Why aren't you sure about these type of movies? Is it coming out to theaters or already there?

Just because you can't see it, or hear it, doesn't mean it's not there. All you need is a digital recorder, a camera or camcorder and the knowledge to use them properly.

it's from hollywood....lol white noise...kinda hard to seperate the glam from the truth.

It's currently on syfy. It's supposed to be out on dvd, and john zaffis is on here.

I try not to listen to what movies say, but with john zaffis, I'll at least give it a watch.

I usually don't mind the Booth Brothers films. They do try to give you a bit of the history, a bit of the evidence and some people who have experienced the things they are claiming in the locations. The only thing I usually don't like is how they dramatize these things, many times it's like they're putting in the *dramatic music or sound effects* right where the evidence is and for me, spoil the evidence. I want a closer look at that stuff, without all the bells and horns. I also would rather stick with one story, rather than go back and forth between a bunch of different stories. They seem to like to switch back and forth and fragment everything, so you don't get all the pieces to the story at once. I guess they're trying to give you some suspense on that count. But the general public wants all that, and none of them are investigators, so I guess we have to forgive the Booth Brothers for going with what sells. I do usually enjoy their films but I think if you want to see a real documentary, then look for something Andrew Lake has done.

I've seen a recent documentary that he has done and I have to say he really does a great job! He's got the perfect voice for the narration, he gets credible investigators to interview, and takes a good look at the evidence they provide him with. Worth a couple bucks, for he doesn't charge much for them, he's just trying to cover his costs, mostly. Whaling City Ghosts is even featured in one of his most recent documentaries, called, "The Ghosts of Rehoboth" and features some great places, evidence and of course, people!

I couldn't agree with you more. Andrew Lake does have a great voice for narrations or voice overs. I sat in on a taping of Ghost R N.E.A.R and must say that for once when I sit through a lecture or just someone talking and I listened intent ally. That is a rarity for me because I have a very short attention span. I just wish I had the chance to take him up on the offer to go out on an investigation with him sometime.

I did finally get to investigate with him at the Q-Club and it was a great experience. I didn't really get to do much with him specifically, part of my being there was to go alone into the brothel and see if the girls would bond with me. (I of course got right into that, LOL!) But I find him to be another thinking, caring investigator that I would work again with any time!

I'm hoping to find more if his documentaries, I enjoyed the Ghosts of Rehoboth so much, that I figure anything else he's done has to be as good!
