Mike liked Kite's spirit, not afraid to stand up to anyone or anything but at the same time not completely stupid to let his guard down as he had seen in the fight from the very moment he and Kudamon arrived. "Indeed though it wouldn't have hurt you to be a bit more careful, if those guys chased you it would have been better to keep on running" he said to them both. He knew that they would probably not have but he wouldn't have liked anything to happen to them. "Well it is over and done with now and nobody was harmed except for the Goblimon who now has a very sore side" said Kudamon wanting to put a break into it. "Its quite amazing how fate has intertwined us like this. You and I maybe the only people in this world who fully remember who we are and where we came from" he said in a bit of sorrow. It was quite amazing that Max did it must have meant that he was destined for something else. "Your digieggs vanished, you mean the legendary digieggs that allow armor digivolvolution for certain digimon....." said Kudamon as he eyes up Kite. ".....And let me guess you are one of these digimon" he said as he began to get a rough idea on the powerful group that Mike had once known.

"Well enough of the past, now lets concentrate on the here and now. Max you need questions answered and I shall help you. I am looking for help to defeat a powerful set of digimon known as the generals. You see each of these generals is a powerful mega digimon each with their own army and own domain over the digital world" said Mike. Kudamon jumped in with "The general of fire, Apollomon, he is hotheaded and reckless but also very powerful and dangerous, Dorbickmon, not much is known about him but he is the master of darkness and has all sorts of shadow powers" he said. "HerculesKabuterimon is incredibly egotistic but also very crafty and powerful, he is a insect general. The Dragon general BlackImperidramon. He was once good but his hatred and distrust of outsiders blinded him and corrupted him he controls many powerful dragon digimon" said Kudamon. "The last general is Merukimon, he is slightly different. He is wise and powerful but not corrupted like hate like the others" he finished trying to give Max time to digest it.

Kite smiled "Don't worry Mike, we ain't stupid. We know what to do if something goes wrong. But still, they were Goblimon... nothing I couldn't have handled as I am now." he said, earning a reproachful sake of the head from Max before the human turned back to Mike to give his thought on what he had just heard.

"I see - more organised but, still quite chaotic" Max commented, reflecting on the explanation of the generals. "This Merukimon - I'm garnering from your explanation that he isn't like the rest, not 'corrupted by hate' as you said. So is he the one to rally with... or are the digidestined seperate from these factions?" Max asked, looking between Kudamon and Mike. Kite meanwhile turned to what Kudamon said - "Yup, I'm one of them. The armor eggs give me an alternative to regular digivolution. Useful, as the concept still evades me." Kite said, shrugging before turning back to Max who was still in thought. "You said about us two being the only ones to remember everything? I can understand you, but not me. Maybe there are others who do and you just haven't found them. I can't imagine everyone just losing memories of all that happened." Max said, the new information he had been given whirling around his head. It seemed already that it was too much to process and focus on, letalone see in physical reality. "So... with everything changing, is that what has happened here. With Kudamon." Kite said, waving a hand at the digimon.

"Apollomon, Dorbickmon, MegaKabuterimon, BlackImperialdramon and Merukimon... four corrupted and one wise digimon, but all vying for power. But you said that this town isn't under the control of everyone - so that must mean their reach musn't be all over the digital world." Max said, before another thought hit him - his memory jogging from when he and Kite had talked earlier. "What about the human world? Has that changed as well, do the people there remember those from before all of this changed?" Max asked.

Mike looked as if an arrow had been struck through his heart when he heard both about the digimon problem and about the human world. Both had more or less been taken away from him as Kudamon knew what was about to come. Mike sat for a few seconds as he breathed a little heavier. "I wish that this world had let me forget everything.....because it has taken more or less everything away from me anyway" he said looking rather angry now. Kudamon came off his shoulder and then started explaining. "Mike here did have a former partner when he came to this world but other than saying that he chose to leave he has not said anything more than that" he said. Kudamon did not know what had happened either. "As for.....the real world, everything has changed now". He took another breath and continued. "I went to see my parents and sister......and in this timeline I was killed in my first ever battle here.....I'm.....I'm living someone else's life. They thought I was some kind of sick joke" he said as he remembered going to see his own gravestone.

Mike got up and then looking rather angry said "So.....you can understand why I am not exactly totally thrilled about this. If I ever find the one responsible then I will tear him limb from limb" he said. He looked at the ground and then hoped it would never come up again. "Merukimon is a much better digimon than most but Imperialdramon isn't inheritly evil either. He swears binding oaths from digidestined that willingly join him and the penalty being death. Merukimon openly harbors any digidestined but the others.....they don't" he said. "You are a lot more important than you realise and in time that will become clear but in order to resist temptation you need your power back. We need to find your digieggs" he said. Kudamon looked quite happy at this as he wanted to see an armor digivolution himself.

Max didn't know what to say to what Mike told them - it seemed both the human world and the digital world had changed; but he had no idea how far that extended until he heard Mike's story. He felt sorry for the other human, but he knew not to press further for information. Mike had given them more than he had wanted, he knew now what the situation was, and honestly, he didn't know what to do with the information. "Yeah, I understand... I'm interested to know who is behind this myself. But between then and now, I guess - heck, I don't know." Max said, looking towards Kite, who shrugged in return; even he had been shocked into silence by Mike's story. Listening to what Mike explained about the generals, Max nodded mutely, closing his eyes when BlackImperialdramon's oaths and such... whilst he had no problem holding to an oath - he did not like the sound of being part of some war for control. Merukimon was the only one that sounded a viable option to him, and even then; he was still unsure. Only Mike's words on reclaiming their digieggs gave Max something to talk on. "That would have been our eventual target, I guess it has to be moved up the list after learning all that is going on" Max said.

"I think we best go, whether together or on our own. This isn't the place to discuss these things. Not the most straight digimon living in this town." Kite said, looking at the other three. "I guess we're going with the plan of reclaiming the digi-eggs then. I guess if you came here looking for allies Mike, you've found some. Not much help we can do, but we're back in this." Kite said. "Does anyone know where to start looking for these digieggs... I mean, what's to say they haven't already been claimed by someone else. Things have changed, that could just be another one." Kite asked, before moving forwards - past Mike and Kudamon to stand in the alleyway. He stopped to glance down the path into the street. "I'm guesing had our fight drawn anymore Goblimon to the area, they would be here by now so I guess we won't have to wade through the masses to leave." Kite observed, turning to look back at the others.

Mike was glad that Max seemed to have a good grasp of what was happening now after just one short explanation and that he was considering what to do. "Don't ever make allegiance to anyone unless you intend to commit yourself to that cause and go through with it forever because nobody gives up digidestined willingly. You could say were a bit of currency here" he said. "Digidestined give digimon the power to digivolve and that is valuable in this war, don't get mixed up with the wrong person otherwise you might end up giving more power to those who might use it for evil" he said as he finished his small narrative. They continued walking thorough the town careful to avoid anyone who would try to attack them which could have been anyone for as much as they knew.

"I am glad that we get to go together one more time at least for now. We will help you reclaim the digieggs and then take you to see someone that may be able to help you" he said as he considered what else to say. "Your digieggs could be anywhere in the digital world but whayever element they are might help us determine the actual location" he said struggling to remember which digieggs Max had and what he had lost.

As they walked out of the borough, Max turned to nod at Mike, paying attention to what he said on not swearing any oathes to anyone he didn't fully believe. His face remained solemn when Mike told them how useful the digidestineds were to the generals and he nodded at what was said about accidentally helping an evil force. "I'll do my best. I won't be helping such forces, anytime or anywhere." Max said, the four now reaching the outer borders of the borough. Kite was watching the discussion between the other three with wide eyes and a slightly open mouth - taken aback by all that had happened. He was still having trouble accepting it all and he only shook himself from this reverie when Mike mentioned on a clue for the locale to one of the armor eggs. Both human and digimon thought on the digimon Flamedramon - the digimon Kite became when armor digivolved with the digiegg of Courage, and began thinking of locales that would match him or his element.

"Fire... that must be our clue. If I remember correctly, the digiegg of Courage has a flame motif, just like Flamedramon's armor. That means... I think - if it is still there, if it still exists here, in this reality. I think I know where the egg might be." Max said, looking down at Kite who seemed taken aback by this sudden interest. "Well, spit it out Max... where is it?" Kite asked. "Magma Falls... where we used to go and train. That seems to fit the description. Heck, we went there so you could get used to not having to use your fire attacks." Max said, noting his digimon's change of expression. Kite had not liked those experiences and had developed a hatred for the area unlike any other he had with the other areas of the digital world. He gave a small sigh before folding his arms and closing his eyes. "Are you sure that there isn't some other place it could be." he asked, a desperate edge to his voice. Already reaching into his pocket for his D3, Max ignored his digimon as he pressed the buttons and focused on the interface. "If the falls are still where they used to be. I think we could get to them within a certain distance." Max said, still looking down at his digivice. Resigning himself to the fact they would have to go to the hated place, Kite shook his head again - "We are never going back to that place again, after this. And if this egg isn't there, I'll..." Kite murmured, pointing at Max before he was cut off by his tamer turning to Mike. "We should get going, its a good thing it is a familiar place." Max said, turning away and walking from the group. Only giving a small disgruntled noise, Kite shook his head before following in his partner's footsteps.
