lumine. They watched carefully as their attacks connected. They did not expect the result to be as it was though. The leader of the MetallifeKuwagamon had managed to get out the way of the carnage that had followed when his four team mates had gotten annialiated with the attacks of the two titanic digimon. A dragon and a knight always made a lethal combonation.

"You shall die here today, pet human digimon" he said as he pointed to them and then extending his arms he absorbed the data that had flown out when his comrades were destroyed. He absorbed it into himself and then in a flash of light he became his ultimate form GrandisKuwagamon. This form was much bigger than he was before with black armor and four large blades on his back. He was now much tougher. "Grandis Scissors" he roared as his blades in his arms grew and he flew straight toward Lumine intending to impale her.

Akiro watched as Koda shot another metal ball through a Kuwagamon. It seemed like there was a never ending line of them, as soon as one was killed and in data bits one more would come to replace it. Never-ending line. Koda seemed to be tiring very slightly. It was not due to any fault of his own, he was just not used to using his maximum power for long periods of time. "Koda, come on I think it's time we get you powered up" said Akiro as he looked at his Ic and then using the power of his Digisoul within his hand he looked at Koda.

"I'm ready" said Koda as he took a step back to his human partner. Akiro used his hand and struck the Ic and then roared "Digisoul, Full Charge" and in a flash of red Koda became nearly three times as big as he was before, a mammoth now. Akiro climbed onto DoruGreymon and he took to the sky. However he seen something coming toward him, it was Justimon. The biomerged digimon of Drake and Strikedramon. It was awesome. He wondered what might happen if he could biomerge with Koda. "Thanks man" he said as he looked at the sidearm. It was a gun, that was clear but it didn't look especially powerful against the digimon they were fighting.

However Akiro shot a blast at a Kabuterimon that was headed toward them. He pressed the trigger and unleashed a bolt of energy that shot the Kabuterimon and injured it enough that it fell from the sky. Akiro looked at the gun again and then whistled. "Thanks this will come in very handy" he said. At this Koda said "Were moving, pay attention" and with that he flapped his large wings creating a large gust and shot another ball of metal from his mouth. Much larger than anything before. He followed that by impaling a few digimon on his spike. This was going to be a bloody match.

"You are going to die human" said HerculesKabuterimon as he used took his gigantic claw and put it through the table in the center of the room. It was obvious that HerculesKabuterimon's army was losing now or at least being driven back. He might have had the advantage with numbers but when it came to sheer power he had underestimated the power the humans had with their digimon. It wasn't for nothing that most humans in the digital world were regarded as miracle workers.

"Brother, allow me to enter the battle I'll help to finish this battle faster than your pathetic army can?" said TyrantKabuterimon as he put his metal claw on the shoulder of his brother.

HerculesKabuterimon considered this for a second, it was obvious that he would be less trouble in battle unless he assisted the invaders. In which case he would put his brother to death this time. "Go then brother and make me proud. If we win this day then you shall have your rightful place at my side when I rule this world" he said as he shook his brother's hand.

At this TyrantKabuterimon nodded and then looking out the window he smashed the wall with his claws and then jumped out. Not even bothering to flap his wings, he simply fell to the ground from the floor his brother was on.

When he landed he made a small crater, as well as landing on several freedom fighters. He immediatly roared and shouted "Shine of Bee" and his body began glowing and then unleashed a bolt of red energy. It was obvious that the digimon was stronger than his bretherin on the ground. "Come at me, invaders for you will die this day" he said making it sound like a threat and also cheesy.

OOC: Here is something for future reference Wolf. For starters I decided to give my digimon some nicknames after two years. Lumine=Lucemon and Aeolus=Kotemon. As you know from earlier Rps that both digimon are male. For some reason you stated in your post that Lumine is female, I think that was a typo on your part but if not then at least you know. Secondly, I took a different route with Justimon that was seen in Digimon: Tamers. Justimon and Drake are two separate entities on the battle field, meaning they are not bio-merged. You don't have edit your post unless you want to, I just thought I would point those out to avoid any confusion in the future.

"They never give up do they?" said Lumine as the he watched the GandisKuwagamon dive in attempting to impale him. He continued to observe waiting for the right moment, once it was only a few meters from him Lumine channeled his powers:

"God Shield" he cried.

A golden shield surrounded the golden dragon, it deflected GandisKuwagamon's attack.

"Allow me brother" said Rhodoknightmon observing the perfect opportunity to strike. "Spiral Masquerade." Rhodoknightmon became a blur to the eye and proceeded to slash the insect digimon with the ribbons on it's body.

Meanwhile on the other side of the battle field Grey found herself in a tough fight with some Beetlemon. The insect digimon had her surrounded, though despite the fact that they had her surrounded they found that they couldn't defeat thus forcing a stalemate between the Neo Arcadian AI. Grey observed them communicating with each other, though she didn't quite understand what they were communicating she understood to an extent that they were attempting a new strategy. She knew that she would have to think quickly if she was going to counter it. A sudden explosion on the battlefield diverted the attention of her and the Beetlemon. A huge blue insect had entered the battlefield. Grey knew it wasn't HerculesKabuterimon but something that was of equal power.

"TyrantKabuterimon" clicked the Beetlemon fearfully.
"Thought he was banished" clicked one Beetlemon.
"Thought wrong" clicked another one "Brother must of allowed him back"
"Flee" clicked the Beetlemon together.

Grey watched as the Beetlemon flew off, then she turned her attention back to TyrantKabuterimon. From what she was able to gather from the Beetlemon, it seemed that TyrantKabuterimon was the brother of HerculesKabuterimon who had been banished for some reason. She assumed that since they were brothers that perhaps TyrantKabuterimon had tried to overthrow the insect overlord but failed. If that was the case then why appear now in the midst of this battle. That she could answer, though she hypothesized that perhaps he was attempting to overthrow HerculesKabuterimon again, though in a more subtle matter. However if that was the case then why not encourage his brother to join the battle and then attack him once he was weakened? Grey shook her head, she could go on with the questions but never arrive at a conclusion, also this wasn't the time or place for such things. All she knew was that she needed to get the Insect General on the battlefield, perhaps defeating TyrantKabuterimon was the way to do it. It was certainly worth a shot, she activated her copy chip and transformed in to Model H. She adjusted the thruster pack and took to the skies. She signaled to her partners who proceeded to follow their tamer towards TyrantKabuterimon.

Justimon and Drake also continued to fight their way through the endless hordes of insects. As Drake fired off his side-arm blaster at a Flymon, the sounds of an explosion also caught his attention. Justimon and him looked towards the source of the sound.

"Bloody hell" said Drake "What is that?"
"Tyrant...Tyrant" said some of the insects fearfully.
"Tyrant?" said Drake confused.
"TyrantKabuterimon" replied Snimon "Banished by his brother HerculesKabutermon after he tried to take over the kingdom."
"Interesting" said Drake

Drake mused over why the banished insect had suddenly reappeared, though he didn't have much time before he saw a green streak fly acrossed the sky followed by Lumaine and Aeolus. Grey had decided to engage the rouge insect, he immediate activated his comm and contacted Call.

Drake had ordered Call and her partner Falcomon to remain behind at the Metru company so they could keep track of real-time footage of the battle, mainly keep track of all the units, though it was times like these it was useful to keep track of unknown entities like TyrantKabuterimon.

"Call" said Drake "Get Hicks and Hudson on the comm and tell them I need their assistance. I am going to aid Grey in her battle with TyrantKabuterimon."
"On it" said Call.

Drake turned to Justimon who merely nodded, he lowered himself so Drake could climb on to him and then the two proceeded towards the new arrival TyrantKabuterimon.
