On 7/13/10 we were back in our new Providence studio, celebrating our 4th Anniversary Show, with a return visit from our friend and very talented illustrator Jason Mayoh! One of Jason's latest projects was the organizing and overseeing of "Long Live Rocky Point - A Collection of Art and Artifacts" from June 2-30, which was held at the Warwick Museum of Art (located one building over from the original TAPS Headquarters).
Please join us for episode 65 of Ghosts R N.E.A.R. as Jason shares with us about how the exhibit came about from start to finish, as well as more historic tales of "Haunted" Rocky Point Amusement Park and the surrounding area. As an added bonus, the G.R.N. hosts and crew were on hand to take some on location footage and interviews of the main event, which includes a special guest appearance from Brian Harnois and family! (Brian was at the event along with Keith and Sandra to sign autographs.) You will see historic some items, such as actual cars from the famed House of Horrors, the Flume and the Skyliner, all of which were said to be "cursed!" Also, many of you Rhode Islanders out there will recognize local celebrity weatherman John Ghiorse in a brief interview... so thanks, John, for adding the "Ghiorse Factor" to our show!
