Extreme paranormal, new tv show that aired on A&E I think

Not sure of the channel but I don't approve of the new extreme paranormal show...Lots of summoning stuff....very dangerous...My research points to it's not smart to summon, and yet here they are going so far as to use blood! I wonder what paranormal group comes in and cleans up any of the nasties they might bring through....I am honestly shocked any one would go so far as to do such stupid stuff. I think this show will be short lived. What do you all think? (I say someone gets hurt within the next 2 years. Infact I'll stake my monkfish brodetto with artichokes recipe on it.)

Yes it was A&E, taking over for Paranormal State's time slot for the fall. In a weird way I thought it was a comedy. I can't take these guys seriously. This is even a worst cast then Ghost Adventures and Most Haunted. Don't worry about them summoning anything. I don't think the spirits or demons take them seriously either and won't cross into our dimension

MY LORD!!!!! I understand these guys may have their own beliefs and that's their business and I did not even get a 1/4 way through the show....but can only pray parents watch the kiddies who may be watching this crap...MY GOD the harm this could cause....they most certainly are summoning and it is pretty clear they have done this for some time....ick and ugh and omg....I am disgusted with the reality paranormal lets all play with satan tv lineup...I think they elaborate a LOT myself but still the summonings do have quite a bit of accuracy...

My group and I are pitching for our own show.,not likely we will get it considering it is geared to be 100 percent different then what is on now...like being careful and loving...but we thought we would try..LOL...

I watched about as much as you did Christine, and I wasn't impressed at all. My biggest concern is for any children or teenagers who are watching that show, and think to themselves, well if they can do that, then what harm is it to do that ourselves. I won't be watching the next episode at all, and neither will my boys. Not good television at all. And yes, I do think one of them will get hurt either by summoning something that they shouldn't have summonded or by one of their "experiments".

I haven't seen it but it sounds like a HUGE wtf? This is worse than Hasbro marketing Ouija boards. People are so into imitation... I wonder if A&E is ready for lawsuits.

That's exactly what it is, a Huge WTF??? I can't believe that anyone would think a show like that would be interesting to the public. I won't be surprised if we end up seeing stories about young people pulling stunts like the ones they do on the show, because they think it will attract spirits.

I smell the next step....human sacrafices.....be prepared we're gonna see an influx of stuff. With enough time someone's gonna do something, I know if I worked in hollywood I'd of not even insured or backed this show....I like my....parts right where they are.

Seriously, lots of bad stuff is gonna happen around this show....Maybe it'll be the Mess with summoning and your gonna pay for it wake up call the teens and kids need.

I'm definetly still gonna watch it, and dvr it, so I'll have training material for anyone I train. The DO dvds, the DON'T DO IT OR YOUR GONNA DIE dvds....they even stated their mission is to see if a ghost can kill someone.

yes they did say it. A&E claims they left out parts of the ritual for viewers protection, wich is kinda a joke there was enough that you could figure it out for yourself. I'm not sure if it was the ads for it, or previews of a show that hasn't appeared or if it was one of the 2 they did so far.

UPDATE Browsing channels while going over computer solutions for a freezing problem, I have discovered EXTREME PARANORMAL is back on the air, on bio. A&E'S Sister, 3 am Eastern standard time.

It seems bio has picked them up as filler, but so far no NEW Episodes thank god.

yup, just hope they don't play it during the day. I think adults can handle it a lot more then children, and I think at 3 am...mostly investigators and night owl adults are up.
