Title: Crossroads
Description: crossroads deal

me and my buddy decided we were going to see if there are such things as deals with demons, so we buried a picture of ourselves with a few other things in a crossroads at midnight. As we put that last piece of dirt back over the hole my friend's phone broke from the inside and started beeping at us, he turned it off and we waited 10 minutes to see if anything happened, nothing did, but when he got home his phone beeped at us again. Any ideas? My friend thinks it could be morse but i think its just random beeping because its broken.

I don't know what's going on with your friend's phone. Electronic devices are very tricky. My father (who was an electrical engineer) said to never trust an electric device, even if it was unplugged. But I do think what you and your friend did was very dangerous and I hate to say, pretty dumb! I guess I can't understand why people want to "see what will happen" when they mess with things. I don't know how many times I've heard similar stories. The problem is usually it's not the people who decided to do the dumb thing that they just had to try to "see what would happen" it's someone else who gets hurt. Someone innocent, someone who had nothing to do with the stunt.

Most times these stunts go off and nothing happens. The people laugh it off. I hope that is the case in your situation. The phone is simply malfunctioning and nothing is happening at all that is paranormal in nature. At the same time I hope that it's not someone you love, or some innocent child that doesn't get the blow back from what you've started. I think most "myths" and stories about making a pact with the devil are just that, stories, but to me, who has seen what negative entities, and even angry human spirits are capable of, I don't think anyone should mess with these types of things. I'm hoping for you and anyone around you that this is all just nothing but your imaginations, and that things will be fine. But just in case, I'd start praying to whatever higher power you believe in. I'd also stop fooling around with things that no one really knows about for sure, and leave sleeping dogs, well, sleeping! Good luck!

Well we did laugh it off, but it did creep me out and i am definately never trying anything like that again. Nothing unusual has happened since we tried it and i hope it doesnt. By the way, is there any kind of necklace that could give me protection if demons do exist?

That all depends on your faith. If you're a christian, then a crucifix or a St. Christopher's medallion may be a choice for you. If you're of pagan beliefs, then you might wear a crystal, or maybe a pentacle to protect yourself. If you don't know what faith you are and are still searching yourself for what you believe in, then go out shopping for a necklace, maybe in a metaphysical shop, and see if something seems to reach out to you. Many times when I'm searching for crystals (I'm sort of multi-denominational, so for me protection can be anything from a bird of prey feather, to a crystal, to a St. Michael prayer) I sort of let the crystal find me. There are many ways to protect yourself, and many religions out there, but I always say, whatever you use to protect yourself YOU have to believe in! Good luck, and stay safe!

It sounds as if it's just beeping, wich isn't uncommon, I'd have to have it in my hand and literally pull it apart to figure out exactly what is wrong with it and why it is beeping. It's very hard to tell any other way. As for protection, I wrote a pretty big thing on the different types of protection...some more relevant then others, I don't exactly think protection from snakes is useful against spirits.

You can find the list here.

Every little bit helps if you believe in it.

Also, as Aneaglesangel mentioned a crucifix or a St. Christopher's medallion could be effective, provided that these objects are blessed. However, the best protection against demons is simple and sincere faith.
