The Trade Network
The Dark Sovereign
The Dark Sovereign is the title given to the head of the entire Trade Network. Currently there have been three Dark Sovereign since the channeling began. The Dark Sovereign has complete control of the operations but he/she is not given
complete control of the entire Network.
-1st Dark Sovereign: Currently Unknown to the public of the Digital World
-2nd Dark Sovereign: Magnus & ???
-3rd Dark Sovereign (Current): Talon & Baalmon
The first caste of System Lords were established by the original Dark Sovereign in order to form a council of advisors to assist in executing operations within the digital world. Their role slightly has changed through the years since the Network continued to expand. The System Lords were given certain areas/districts within the Digital City-State and capital of the Trade Network, Heliopolis, to manage and maintain all aspects of the trade under the name of the Sovereign. The Lords became more than just advisors but Lieutenants within the Organization's regime.
1st Generation System Lords:
These Programs were originally created by the First Dark Sovereign as advisors of his Trade Network in it's early stages. As time and the city of Heliopolis progressed so did the strategies and tactical solutions of the System Lords, thus the takeover of other underground channels began in other cities of the digital world all right under the nose of the Elders and the Generals.
2nd Generation System Lords:
After Magnus overthrew the original Dark Sovereign by having others believe he would take the Trade Network into a whole new era, The System Lords were the first to retaliate and as a result a premeditated caste was formed by Magnus incase the System Lords would rebel. And as a result Magnus' and his new Lieutenants began their inevitable campaign. Heliopolis was turned into a political standpoint against the Elders. It was the first time in the Organization's history that they would form an alliance with a General especially a very dangerous one, Apollomon. Magnus and his System Lords were not as powerful as their predecessors but learned from their mistakes. This is when the Trade Network formed it's digital-military aswell as the rise of the DarkDigidestined.
3rd Generation System Lords:
After Talon's sabotage over his mentor Magnus, The 2nd Generation System Lords were over powered by the DarkDigidestined and their newly granted System Lords. Talon's reign came with much controversy for the first time a Digimon was chosen to become a System Lord. This caused much uproar within the Network and many questioned the actions of the new Sovereign. The defiance was quickly silenced when Talon began to rapidly expand the Network's operations beyond what Magnus was capable of. Despite burning his bridge with Apollomon Talon struck unbelievable deals with Digimon and underground channels all across the Digital World. Some were even made it public just to annoy the Elders and the Alliances showing off that they were untouchable because of the Trade Network's assests, or so they thought. Talon's System Lords were much more aggressive and brutal than the generations before them but behind the scenes there was always arguments and how most of the time they all refused to see eye to eye especially with the Piedmon, who Talon had brought in from outside the Network. Trust has always been a major issue in Talon's staff especially since the individual districts and satellite areas are beginning to grow even stronger beyond Talon's expectations, but despite the tension the Talon's Trade Network and it's System Lords have been on a constant watch ever since the Jack of All Trades rose to power.
