Personality: Blood is an incredibly charismatic man with one slight downfall: he is downright insane. Beneath the guise of being a well-off and charming man, he harbors dark secrets that haunt him and pushed him over the brink of insanity long ago. He believes in his purpose: to cause insanity in the world by destroying the lives of the sane. It’s uncertain whether he himself even believes in this purpose entirely, though. Why would a madman strive so hard to stay one step ahead of his adversary? Is the world but mere pawns in his game?
Appearance: Hansel is a fair-haired young man who wears his hair pulled back in a ponytail. He dresses very well and often wears a black silk top hat. He carries around a pocket watch that appears to have some kind of pattern over the clock face.
History: Once upon a time, Hansel and his sister Gretel left their abusive home and wandered into the woods only to stumble upon what appeared to be a beautiful house made of sweets – or so the story goes. Within that house, however, madness ensued. A hideous garden that should never have been visited brought about the horrific and violent death of Hansel’s sister and brought images to his mind that continued to haunt him for years to come.
For years Hansel tried to hide his reactions to the nightmares that never ceased to wake him in the middle of the night. He even rose in society, and took a wife whom he loved very much. One day, however, he found her murdered, the scene of her death strikingly similar to that of his late sister.
The thoughts that continued to race through Hansel’s mind drove him over the brink, and put the idea into his head that he must gather a group of 25 together for the purposes of spreading insanity. He has been doing quite a bit of research and slowly gathering together the members that will make up the group known as ASYLUM.
Modus Operandi: leaves behind the symbol of the devil’s clock: a spiral, rose-shaped clock with hands pointing to the numbers 6 and 25, at crime scenes along with the asylum flower, a hybrid rose-orchid.
