History

The Fire Platoon was formed from their leader Apollomon when he digivolved to his mega form. Being one of the youngest and most “hot headed” of any of the generals they are always looking for a good fight. The Fire Platoon gathered many followers mostly fire based but some from other elements. He slowly built the Fire Platoon up to what it was today and now takes up residence within the old hideout of the older generation of the Olympus Twelve.

The army mostly concentrates on defending its own borders and trying to take surrounding territory. This has sparked a fierce rivalry with BlackImperialdramon whom Apollomon considers a worthy rival but also one of his greatest threats. However unlike with any digimon Apollomon has an absolute hatred for any humans and their digimon. This is mostly due to his fear and envy of their power of digivolution. It is also due to their affiliation with keeping the peace of the digital world (mostly) as opposed to what he seeks to conquer.

To date the Fire Platoon has not spread their borders beyond Mt. Olympus but this has not stopped them from trying as they have had recent skirmishes with both GranKuwagamon and BlackImperialdramon. They have also been responsible, though not proven to be behind attacks on unsuspecting digidestined and tamers.

Members

The Fire Platoon is especially affiliated with the element of fire and most of their foot soldiers are of this element but they do have other members who are dragons and even water.
