Lance Augusta stood out there in the desert. He stood there watching the gathering armies of the Blood Knights which were a good kilometre away from where he stood on the flat area. Right now, the sky was in chaos and turmoil as thunder and lightning flashed across the area. The portals were now awakened and generating near the center of the area. He wasn't sure what it was but it did have to do with this entire war to begin with. And whatever it was that was about to be unleashed, Lance knew that he had to stop it. He sighed heavily, feeling quite saddened almost. The war had taken its toll and heroes were dieing everywhere he went to or just lost hope. But today, that would hopefully change, for him.

Guilmon, Lance's companion and friend stood there at his side. The red dinosaur seemed to look across the field with a sense of focus and not anger or frustration or even despair and fear. He merely kept a serious look on his face as he looked towards that army. Lance could tell that Guilmon felt determination, determination to stop this madness at its heart. And that's exactly why they were here.

Lance remembered how it had come to this. Prior to arriving at the resistance base, He and Kiara and their partners had hopped off Aegisdramon and were taken through a long alleyway that was extremely large. Cecilia, Vandar and Skull lead them to an elevator that they then took to what was a small metropolis. The city was above ground but according to Cecilia, obscured. Through this they then were brought to a large building in the center of the city. All this time there were Tamers and Digimon on the move, wearing their own gear, prepared for battle.

Inside this particular building which was a large dome-shaped building, there was a large laboratory with cables and computers around the place with one large screen in the middle.
"Ok, I think now we can get down to the nitty gritty." Said Cecilia.
"So who are you guys exactly?" Asked Lance.
"We are known as "The Eternal Zeal", a faction of tamers and Digimon who are all veterans in the field. We are devoted to stopping the blood knights which we've been trying to do for years. However as you can tell clearly the blood knights are smarter than you might imagine. They've been causing a war on all fronts and one that we are going to stop." Replied Vandar.
Skull then spoke up. "The Blood Knights main leader Crimson is hunting for something along with the other two leaders Analogman and Chaos Lord. We don't know what it is but we do know that it involves those four massive portals that have been seen at certain locations. Their unleashing matter that is very similar to the properties seen in the virus that is infecting Digimon. They are doing this in the desert. See this." And Skull immediately tapped onto a nearby computer which showed an image of a huge gaping hole in the desert. Blood Knights were gathered around it too.

Lance could not believe his eyes when he saw this. Nor could Guilmon. VictoryGreymon who was not too far away spoke up, "There's something else you should know, this hole and these portals are causing catastrophic effects all around the Digital World. It's off-balancing the areas as well as terraforming other areas."
Lance stood there for one minute and began to think, "What are we going to do?"
Cecilia then spoke, "We know that whatever the Blood Knights are unleashing it's going to cause a lot of problems in the long run. We've got to go in with full-scale attack and try to prevent this doomsday event."
GrandisKuwagamon then spoke, "That's why we've been trying to contact any Royal Knights we could find. Lance, you and Kiara are our last chance of stopping this. Not even Alphamon can save us. He rules with an iron fist and Omnimon has completely disappeared off the grid as well as many of the other Royal Knights. Lance, Kiara, Xander and Guilmon, we need your help."

Kiara sat on Xander in Duftmon Leopard mode. The pair were a little bit away from Lance and Guilmon watching the armies gather. Kiara could feel her partner twitch beneath her, ready for the moment they struck. She had dropped her ASF gear for this fight, choosing to wear simpler clothing with a leather vest over a long white shirt, simple pants and flexible boots as well as leather gloves. She held up one of her gloved hands and allowed Freyja, Valkryimon's golden falcon, to land on her fist.

"All intelligence reports have been confirmed." The falcon stated gripping nervously on Kiara's arm. "As expected," Kiara replied, "They want to take advantage of the reality merger before they get lost in it. Tell Valkryimon to be at the ready, we've only got one chance at this." She instructed before launching the falcon into the sky back to it's owner. As she watched falcon fly off she remembered the fateful meeting that had brought them to this.

"How exactly are we going to help?" Kiara asked, a little suspicious, especially since they were trusting her and not her own commander. "And are you sure you even have enough troops to take this on? We can contact more Knights and get you more back up if we have the time." She suggested. At her side Xander glared on, watching their movements for any sign of deception.

Lance sighed once more and Guilmon this time looked at him rather concerned. "Lance, why are you sad?"
Lance looked back to his friend and said, "Because I'm scared."
Guilmon then replied, "Scared? Of what? Lance it's the end of the world, you may as well enjoy it in case we die. That's what I'm doing."
Lance did grunt in an amused tone. It was true, it did seem like the end of the world but, did it have to come so soon?
"You know that the Digital World won't be the same regardless of what we do right?"
Guilmon nodded, "The effects may be reversed but I am sure something is going to change."
"Well see that's what I'm afraid of Guilmon, I don't want to change, I want things to return to normal. I want peace restored." He then turned to Kiara, "I'm worried that it may change a lot of things."

Cecilia smiled, "We will be providing support with our manpower. But our numbers don't match the Blood Knights by any stretch. However if you do have knights you can contact do so." And then she turned to Xandar, "Bring our friend in."
Vandar then pressed a button on his special device on his wrist and spoke to it briefly and said, "It's also the reason why we contacted a friend of ours to come to us. Lance and Guilmon would be very familiar with him."

Before Lance could ask who it was, the doorway they had entered through opened up to reveal the large form that was MasterTyrannomon, standing there. He smiled before saying, "Hello friends."

All good? Xander thought towards her partner as he shook her out of her memories. "I'm fine Xander, we need to focus. Things are going to be very, very crazy soon," She replied. They were far enough away from Lance not be hear him as he talked to his partner. "No matter what we do, things are going to be very different after fight."

Xander nodded an looked ahead, "You're right, we just have to make sure that whatever happens we'll be willing to live in it." Kiara nodded and looked over at Lance just as he looked over at her. They locked eyes for a moment before Kiara smiled once and then frowned, turning her head forward. They were the only Knights on the field, since none of the knights Kiara was in contact with could be completely trusted to not go to Talon and Lance's contacts had gone underground. "Let's just live through this and worry about afterwards if we survive," Kiara replied.

Kiara looked upwards as MasterTyrannomon entered. She had heard of the Digimon but had not had many direct dealings with him. "Hello Sir." She turned towards Cecilia with the first real smile she'd directed towards any of the Eternal Zeal. "Just what did you guys have in mind?"

Lance looked smiled back at Kiara and then said, "One moment Guilmon." He then walked over to Kiara on Xander's back, "Hey Kiara, I suppose this would be the part where I'm supposed to say "try not to get hurt out there." or, "be safe out there okay?" or "come back in one piece." But I won't because it sounds way too corny or cliche and more to the point I'm confident you'll be fine. But would it be wrong of me to say that I..." He paused before choosing his words a bit. And then a humorous thought came to him. "...That I would like to take you out on a date after this is over?" Sure it seemed a little unorthodox but in any event, this was probably the best time to say last words before he forgot or was too late.

"Master Tyranno! What are you doing here?" Said Lance with joy. Guilmon bowed before his mentor.
"The Dino Ruins was under attack by the Thrones. They managed to take the region and activate a portal lying there. I got out with as many of the inhabitants as I could. There may still be survivors there but otherwise the Dino Ruins is a very deserted place, devoid of a lot life. I then met up with Vandar who brought me here with my people. Another thing you two should know is that I'm not just the mentor you know and love either. I'm also an associate of the Eternal Zeal and have always held them in high regard too."
"So what are you going to do now MasterTyrannomon?" Asked Guilmon,
"Guilmon I am not here to just stay for a vacation. No I'm also going to be coming to this fight. I'm also bringing with me as many troops as I can muster. I've also got a few other tricks up my sleeve."
Lance and Guilmon grinned, things were definately looking good.
Cecilia then replied, "In answer to your question Kiara, we are going to use the best weapon we have. A very powerful Dragon Digimon that is very ancient and has also been our protector. He will be taking part in the battle too." She said.

Kiara looked down as Lance walked over and started talking. She slid off of Xander's back and let him finish. Then she grabbed his head and kissed him as hard as she could. Truth be told, she was afraid to answer because she didn't know what was going to happen next. After the kiss she jumped back onto Xander and looked down at him. "I'd like that." At that exact moment Frejya streaked across the front line, screaming as he dove.

That was the signal that she and her team had been waiting for. Kiara and Xander were leading the first assault and setting the field for the real attack. With the distraction of the aerial forces and a squadron of unique Sealsdramon, with white and gray armor indoctrined into the Eternal Zeal. With any luck the enemy would be given enough trouble to momentarily to keep them safe. "I'll see you when this is over, good bye Lance."

At that moment Xander growled, "Conquest," and detonated the energy land mines he had planted before the blood knights had begun to gather. In the chaos Xander and Kiara shot into towards the enemy's line, attacking with Blockade to move quickly enough to avoid the first round of attacks. The Sealsdramon ran forward and attacked the wounded blood allies, finishing the job while those digimon in the sky opened fire. The field had to be prepared for the real battle and this was the team to set up the board.

"An ancient dragon?" Xander asked, suddenly very, very interested. Dragon digimon had always been some of the most powerful digimon in the digital world and there were more then a few that Cecilia could be talking about. At Xander's side Kiara nodded simply, but didn't ask further. At that moment Valkryimon was lead inside by a pair of digimon allied with the Eternal Zeal, Kiara and Xander smiled and nodded in recognition as Valkryimon stood beside them.

"If this is all going to work, we'll need a plan to do it right," Kiara said, her mind already racing. "What kind of intelligence do you have?" She asked as she approached the map on the wall.

Lance stopped for a moment and almost went into a dreamy trance. "Maybe there's still hope after all." Without thinking too much of it he yelled out "I love you Kiara!!!" Before turning his attention back to the armies. MasterTyrannomon had just arrived with his attack force of Digimon. The Eternal Zeal had also arrived. The Eternal Zeal itself consisted of Vaccine, Data and Virus digimon all with their own colour of the attribute they were part of along with Tamers who had matching colours. Leading them was Cecilia, Vandar and Skull with their own Digimon. High above them came a roar, an enormous and thunderous roar as their protector, and guardian, Imperialdramon Dragon Mode flew into view.

Lance smiled who then turned to Guilmon, "Lance, remember the first time I became Megidramon? How you were worried that I'd change?"
Lance stopped and said, "Yeah?"
"Well you remember what I said in response?"
"How that you would never change and that we would still be the same?"
"Yes. Don't you think it applies to this here?"
Lance thought for a minute and then realized what Guilmon was trying to say to him. He smiled,
"You're right Guilmon, I think as long as we're still alive, and we're still together then we will always be me and you."
Guilmon nodded, "Lance our bond is eternal. It will not change."
"You're right friend." And with a grin, he pulled out his D-Arc. "Now, are you ready for this?"
Guilmon smiled back, he was now filled with excitement, "You needn't ask. I was born ready Lance!"
And without further ado, Guilmon and Lance biomerged once more into the shining knight that was Gallantmon. As soon as the transformation ended, Grani arrived on the scene and they quickly mounted the Dragon before flying up in front of the armies and said, "Today, we will strike the enemy at its core, today is where we will make history. You have all fought for many causes but we all fight for the cause of good overall. I'm not going to go into a big speech but what I will say is you are all heroes on this day." He then turned to the army of the Blood Knights, "And today, you will be forever honored by this. NOW CHARGE!!!"

And with that MasterTyrannomon let out a booming war cry. Signalling for the attack to commence. Cecilia immediately ordered "ATTACK!" to The Eternal Zeal.

Cecilia pressed a button on one of the computers and it revealed an entire map of the Digital World before zooming out to the globe. Immediately schematics and topography details came out over the screen on different areas, showing many figures. "Would this be the kind of intelligence you are looking for Kiara?"

Kiara heard Lance but couldn't turn back, they were moving too quickly and had too much to loose if they didn't pay attention. At her side a few of the Sealsdramon disappeared as the broken first line was reinforced. "Alright Xander," Kiara said as the Eternal Zeal began their attack, "let's finish the last few pieces of our chess board." Xander roared in response, "Blockade!" All at once three story blocks of rocks burst through the ground in the second and third lines of the Blood Knight's defense, completely shattering their formations and allowing the Eternal Zeal to attack a mess instead of an army.

Up above Valkryimon was with the aerial team. He surveyed the grounds and felt familiar surge of energy that his comrades had given him. At Cecile's order he dived with the others, taking out opponents gunning for Duftmon and his partner. Regardless of the ultimate goal of this war, they were his responsibility. "I will never forget my friends. Should we end today, let us find one another again in duty." He said, as he felt the ghosts of his friends at his back.

Kiara looked over the numbers and maps, at her side Xander's eyes raced as quickly as he could. The pair were clearly discussing everything in their heads and behind them Valkryimon looked amused. "There's no use disrupting them until they've got it straight, you basically given two cats a giant pile of catnip," he laughed before the pair turned around, completely oblivious to what they had said.

"Ok, here's what we do," Kiara started confidently.

The Blood Knights were now on the full offensive with their virus-powered Digimon. Among them was the three Chaos Generals BlackWargreymon, MetalSeadramon and Piedmon. All three of them were in command of their own portion of the army and were laying down the assault hard. Many of the Blood Knights from earlier had far weaker Digimon but now the heroes were all facing the might of the Blood Knights. They were bringing Ultimate and Mega-level Digimon into the fray.

Gallantmon lead the charge with a certain charismatic aura about him. The Eternal Zeal was not the largest portion of the army but that made no difference in their amount of skill. Their Digimon were trained to deal with far stronger Digimon and at one point Gallantmon did see a group of Coelamon flanked by a Garudamon bring down a WaruSeadramon. The Dragon and Dinosaur Digimon under MasterTyrannomon's command were giving the Blood Knights a flogging and total run for their money too. A Preciomon flew around firing his hydro blast attack at the main meat of the forces with the help of DinoRexmon and MetalTyrannomon, Master Tyranno's brother. Spinomon meanwhile was caught up in a wrestling match with several Mamemon which he obliterated most in one go with a Blue Prominence attack. The searing flame incinerated them into data very quickly followed up by a quick thrashing from his claws and feet that took out the rest.

Gallantmon immediately fired a Lightning Joust attack, vaporizing a Zanbamon, and over 50 Musyamon flanking him. Then he and Grani unleashed a Yuggoth Blaster attack, wiping out a Boltmon, several DEXDorugreymon and five Pukumon. The Blood Knights following these two attacks were vaporized too. Although the Blood Knights were stronger and faster than the average human, they were no match for the combined forces of Valkyrimon's Air Force, Master Tyranno's prehistoric armies and the might of the Eternal Zeal. Combined, all three armies matched the Blood Knights armies far more evenly.

Although the Blood Knights continued to try and cut past some of their forces they were met with the assault cannons of several very large Cannondramon which were with a group of Brachiomon and Triceramon who in turn were flanked by Monochromon. Master Tyranno was covered by a multitude of Tyrannomon as well as his two trusty MetalGreymon bodyguards. The virus one and the vaccine one both sent out powerful assaults from their giga destroyer attacks.

Although at some areas their allies fell, more came to take their place, doubling in strength and began dispatching the troops immediately as payback. Their forces continued to strike hard and fast. The Blood Knights were getting overwhelmed very, very quickly. Gallantmon yelled out loud to the Blood Knights, "This is for the times you captured and tortured me Crimson!" He yelled before sending out a Lightning Joust and took out several MadLeomon along with a SkullGreymon and Megadramon who was firing down on the allies below. Then he yelled, "This is for Analogman torturing me, Guilmon, Xander and Kiara!" He quickly followed up with a second Lightning Joust that vaporized two Gigadramon as well as a group of Tankdramon. "And this is for CHAOS LORD! I'M GOING TO KICK YOUR ASS FOR HURTING ME THE MOST!!!" And with that Gallantmon brought his shield up. A powerful light glowed from it before he yelled out "Final Elysium!". The super powered energy attack, his signature move, fired away at the Phantomon, SkullMammothmon, WaruMonzaemon and MarineDevimon along with a LadyDevimon who were all obliterated.

Lance grunted amusingly. Indeed it seemed that they were not going to get a word out of them until they were done. He then offered a hand to Valkyrimon, "Pleased to meet you." He said.

"That takes care of the first and second lines Xander. Let's meet up with Valkryimon and begin the second phase!" Kiara shouted as the pair finished off the last brigade of Ladydevimon in the western division. Below her Xander rumbled his assent before launching himself forward digging his claws deeply into a Warumonzemon to allow the remaining Sealsdramon to finish him off as they were with any weakened virus digimon with the blood knights. As he launched he mode changed to Duftmon with Kiara on his shoulder as the pair flew to join Valkryimon and the aerial troops he had been assigned, mostly Aeroveedramon and Eaglemon he had called in.

Once they reached their friend Kiara waved her arm and Valkryimon who nodded in return before pulling out his Fenrir sword and throwing it into the air. Immediately the Aeroveedramon launched dragon impulses at the troops below eliminating squadrons of Blood Knights. A few Eaglemon appeared behind the attacks after following them down and wreaked even more havoc with their mystic beam attack. In the air a similar pattern followed. The strategy worked well enough but it was risky and when the eaglemon rejoined the sky brigade they had lost at least a quarter of their number.

Looking over at Valkryimon Kiara and Xander nodded before Valkryimon pulled out his crossbow and shouted, "Lightening Arrow!" Immediately an arrow was headed straight for Piedmon's head and Kiara and Xander had vanished into thin air.

Valkryimon smiled under helm as he took Lance's smaller hand in his own, "And I you Sir Lance and Guilmon of Gallentmon. I am Valkryimon, a general in the ASF and one of the few able to act against it's wishes." The sky warrior smirked and rubbed a hand softly against his sword, covering the mark of Lycanmon on his hilt. Before Lance anyone had a chance to respond, Kiara turned around and cleared her throat.

"If you're ready, we've reviewed the previous plans and statistics and made the necessary changes," Kiara said, ignoring how rude that might sound and stepping into her role as strategist. She began typing on the computer as Xander leaped onto a chair.

"We'll be able to do this in one shot, but everyone has to be ready with their parts and willing to change as we go," he warned, eying everyone up before he launched into the plans for the upcoming battle while Kiara ran the simulations so that everyone understood what they were supposed to do.

Piedmon immediately dodged to the side of the blast. In that instant he called "Trump Sword!" launching several blades at Valkyrimon. "You think you can best me Valkyrimon? I am far more advanced than you and your pitiful birds." Sneered Piedmon.

Gallantmon flew high above the armies once more, getting a good view of the progress. Master Tyranno's army was only down by a small portion. The Eternal Zeal was of course protected by VictoryGreymon, Rosemon and GrandisKuwagamon as well as the enormous form of Imperialdramon who was easily taking out threats that got within a few hundred metres with his Positron Laser attack. Any opponents that Imperialdramon missed were easily dealt with by the Eternal Zeal. At that moment Gallantmon noticed Cecilia on the ground activate her Digivice. Rosemon began to change, the transformation was quick and revealed Rosemon Burst Mode.
No wonder she's the leader. She can awaken the Burst Mode of Rosemon... Gallantmon thought to himself.

Suddenly from out of the blue came a roar and then a yell which was along the lines of "TERRA DESTROYER!!!!" Lance looked up in time to see a large ball of dark energy explode into him. He was thrown from Grani and descended towards the ground. However, prior to hitting the ground Gallantmon managed to recollect himself and stop before flying back up to see BlackWargreymon watching him.
"So Lance and Guilmon it appears we meet again."
"BlackWarGreymon!" Gallantmon said in an annoyed tone.
"I must admit, being part of the Blood Knights has been a blast so far. They've given me the power to do so many things. When this catastrophe occurs, my existance will have so much meaning. You cannot even begin to grasp the knowledge I have."
"Maybe, but at this point I know that whatever this catastrophe is, I have to stop it, and that means killing you if I have to." Retorted Gallantmon who then pointed his mighty Gram Lance at his opponent, issuing a challenge.
BlackWarGreymon grunted amusingly, "Come on Gallantmon, the last times I fought I almost killed you, spared though by certain interferences. This time though, the safety belts are off. There will be no escape from your imminent demise."
Gallantmon merely laughed, he was very much amused by BlackWarGreymon's cockiness. "You think that just because you beat me the last two times makes you any different? BlackWarGreymon you are far too overconfident to realize I am far better than you. As Megidramon I was slower though still could've potentially beaten you. As WarGrowlmon I was not able to match you because of level and power. But now as Gallantmon I plan to change all of that. So enough with the talking and let's get to it."
BlackWarGreymon laughed back at the knight before saying, "With Pleasure." and sure enough, the dragon warrior flew straight at Gallantmon, ready for one last confrontation. Upon doing this though a light shone about him, he then reappeared as a BlackWarGreymon with silver and white armour instead of black all over him. "You now face me as "CHAOSBLACKWARGREYMON!!!"" He roared.

"Alright then, so what do you propose Kiara?" Asked Lance now that formalities were out of the way. Indeed he was honored to meet Valkyrimon in person but now it was time for a plan, a plan of action. He was ready for it and knew Kiara was a brilliant strategist as was Xander.

Valkryimon only put up his shield as Piedmon attacked. As the trump swords hit his shield the insignia changed from his own person seal to his own sign but in a more bestial form with the crossed swords of Grademon in the background as his sword elongated and his armor more enforce and changed it's colors inversed. Never one for talk, Valkryimon simply shouted, "Sanction Storm!" and released a tornado directly for Piedmon as he drew his arrows and shouted, "Aurvandi's Arrow!" adding lightening to the twister. Before he rushed to follow up his attack, he gripped his sword, and whispered to the wind, "Thank you my friends." Then he rushed into the storm.

Below Kiara almost let go of the illusions she was keeping up when Blackwargreymon transformed. For a split second all she wanted to do was race over but Xander's disapproval flooded her mind and the sharp contrast refocused her. She had a job to do and she couldn't loose focus now. The pair dodged through the skies and into enemy lines to find MetalSeadramon, this was the most dangerous thing they had to do and they were banking on the Eternal Zeal to back them up quickly in this line, but for now they had to act. Out of nowhere Xander launched an Destruction wave attack at the troops around Metal Seadramon and took them out of the battle. The Knight appeared for a moment in the air before blinking out of existence to avoid fire. Now the real fighting began.

"They'll be three phases to the attack, we'll need to get there first and set up the field, trust me, it'll be crucial," Xander began. Kiara showed the field and highlighted important areas. "Kiara and I will then lead the attack to break up their formation before you guys hit full force, here, here, and here...." With that the Duftmon pair preceeded to map out the plan of attack and agument it according to the leaders who actually knew their troops. Soon they'd have to attack and then there'd be no time for rethinking.

Piedmon was now caught in the midst of a tornado which was also dishing out the hurt on the Blood Knights and their partnered Digimon too, Piedmon stood there motionless before a light surrounded him just like with BlackWarGreymon. When the light disappeared, a new Piedmon was there. This one had black clothing, red ribbons and white pants and boots. Piedmon laughed at Valkyrimon who he saw in the storm with him and said, "Now you face me as ChaosPiedmon!" And with a quick action following, he yelled, "Chaos Trump Sword!", launching multiple swords brimming with dark energy and far more lightning speed than his normal attack.

ChaosBlackWargreymon flew towards Gallantmon with a bit more faster speed than as BlackWarGreymon did. Quickly Gallantmon brought his shield to bare the impact of the dramon destroyers that began to assault him hard. However, Gallantmon's shield deflected each attack. In response Gallantmon quickly thrust his shield forward, pushing ChaosBlackWarGreymon away and then responded with a powerful kick from his right leg to his enemy's left thigh. Although he seemed to be much stronger this time, ChaosBlackWarGreymon was still hurt by the attack. Gallantmon then began to go on the attack. Putting his Gram Lance to good use in swiping at his foe.

MetalSeadramon quickly responded with a roar and he too, like the last two leaders transformed. When the transformation finished there stood a blue MetalSeadramon. Finally all three leaders had revealed their more powerful forms. "As ChaosMetalSeadramon I will obliterate you!" Roared the dragon to Duftmon. Immediately he charged across the sky towards them at a terrifying speed.

"Sounds like a good plan." Responded Cecilia. She then pointed to the map too, "Which would mean our army can be protected here and make up the main frontal assault whilst Master Tyranno gives us flanking support from the side over here." She then pointed to another spot. "Our guardian, Imperialdramon will be able to stop any enemies from a good several hundred metres from there." She said.

Valkryimon only grimaced as the wave of dark energy hit him but threw up his shield again and used the tornado it generated to throw the choas swords off course. Piedmon was definitely stronger then before but then again Valkryimon was stronger too, if anything this fight would be much more closer now. "It doesn't matter how you face me Piedmon, I can still see you as the sniveling coward you really are. Saint Lance!" He shouted as lightening leaped into his hand and struck towards ChaosPiedmon at it's own speed.

Further away Xander and Kiara flickered into sight as they dodged the enhanced digimon so narrowly that Kiara could have stuck out her hand and touched him. "No time to mess around my friend," Kiara said as Xander nodded and she pulled out her Digivice, glowed a deep silver, and poured her energy into Xander. "Duftmon digivolve to Duftmon Burst Mode!" The lion knight appeared in greater glory then before and now that he was safely behind enemy lines it was safe to use one of his newest attacks. "Brown Fog!" He shouted as he wrapped himself and Kiara into a protective shield and covered a large portion of the enemies western battle field with the poison. Above Valkryimon's squad was ready and were sending air attacks to keep the mist on the enemy side of the field until it dispersed. Until that point the rest of the weaker of the enemy would be preoccupied with some hallucination.

That done Xander charged at ChoasMetalSeadramon with his destruction blade fully charged as he and Kiara called out, "EXTINCTION!" Unleashing a wave of pure destructive energy at the sea monster.

"That's the idea, I'd like minimal lose in this one but with what their planning we have to take risks. We need to get rid of the generals first after that, we'll focus on the real leaders of the Blood Knights and we'll need constant back up," Kiara replied.

Xander looked over to Valkryimon and then looked at the field again, "My friend, I have to ask you to bring your the eaglemon in on this. I know you don't like to abuse there trust, but this is very important, do you think you can convince them?"
Valkryimon frowned before nodding curtly and Xander sighed. "Good, their the best fliers I've ever seen bar Wingdramon." Behind him Kiara smiled and sighed. "Alright, then if we're all agreed we should get this started soon. Is there anything else we're missing?"

ChaosPiedmon was hit hard by the attack but nonetheless regained himself and threw out another set of trump swords before throwing out what seemed to be a small handkerchief. He then teleported away from Valkyriemon before yelling out "Final Spell!", sending a powerful magical ball of dark energy straight at his foe.

ChaosMetalSeadramon immediately yelled "River of Chaos!" sending a powerful beam at Duftmon. The beam was not bright and energetic but now filled with dark power along with sets of dark flames around it. This attack was much more powerful than normal MetalSeadramon's River of Power move. "You're finished Duftmon, my power will vaporize you!" Roared the dragon.

"No...he's stronger, but how?!" Yelled ChaosBlackWarGreymon in annoyance. Quickly he fired up his claws with bright light and yelled "Chaos Dragon Crusher!", sending powerful energy waves at Gallantmon whom immediately blocked the impact of them but still felt some damage from them. Gallantmon nonetheless was not harmed a lot and spoke in a more confident tone now. "You may be stronger than before but you lack focus. You are far too keen to see me destroyed that you do not think straight enough. You will be defeated and this plan of yours will die as well. And with that Gallantmon yelled out "Yuggoth Blaster!", sending a combined attack from him and Grani at ChaosBlackWarGreymon who was hurt badly by the move. Now the enemy was annoyed, in rage and angry. "NO! YOU'RE FINISHED!!!" Roared ChaosBlackWarGreymon who then resorted to "Final Destroyer!!!", an attack performed much like Terra Destroyer only this time it was larger and what seemed to be in the form of an enormous orb. ChaosBlackWarGreymon launched the attack straight at Gallantmon.
Gallantmon watched as the attack flew towards him with terrifying speed. But he was not afraid for he and Grani were ready for it. Let's go Grani. "Yuggoth Blaster!!!" He yelled.
What happened next was a powerful blast from Grani's mouth came through and struck the powerful attack hard. However the attack did not explode or detonate but rather held the orb at bay. Gallantmon then began to glow with Grani very quickly. "DRAGON DRIVER!!!" He yelled. And together the great knight and dragon soared across the sky, sending themselves right into orb.

Cecilia nodded and then said, "Your plan seems to work a lot better than ours Kiara, I think we can go with this. Each one of us leaders will lead our own faction but at the same time provide support for each other. Should this plan work, we can wipe the Blood Knights out entirely with not a lot of casualties. They may have very powerful digimon but they have a huge flaw: logic. The Blood Knights attack relentlessly with no logic or strategy. They rely heavily on numbers. This meeting has been adjourned. We will attack tomorrow as we all need to rest up and recover. Tomorrow our troops will be gathered at the city and we will then move on out from there. Lance, Guilmon, Kiara and Xander, you four will take point." Master Tyranno then spoke up, "I will get my people ready for combat. I do not think we have missed anything." He then turned to Lance and Guilmon, "Lance, Guilmon, looking forward to meeting up with you on the field of battle."
And with that, the meeting was finished. Vandar then came up to them, "I will have someone show you to a place to stay at." He said.

Hours Later....Midnight...

Lance stood outside on the balcony of a large house overlooking the city that had been provided to him and Kiara. Not a very sophisticated house either but had two bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom and lounge room. He had to admit, for a large city it was kept very secretive rather well. He turned around to see Guilmon snoring soundly near his comfortable bed that he had been provided. He stood there, wondering about events that would occur the next day, as well as about Kiara. He wanted to be with her right now, longing for it. He sighed heavily. Wow...I cannot believe that I'm about to do something as big as this...And yet I'm scared, scared of losing this war but also losing Kiara and my friends... He thought to himself.

Valkryimon was distracted by the trump sword attack and was forced to throw up his sword and another tornado to deflect the attack but when the final spell appeared and promptly folded his wings and turned the tornado around him. The attack spun into the wind and hit against Valkryimon's leg. He grimaced and as he dropped and pulled out his crossbow, "Laser Javilin!" He shot out an energy beam in the direction of ChoasPiedmon. Above Frejya observed the battle, shouting out warning to his master.

Kiara narrowed her eyes and held tight as Xander prepared for the incoming attack, as it collided with the Extinction attack Xander had used. Xander enforced the attack and abruptly his sword turned from almost black from handling the backlash of the collision. "You're ill informed MetalSeadramon, I am not only the strategist of the Knights, I am also the Knight of Destruction, and with this sword I will end you!" Xander shouted as the gemstones on his body glowed brighter, enhancing the forcefield around himself and Kiara before thrusting his sword forward and cutting through the River of Power Attack and screamed "EINE BILLION!" A massive amount of power erupted from Xander's sword as he pushed through to ChoasMetalSeadramon.

Kiara sighed in bed and was trying her best to sleep, but it was a lost cause. At her side Xander laid curled up and asleep. I need some air. She thought before rolling out of the bed, wrapping a shawl around her shoulders over the shorts and tanktop he had on, and walked out side to the balcony. When she saw Lance she thought about turning around, but didn't. Instead she leaned against the door frame and said, "It's too pretty a night to ignore. Tomorrow will work out fine, don't worry so much." She said smiling.

At that moment ChaosPiedmon saw the attack coming and immediately warped away before teleporting directly in front of Valkyrimon. He laughed as he thrust two swords at his opponent, hoping to at least get a good jab in before he could finish him off. His attacks rapidly sped up, making them more and more frequent.

Chaos MetalSeadramon meanwhile was in deep problems. Duftmon's move at first completely collided with the beam and the two attacks were stuck, one unable to surpass the other. But then, as if by a sudden push from the heavens above, the attack from Duftmon then began to push back his beam. One word came to the sea dragon's mind and that was a dreaded "No....". Disbelief followed this and bewildered as he tried to apply more power into the move but saw it was futile and began saying, "No, no, no, no, no, NO!" And with a loud bang Duftmon's Eine Billion attack hit its mark. ChaosMetalSeadramon was thrown back by it with smoke surrounding him. "ENOUGH!" He roared, and with a quick recovery, flew at Duftmon before coiling around him like a snake preparing to constrict its prey.

What happened next to ChaosBlackWarGreymon was the scariest seconds of his life. Gallantmon's Dragon Driver attack was sent straight at the Yuggoth Blaster attack holding back Final Destroyer. With the added force of the Dragon Driver move, the Yuggoth Blaster was able to overpower Final Destroyer and cause a large explosion, stopping both attacks. ChaosBlackWargreymon covered his face from the explosion which was enormous but that's when he let his guard down. Gallantmon was already following up with a counter attack and by the time the Dragon Warrior realized it, it was too late. Gallantmon zoomed towards his foe with another Dragon Driver attack and crashed into him, sending ChaosBlackWarGreymon soaring away with a resounding bang.

Lance looked up to the sound of a voice and turned to see Kiara there. "Oh Kiara...hi..." He started to then wonder if Kiara could read his mind. The thought was scary enough. Nonetheless he began to speak up again, "How do I know that we'll be alright? We're the last two Royal Knights that stand together against the enemy." He then sighed, "I do though wish to be convinced that we'll make it Kiara." He said, feeling an even bigger sense of longing now. Wanting to reach out and hold her tight. Protect her from anyone of malevolent intentions.

As ChaosPiedmon teleported Frejya screeched and Valkryimon threw up his shield to block one of the swords and deflected the other with Fenrir. At this point his hours of practice in the ASF, against Duftmon in particular, were paying off. Even so his own natural speed was taxed to keep up with the enhanced Piedmon, thankfully enough he wasn't alone in this battle. Valkryimon continued to block the swords, and then intentionality allowed one of the attacks to break his guard, cutting into his side and forcing him back as he gasped out, "Punishing Storm!" His shield sent out a whirlwind of air to push the digimon away from ChoasPiedmon while Frejya screamed from above and dived at the Choas general as quick as lightening and engulfed in flames making the hawk 10 times a large.

Seeing the incoming attack Kiara grinned and quickly cloaked herself and Duftmon before disappearing in the drifting fog and safely away from ChaosmetalSeadramon's attack by simply going up and avoiding the constriction all together. He's ballistic. Kiara thought to Xander as they moved, keeping the general in sight but at a safe distance.

He's uncontrolled, that is all, and we know how to use that don't we? Xander replied as they watched and waited for the general's reaction to their disappearing act.

Kiara didn't say anything, but instead walked out and leaned against the balcony beside him. She stared at the stars and enjoyed the calmness before replying. "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things unseen," she said randomly, "Hebrews 11 verse 1. It continues with a list of the most notable bible figures and how they acted on faith to preform God's will. There story ends in verse 13, 'These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off."

"Its one of my favorite stories because it shows that there is so much more then just my own life, but that life contributes making the future's life better. We could bleed, cry, and die tomorrow, but none of that will matter if we win. Unless we stop them an entire world will be condemned to their madness and I would rather die before that happens. Lance have faith that what we're doing is right, know that whatever happens is meant to happen and find peace, its the only thing that's gotten me this far and it will be the only thing that get's us through tomorrow." Kiara finished, gazing back at the sky, but this time seeming to look even further then the stars above them.

ChaosPiedmon yelled out "Chaos Trump Sword!" Again, this time throwing several swords at the bird attacking him, desperate to get him off of his back. He quickly warped away from the spot and came up behind Valkyrimon. This time he thrust his swords at a much faster rate, hoping to bring his opponent down for good. Now ChaosPiedmon was desperate, desperate to win.

ChaosMetalSeadramon looked down at his opponent only to see that they had escaped his grasp and annoyingly started to look around for them. "You won't be able to hide forever Duftmon! And when you are found I will delete you for good." He replied. Out of pure arrogance and ignorance ChaosMetalSeadramon then fired off an Inferno attack. The stream of fire was aimed at no one in particular and is why many Blood Knights and their Digimon were caught in the attack rather than the enemy.

ChaosBlackWarGreymon sat there in midair, weakened somewhat but still very much standing. But he did not attack again, instead he said, "You're stronger Gallantmon but you'll never stop me once the main event occurs. You will be deleted and I will be victorious." And with that, the dragon warrior retreated away, Gallantmon wanted to pursue but could see he was already too far. He didn't say anything but merely grunted at the sight. At that moment Gallantmon began to look around for the leaders of the Eternal Zeal, Master Tyranno and Kiara and Xander to check up on them.

Lance looked at her with interest. "I never knew you were religious Kiara." He chuckled a bit and then said, "Personally I've never been a firm believer of religion. I know that angels exist. That's fairly obvious but I've just never been part of the religion. In any case, you can believe in what you want to believe in. The way I see it, everyone can choose what they believe in." And then he went silent for a moment. "Kiara it's not that I don't always believe, I'm just....scared...Scared of this. Tomorrow I will be combatting my rival most likely as well as three of the most dangerous enemies I have feared in the beginning. I'm scared of losing Guilmon, I'm scared of the armies losing....and I'm scared..." And he paused before adding "...I'm scared of losing you and Xander...."

Valkryimon continued to watch and counter as ChaosPiedmon came at him, he knew he couldn't win this alone, even with the energy from his friends, but then he wasn't exactly alone. After Frejya's attack was finished the hawk at spun upwards, the swords had been engulfed by the flames, missing the actual bird within, still lit up, and that was the eaglemon's cue. Valkryimon saw it and smiled bringing his sword upwards and deflecting with his shield and spoke for the first time. "Check."

With that, an Eaglemon from below grabbed him while it was diving, pulling the digimon away from the fight. At that exact moment seven Eaglemon shouted out, "Mystic Beak!" and launched a wave of energy attacks from all sides. While Valkrimon pulled out his crossbow prepared for the moment that ChaosPiedmon attempted to escape.

See, uncontrolled. Xander told Kiara as they watched the attack destroy many of the blood knights around them. With that said the pair came around behind the wreathing sea dragon and opened the cannon embedded in his chest appearing a second later and shouting, "ROYAL CANNON!"

"It's the only explanation I've ever been able to find," Kiara replied to his comment about religion and took his hand, smiling. "It's ok to be afraid, you'd be stupid not to be, and I don't want to loose any of you guys either, but one way or another we are going to go to that battle field tomorrow and we'll fight." She stopped and made sure lance was looking at her.

"We're digi-destined, before we were ever Royal Knights, and a digi-destined's greatest strength is the faith and emotion we have. We hope, we have courage, we love, we have each other. It's not just going to be the two of us out there, they'll be an army of digidestines and we all of that power, that pure power!"

ChaosPiedmon had no time to dodge the oncoming attack and was hit by the full force of it. The wizard digimon was very much badly injured by the attack and through much heaving and puffing, as if he was in a sense of fatigue yelled, "Enough of this! When the catastrophe begins you won't be able to stop it!". Immediately he warped away before Valkyrimon could further attack him but not at the warrior this time. This time ChaosPiedmon warped far away from him.

ChaosMetalSeadramon was totally unprepared and thus his metallic hide was the only thing that was going to save him. It still didn't stop the excrutiating pain and he was thrown by the full force of the attack. He was hurt hard and let out an angry roar in pain. He then let out a hiss now catching sight of his opponent shortly after regaining himself in mid-flight. "No...No I cannot go down like this, I must fulfill my goal." And with a roar flew up into the sky, into the clouds, disappearing from sight and at an impressive speed.

Gallantmon quickly descended back down from the sky, checking to see the battle below. So far, the allied forces had pushed forward a lot, in fact a good half of the Blood Knights army were gone as a result of the combined efforts of three armies going at them at once. He sighed with relief, it was good to see them having victory after so many losses. In fact, it also appeared to Gallantmon that many of the allies were losing fewer casualties now, either they were getting smarter or the enemy was just trying to throw themselves at them. In any case it was a good result. Not too far away, Gallantmon caught sight of Master Tyranno unleash a power Master Fire attack on a ShogunGekomon, incinerating him instantly.

Lance felt a lot better as a result of what Kiara had just said. He chuckled again, "Oh don't worry Kiara I have no intention of fleeing. This will not only be me confronting my fear but also because I have to do this. I cannot let the Blood Knights win and I refuse to back down." With a smile he said, "Thanks for making me feel better Kiara. You are a joy to have around you know?", and then he stopped. Looking out towards the moonlight again and then said, turning back to Kiara, "You look very beautiful tonight Kiara. And I mean that not just as a mere compliment either."

Valkryimon lowered his weapon as he looked on in confusion. What catastrophe was he talking about? Holding up his arm he called Freyja, "Inform Lady Kiara and Lord Xander of the newest development." The hawk immediately dived and jetted for Kiara. In the mean time Valkryimon called out to his troops and instructed them to resume attacking the other Blood Knights.

Kiara and Xander were also very confused when ChoasMetalSeadramon fled, talking about a goal. "I don't like the sound of that..." Xander said gravely even as Frejya shrieked and Kiara held out her arm to catch him. "They're planning some sort of massive attack, ChaosPiedmon described it as a Catastrophe." The bird summarized and Kiara looked confused once more. "Alright, inform MasterTyrannomon and Cecilia, Xander we need to get Lance and stop whatever they're planning." Both bird and Knight nodded before launching towards their goals.

They quickly made it away from behind the blood knights decimated lines and found Gallantmon. "We've got trouble, they're planning something big. We have to go after them now." Xander shouted as the pair waited anxiously for his reply.

"And you're still a flatterer, but thanks. Every girl likes to hear she looks good after rolling out of bed," Kiara replied, grinning at him. He really was a hopeless romantic. "And you sir will always be my shining Knight, but we should both get some sleep. Tomorrow will be dangerous and we should be at our best."

Gallantmon looked back to Kiara and Xander, "The Generals you mean? Hmmm...seems you guys are not the only ones who happened to cross paths with them during this fight. ChaosBlackWarGreymon mentioned something similiar too. But my guess is as good as yours, they're planning something big." Before they could do anything though, there came a loud booming noise as something appeared on the horizon. It appeared to be a large set of three towers, all of which had platforms roosted on them. At the bottom was a set of smaller buildings and long runways as well as barracks. Gallantmon then realized what exactly it was.
"No way, that's the Blood Knights base!" He yelled.

Lance moved up close to Kiara, he held her right hand with his left and her right hand in his left and kissed her on the lips gently. "I will always be your shining knight my princess." He answered back in response to her comment. Her hands felt warm and comforting to him.

"That...is impressive." Kiara said dumbly as she stared at the raising building. Below here Xander wasn't so easily distracted. "If they can use that as a weapon we're in more trouble then ever, we need to get in and disarm it, now." Xander said forcefully before pulling out his sword and sending a sweeping wave of dark energy towards the building and seeing only minimal damage. "Are you with us Gallantmon, we need to move now!" Xander asked, anxious to begin before the base became armed or triggered something.

Kiara held tightly to his hands and leaned in to kiss him, just in case this was the last time. "That won't work if the princess is a Knight as well," she teased him breathlessly with a smile on her lips.

Gallantmon looked back to Xander and nodded, "I agree, we need to go now." And with a nod, he and Grani took off into the air, heading for the base. However on the base he could see three figures standing on the platforms. Two of the platforms were lower than the middle one but from the large dinosaur-like figure that was in red with twin cannons, Gallantmon knew who exactly it was.
"Chaos Lord..." He said in a very warning tone. On the left tower sat Kimeramon and on the right tower was Machinedramon. On Machinedramon's back stood a man with a laptop. Lance knew that man was none other than Analogman himself and there was also a man on Kimeramon. Lance knew that had to be Crimson. All three of the nefarious leaders of the Blood Knights had arrived. Kimeramon then unleashed a Heat Viper attack whilst Machinedramon used his Giga Cannons and Chaos Lord who was of course the more deadlier subspecies of Machinedramon called Chaosdramon was putting his Chaos Cannons to work in obliterating the allied forces on the battlefield below.

Lance chuckled and replied, "Well then, my lady. Perhaps a princess can also be a knight in shining armour too. My knight in shining armour." And with a smile said, "A knight that is very attractive too." He added before kissing Kiara again.

As soon as Kiara saw the arriving forces she pulled out her ASF, "Valkryimon, you need warn everyone. They finally decided to show their ugly faces, we're going to need back up. Also, get specific word to Imperialdramon. He needs to be ready for the worst." Kiara said, before shutting closing the communicator and looking to Gallantmon. "Faith." With that Xander opened up the cannon on his chest and shouted, "Royal Cannon!" The beam of energy swiped across all three of the leaders getting their attention on the Royal Knights instead of the troops below.

Further off Valkryimon rushed to MasterTyrannomon and Rosemon to tell them about the situation, "We need to reinforce them immediately and take those three out," he said trying to get as much support as possible.

Kiara leaned into the kiss and felt her hands move from his to his face and chest, but then stopped cold. "We can't do this, not now. We need to rest Lance," Kiara said shakily as she pulled away and wrapped the shawl tighter around her. "Too much rides on tomorrow," She said before turning to go inside.

Immediately barriers shot up to stop Xander's attack on the three leaders. In response, all three Digimon fired their attacks directly at Gallantmon. Gallantmon who saw this coming tried to dodge all three and did so with minimal success. Kimeramon's Heat Viper and Machine Dramon's Giga Cannon attacks were unable to hit him but Chaos Lord's Chaos Cannon succeeded in landing. Gallantmon and Grani were thrown from each other and Gallantmon was sent spinning away like a fighter jet on a crash course.

MasterTyrannomon nodded in response to Valkyrimon, he then turned to Rosemon Burst Mode and Cecilia who were close by. "Go tell Imperialdramon to concentrate his attention on that base. The Blood Knights could have reinforcements coming out as we speak." He said in a very commanding tone. Cecilia and Rosemon nodded before the Rose warrior grabbed her tamer and flew up into the sky. MasterTyrannomon then said, "Get back to your troops, we need to keep up the pressure in the meantime. Imperialdramon's Mega Crusher attack should be sufficient enough." He said.

Lance sighed in disappointment but then said, "You are right Kiara. I do though wish to be next to you that's all. We might sleep a lot more easily then." He wasn't asking for much but rather just to comfort her. "If not then I will return to my quarters."

"Crap!" Kiara snarled as the attack hit a forcefield, they would have to disable it if they were going to get into the fortress. When the attack came she watched as Gallantmon took the worst of it, considering they were all aiming for him she wasn't too surprised. In order to avoid getting pushed out entirely Kiara immediately cloaked herself and Xander. They needed to disable the fortresses defenses before anything else. Fighting down the urge to go after Gallantmon, Kiara and Xander darted towards the front lines. There was only one digimon capable of spotting the weaknesses they needed to find fast enough and that was a Sealsdramon.

Kiara sighed, knowing that that was what she wanted as well but also knowing that she didn't want to push things too far either. Then again she may die tomorrow. "Alright, but only to sleep, tomorrow will be long." She said, her eyes distant again.

Suddenly, there came a mighty roar, one that boomed across the landscape as Imperialdramon finally got the message to unleash his ultimate attack. "MEGA CRUSHER!!!" Came the response as his Positron Laser on his back began to glow at the barrel and within moments unleashed a powerful beam of energy out from it. The beam was unmissable. The power and size of the beam was enough to make most tremble at the incredible power of the great dragon. The beam continued to fly, vaporizing any blood knights who happened to get caught in the beams radius as it flew at the towers and struck dead on. A large explosion enveloping the towers followed this. But even most combatants could see that Imperialdramon had done his job and that meant destroying the base itself which was obliterated and in ruins when the smoke cleared up. The Spires too crumbled and fell. However, the platforms the three leaders were on stayed up, floating in midair motionless.

Meanwhile, Gallantmon spiraled into the ground with a crash alongside Grani. Thankfully though, Gallantmon was not too badly hurt. The attack that had hit him though had caused him a lot of pain.
"No...I'm not out of this yet. Not by far anyway." He said to himself before hopping back on Grani. "I have to draw their fire away from the allies, until I of course can figure them out. At least Imperialdramon would have destroyed that base easily."
And with quick speed, he hopped back on Grani and flew up into the sky again.

Lance smiled and said, "That's fine, that's all I ask." And with his right hand, he brought it to Kiara's left and lead her to his bed. The one thing that would not make him any more happier was to be with Kiara at that time.

As Duftmon picked up a Sealsdramon to scout out the flying platform with his Scouter Monoeye, Kiara took inventory of the battle. Things had been clearly on there side but with the arrival of the Leaders of the blood knights, it was Imperialdramon who was saving them. Imperialdramon... Kiara thought as they dodged attacks from all over. Xander, if worst comes to worse... Kiara started hesitantly, but Xander cut her off.

I know Kiara, Reanna, we'll win this fight, one way or another. He replied and Kiara nodded before the Sealsdramon spoke, "The entire structure is secured by the shield which is being generated from it's apex. That apex is also secure but may be broken if hit at a 36 degree angle with a force over 6 MNewtons." It summarized. Kiara whistled, but Xander signaled for one of the Aeroveedramon to fly with them.

"Take Sealsdramon and get him out of here, be ready for when we bring that shield down. Ready Kiara?" In response Kiara distorted the light around them and they shot towards the base. Once successfully below Xander charged his sword and said, "Black Aura Blast!" A beam of dark energy shot out to hit the exact spot Sealsdramon had mentioned, whether it worked or not remained to be seen.

The powerful force of the Black Aura Blast seemed to be doing the trick. Much of the lower parts of the Blood Knights base were decimated and most buildings had crumbled and were destroyed as a result. The towers were hardly standing anymore either. Imperialdramon Dragon Mode's last attack had done a lot of structural damage and the towers weren't going to be standing for much longer either. The problem was though, the three platforms the Blood Knights Leaders were at were protected by forcefields of sorts which seemed to stop any attacks that hit them. That was of course until Sealsdramon told them where the weakness was.

The three Digimon who lead the Blood Knights charged up and fired their signature moves once more. However, whilst this occurred there came a shout which said "LIGHTNING JOUST!" with a beam of energy that struck Kimeramon within moments of him firing. Kimeramon was still up though still felt the full force of the attack. Gallantmon stood in the sky on Grani once more, with his Gram Lance pointed directly out at Kimeramon.
"So that's how it's done. The only time we can hit them is when they are about to use their attacks..." Gallantmon said to himself. In any case, the royal knight was back up and ready to go again. Ready to stop the Blood Knights leaders no matter what.

Xander darted away from the collapsing structure to get into a position of attack. He had hoped that that would take out the forcefield but it appeared the generator was too strongly guarded within. They watched as Gallantmon attacked Kimeramon, "Alright Xander that's our way in." Kiara said determined to make a mark, but at this point Valkryimon had finally made to join them. Xander filled him in and explained the issue with the forcefield generator. Valkryimon looked thoughtful for a moment before holding out his arm and called Freyja to him.

"Freyja can get inside while we keep them busy. He could take it out." The messenger hawk cocked it's head attentively before skreeching. It could only talk to carry messages but it did understand what was going on. Kiara looked doubtful for a moment but quickly nodded. "Get ready." She warned as Freyja swooped into the air preparing for the dive and looking for the generator.

"Togeather old friend?" Xander asked and Valkryimon smiled. "BLACK AURA BLAST!" "AVANTI'S ARROW!" The two attacks merged as they headed directly for Chaosdramon who was beginning to fire on the troops again. As the attacks merged Freyja fell from the sky, hidden in the brillant light of Avanti's arrow and darted inside the forcefield to locate the source of the forcefield.

Chaosdramon immediately responded with a Chaos Cannon attack. The powerful energy attack collided head on with Duftmon and Valkyrimon's combined attack. Although that did stop the full force of the attack, a lot of it still managed to get past and struck him just before the forcefield could stop it. Chaosdramon roared back before standing down briefly. Chaosdramon was not unintelligent by the least and for being in relation to the leader of the Metal Empire, he was extremely intelligent. "You will all be exterminated!" Said Chaosdramon before stopping his assault completely. Analogman and Machinedramon saw their leader had been hit and so sent a Giga Cannon attack up at Valkyrimon.

Gallantmon knew at that point that the only way to stop Kimeramon and Crimson was to either get inside or try to get a good shot in right as they attacked. He decided to go with the latter option. "CRIMSON!!!" Yelled Gallantmon, "DO YOUR WORST!" Although he was pretty much goading him, it did the trick and Crimson pointed at Gallantmon to Kimeramon who then charged up another Heat Viper attack. Gallantmon saw this and brought his Aegis Shield to bare, he too charged up, only his attack would be Final Elysium. Crimson, seeing this then realized the huge flaw in what he had just done. "NO! STOP KIMERAMON!!!" Yelled the leader. But it was too late, Kimeramon would not stop his attack and it continued to charge until the synthetic digimon fired it. If it was one thing that was true about Kimeramon, it was that he was not exactly an intelligent Digimon and thus paid the ultimate price. "HEAT VIPER!!!" Came the response from Kimeramon as he fired off his powerful heat ray directly at Gallantmon. Gallantmon though was ready for it and thus his shield was already glowing, charged up to unleash his attack.
"You're finished Crimson. FINAL ELYSIUM!!!!" Yelled Gallantmon who fired the beam immediately.

The two attacks immediately collided head on and for what seemed like an eternity, the attacks met at one point and stopped. Both attacks were unable to overpower the other at first but then Gallantmon's came true in the end and triumphed. Deep down in Gallantmon was joy and amusement as his own attack sent Kimeramon's hurtling backwards and his own forwards right at Crimson and Kimeramon. Plus, with the barrier unable to be brought up, it basically meant the ultimate demise for them.

Xander saw it saw the attack coming towards Valkyrimon and shouted, "No!" He leaped forward and pulled Valkryimon down and took part of the attack. "ARRRAGH!" He shouted as Valkryimon looked on in horror. Kiara looked very pained but shook her head. "Please finish the generator." Valkryimon nodded as the pair recovered and held his hands together shouting, "HAWK INFERNO!" Inside the forcefield Freyja located what he thought was the forcefield generator and promptly erupted into flames and flew into the structure.

At the same time Xander recovered and looked down at Chaosdramon and prepared another attack. "ERNEST LAUNCHER!" He directed it towards the dragon. If the shield were down this would go through if not then he and Kiara would be in a little bit of trouble.

"OH S@#%!" Yelled Crimson as the oncoming attack from Gallantmon rapidly came forward, sending Kimeramon's Heat Viper right back at him and Kimeramon as well. It was at that moment that Crimson jumped off of Kimeramon's back and tapped a button on a small pad on his wrist, similiar to Vandars' one. Crimson then leapt off the platform whilst the forcefield was still down. A GranKuwagamon flew on by and picked him up just as he was descending towards the ground and flew away with him just as the beam finally struck Kimeramon, causing a large explosion. Kimeramon roared in shock as he was vaporized in the blast. The synthetic digimon let out one last cry of pain and anguish as total defeat came to pass as well as his demise, and then he was no more. As a result, his data flew out and Gallantmon quickly absorbed it into him. Gallantmon though did see Crimson getting away from the base, his strongest Digimon however had been defeated. Gallantmon decided it was better to handle the other two threats now.

The generator, the one thing that held the forcefields together was destroyed within moments. Electricity and energy cackled around it before it finally exploded with a loud bang that unleashed also an EMP from it. Though the Digimon were not harmed, the forcefields were destroyed however. Chaos Lord was not hugely affected but Machinedramon however, being also an android Digimon was just about to open fire on Kiara and Duftmon once again with a Giga Cannon when suddenly, the cannons stopped charging. Electricity flew around them and then the cannons died off entirely. It was a malfunction, the EMP had hit Machinedramon.

Kiara and Xander watched as the shield went down and Choasdramon took the hit of their Ernst launcher full force. He wasn't finished yet but he would be soon. Destroying the generator had the added effect of decimating Machindramon and Xander and Kiara felt amazed that they were actually winning this, of course after fighting the Thornes anything would seem more evenly matched. Behind her Valkryimon called back Freyja who keened happily at his accomplishment but was a little roughed up.

"Together," Xander said the Valkryimon who nodded. Xander charged his sword while Valkyimon through his hand in the air, "EINE BILLION!" "SAINT LANCE!" The darkness and lightening attacks merged again, more powerful then before and shot directly towards Choasdramon, leaving Gallantmon to finish off Machinedramon.

Chaos Lord fired off his Chaos Cannons one more time, desperate to stop the incoming attack but it was futile. And with the rest of the base crumbling thanks to help from Imperialdramon and a few others, it was pretty much downhill from here for the evil dragon. Chaosdramon was very powerful but not even he could prevent the oncoming attack and so succumbed to it in the resulting explosion. He collapsed on one side, extremely hurt but not out.

Gallantmon meanwhile took the privilege of firing a Yuggoth Blaster at Machinedramon who was unable to move at all and aimed directly for the center of his body, vaporizing the android Digimon very quickly along with his partner Analogman who was also vaporized in the attack. Although he was unsure, Gallantmon thought he heard screaming as Analogman was wiped out off the face of the world. Machinedramon roared in anger as his body materialized.

It was at that moment when suddenly, Chaos Lord was starting to growl and then quite abruptly got back up on his feet. "You think that this war has been won don't you not?" He said to Gallantmon.
"I do Chaos Lord, I know we've almost won. You on the other hand have lost and as such I will delete you forever, preventing you from being reborn as a Digimon ever again."
Chaosdramon stopped and then said, "My master will be proud for what I am about to accomplish. I am the ultimate lifeform created by my master. You may have escaped me on occasion and defeated me now but I am still perfection in my master's eyes."
Gallantmon stopped at that moment.
"Wait a second...master? You have a master?"
"Affirmative, but the master is far more powerful than I could ever become in this form. That is why the master has allowed me to do THIS!" And with a roar, Chaosdramon glowed a bright shining light that surrounded his body. Up in the sky and above the clouds came the Chaos Generals who had retreated earlier, also glowing with brilliant light. Finally joining them four was Crimson on Grankuwagamon, he leapt onto the platform the rest were at and he too began to glow.

Xander quickly drew his sword and rushed forward to finish off Choasdramon once and for all but stopped when he and Gallantmon began to talk. Kiara and Xander said nothing as they looked at the dark digimon who had suddenly begun to glow. Once Crimson joined them, Kiara shook her head and shouted, "I don't know what this is but we should get out of the way!"

Xander nodded and backed off the platform. "Gallantmon, come on. We need to know what we're fighting before we can actually face it!" The glowing seemed to increase but neither of the pair knew what they were in for.

Gallantmon nodded and immediately fired up his lance and shot a Lightning Joust at Chaos Lord. It wasn't rocket science as clearly something was happening right now and even he was not about to see the end result without trying to prevent it. But try as he did, the attacks seemed to do little to interrupt what was going on which was all five beings coming together. "Oh this can't be happening..." Said Gallantmon in a tone of dread. In all of his experience he had not seen something like this. He knew that the enemies were DNA Digivolving into one form but FIVE OF THEM?! All he knew was, the end result would be something far worse than he imagined. The five beings came together and a sphere fused around all of them as Chaosdramon, Crimson, and the Chaos Generals DNA Digivolved. Though he knew that the catastrophe the Blood Knights leaders had spoken of had not occurred he was sure that this would be the last thing to stop them from preventing it. "This is what Chaos Lord wanted...this has to be his last ditch effort to stop us all...." And then he turned to Kiara and Xander, "I don't know what is going to come out of that sphere but prepare yourselves!" He warned.

It didn't take long for the sphere to finally explode outwards and reveal the abomination that was inside. The Blood Knights final obstacle and being that stood between freedom and destruction was a Digimon Gallantmon had never seen before.



It had ChaosBlackWarGreymon's head, right gauntlet, shoulder pads and shield on its back as well as the same legs but the armour was red as were its eyes. ChaosMetalSeadramon's tail sat behind it and the ribbons of ChaosPiedmon were draped across it in red. However the body was of Chaos Lord as was the left arm and the feet too along with two mugen cannons that were holstered on the creature's back. It stood there briefly and then said, "Welcome to hell, I am NeoCrimson and I am going to take you there!" He said with a mechanical tone.

Kiara immediately paled as the sphere opened to revel NeoCrimson. This was beyond anything she had ever seen before, including Azrealmon. "Valkryimon, send Freyja for back up and tell all troops to focus where we are. Once we beat this guy it's over," Xander said calmly. He was truly a knight, prepared to face whatever challenge he encountered. Valkryimon nodded as Freyja winged away and disappeared.

Without wasting anymore time Xander looked at Valkryimon and Gallantmon, hoping they took his meaning and drew his sword. "BLACK AURA BLAST!" Vlakryimon wasted no time, pulling out his crossbow and shouting, "AVANTI'S ARROW!" The two attacks flew forward towards the new enemy.

Further back in the lines Freyja winged towards MasterTyrannomon and Rosemon before shrieking, "DNA Super Ultimate, Knights need back up. Biggest problem." After shouting this message he winged to tell the eaglemon above and Imperialdramon as well. His master needed help quickly and the hawk was anxious to get help and get back to the front line.
