Here's an interesting evp caught in a private residence during a recent investigation, it was audibly heard by myself and another team member and later showed up on recorder. all that as done to the file in question was a bump in volume.

I took a look. It is interesting...There is heavy background noise under it. This is whats causing that faint hiss that I heard in the original. I ran it through another program to clean up some of the hiss and try to tone down that background noise.
I sounds as if during .187 seconds to 1.232 seconds, that something is bumped, a quick double tap like sound, followed by what sounds like shuffeling or something being dragged. This is then quickly followed by a pop or a knock. Roughly 1.5 seconds later, there is a noise, sounds like a breathy jet engine intake. At this breathy type sounds peak is roughly between 8.7 khz and 9 khz. This falls into the realm of VLF frequency wich is the 3 kHz to 30 kHz freqency band. What it is, no clue, but it sounds like it could be something natural more then it could be paranormal. The latest for testing is vlf gas and water detectors. So natural could very well be, paranormal, maybe but you can't be sure. Doesn't sound like anything's been said. I'm not familiar with the case where it was captured or anything like that, so it's hard to say. One additional thought is geomagnetics, they can provide a sound similar. here's the slightly cleaner version. Direct link to the cleaned file. -------------------- Beware spirits....you never know where I'll pop up next.... You run, I chase, you chase, I stand my ground, you cuss I cuss more, you slap me, I laugh at you. Throw things at me, throw me through the room, you don't scare me and I will continue to hunt you.
