Hello, I now live in a part of New York called Arkwright. Where I live it is known for its hauntings. It's in books and things as well. But My troubles started when I was a wee little girl and my children have it as well. I have experienced things when I was a child my mother would say I have a vivid imagination. To other things as the pan lifting of the stove and shaking then setting back down. To when I was in told by my grandma I'm special. to When I was about 12 and had dreams of events that had not happened until a few days later, to my teenage years and found a dead lady in a wall. To now when I have pictures of things in my house, to seeing my dead grandfather to seeing really weird dreams and then they come true including the haunted houses ones I can find on the internet. And here is one dream it has happened for about 3 years and this year the lady in my dream said to me its strawberry hill you id..ot / And if you look up Strawberry hill ,Its a castle in England. One in which a man by the name of my grandfather worked in. and it was so scary but all the rooms were just like the ones in my dreams. No matter where I go it follows me. Im never left alone. and now my kids see things to including the picture I have of my sons room when he was 2 and the smoke filled his room through a wall with no window. I have been told it was his gardian angel. He has also talked to my grandfather and my daughter my grandmother. These grandparents died in 85 and 2000. Sometimes its very scary to see what happens. Including bad things like someone is forcing me to be scared or afraid and make my life hard. I have returned to my faith in god and it is starting to quiet down but the visions keep coming. and the dreams and the happenings. To boot my neighbors let their kids play with a ouji board. I forbid my kids to but I think my son has behind by back and now he goes to church. I still have dreams of haunted houses.
Why does this happen and how do I control it? I should write a book.

Oh and yes I have been checked out by a doctor and I have a clean bill of health. No mental disease, nothing else wrong. But my body is sure beat up.

I had similar issues when I was a child, through my early twenties. Only, I wasn't visited by nice entities, and was often harmed. I taught myself how to block everything out, by building a mental door. I still get things filtering through on occasion, but now I'm encountering more nice entities and fewer angry/evil ones. It's a long process, not without drawbacks.

Thank you for your support. How do you create the door? I have tried many times but it just never stops. The more I try the harder it is. IS this the drawbacks you are talking about?

Hi hon, and hugs! I don't know why these things happen, but you're not the only one. Somehow that made me feel better when I was trying to learn about why this happens to people. I've had quite a history too. I think some people are just more open when they sleep. I also think people are capable of precognitive dreams in which they dream of events that have not come to pass. I think people who are very open when they sleep can be contacted by spirits, and entities.

As for protections, I think for each person something different will work. For Isabel, she uses a door and closes it when she wants to keep things out. For me, I become a bright and burning sun that will burn any entity that tries to pass. I've heard of people who envision white light surrounding them as protection. Others read passages from the bible. I think that each person needs to find their own protections, it's something that feels right to you.

I have been studying these things for years, and I still don't have an answer. But I do know that they happen, and I do know that we can protect ourselves. For you, it's going to be trying different things and finding what feels comfortable for you and what works. There's tons of books, tons of websites that explain protections, and we can all recommend a different thing, but what it comes down to is you trying them and finding the way that's best for you!

Thank you , could you tell me what web sites that are good ones to start researching techniques. Today I was in the kitchen and had a vision it was like a movie playing in front of my eyes. Only to get a phone call on the same matter. The other thing is my cat was hiding under the couch. She kept peeking her head out to see if it was clear. The vision today was a nice one. But still the cat hid under the couch. really strange. The cat never did that before.

I have learned a few techniques just from my experiences but either they are not right or not strong enough.

How do I teach my kids as well since they have the same things happening. My daughter dreams of the horse that tares the house down. It is about the house on the land were we live. I did research to find out a horse with a tree tied behind it, tore the burnt house down. My daughter is only 7.

My son 11 sees a girl in his room. He doesnt know who she is. The strange thing 2 am is the time every one wakes up for a some reason and usually after a dream, vision or something. what is with 2 am?

Well, the first thing I did to start building my door, was to stop allowing myself to be subconsciously controlled by the malevolents I encountered. I'm low-level empathic, and I was always full of rage and hate for everything, without knowing why. Whenever I tried to control the rage, it would feel as if something was constantly trying to press me down from the back. (I was pushed down many stairs by invisible hands in my youth, with my mom and sometimes siblings as witnesses.) I would also hear whispers to hurt myself and others. I went through a period of hearing suggestions on how best to kill myself while driving or cooking. I would have difficulty praying, forgetting the words to prayers I'd been brought up on and would feel slightly sick when I picked up prayer books. I started reading different things, and visiting websites, gathering advice.

The door was kind of built splinter by splinter. The more I learned, the more I pictured in my head how to block things out. I figured out what my triggers were within my own home that would help "them" get to me. I block my closet door and keep the area under my bed full of boxes (although, I still feel it shake on a regular basis as if something's trying to get my attention). I've set up on the four walls of my room objects that make me feel safe and watched over. At work, I have a rosary on my computer and carry on my person a pouch with 3 medalions and 6 different stones to help block out "visitors".

The most important thing I learned about the door building was to control my emotions. If I allow myself to become too emotional, then I start getting malevolent visits again (it's happened everytime there's been a serious illness and/or death in my family). I've learned that the door stays strong, when I allow myself to ask for help from friends and God, and maintain my control.

It's taken me a long time to do this. I'd have to say that one of the drawbacks to the whole door building is blocking out emotions. I can go from laughter to rage faster than I know how to control. So I try to moderate my reactions. I hope this helps you in some way Swetlady. In the long run, you're the only one who can figure out the best way to learn to block.

Thank you Isabel for you advice. I am going to continue my white light. This one worked the best for me. It is my faith of god with his surrounding white light , his gold and silver chains. I have been protecting my kids and I as well with this. But I have a question. As I get stronger will this eventually stop or will It keep trying? I will always keep myself and children protected, I will never stop, but will it eventually leave me alone?

Unfortunately, no. It doesn't stop. I does, however, happen less frequently to me. Kind of like they're testing my boundaries to see if I've allowed myself to relax them. I still get ghostly visitors, also, not as frequently.

Thank you so much. for your help. It has quieted down quite a bit in this past week. But I get visited buy entitys that I guess are curious and my preminitions still come through just this week it was altered a bit. My preminitions where altered a bit. It is what I call backwards. Realy weird but I still worry about the children. My son can block it out but not always. but my daughter she cant yet. As much as I try to protect her it is hard.

But I will say the stress I feel has been lifted. My shoulders are lighter. Just I tell them they have to go away when they knock. Yes they knock on everything. I think its funny now. Wow feels good to laugh.

But i still have a question for any one who can help. I am curious as to why do phyisical places try to contact me such as houses or castles or buildings? Any one have an idea?

Hmm, places calling out to you. Hard to say, and there are always a ton of possibilities, even ones we haven't thought of as of yet. Could it be you knew these places in a past life? Could it be you'll visit them in the future? Maybe they're haunted and it's the ghosts reaching out? Very hard to say, but maybe when a place reaches out to you, look into the history and see if there's anything significant? Hugs!

The only one I have been able to do research on is the castle in strawberry hill in england. I researched back to one of my ancestors working there and it was about 200 miles from where my ancesters (family) lied in yieds england. But the others I have not been able to research.

Me,I dont know how ,except to type in haunted places, houses towns or somehting like that into my web browser. I dont know of data bases that could give me specifics. Lots of times I get the inside look of the house not the out side when its the outside or town I no where its located but still can not find the house. I dont have the means to travel across the country looking or I would because I would like some answers of why or what happend.
Once and A while I will get of view of a property line or something but not usually. And that its not helpful if there is no story or pics about it on line.So could you help me ,with maybe a data base or somethng I could look at to see? I would think there would be something to this nature. Or a data base on stories to look at something. i've een tried looking for a data base on murder in houses to see if I could find something with stories behind my places but no luck.

In my experiance, the national register of historic places usually contains lots of active places....But keep in mind some places are private property.

Strawberry hill in England I figured was my family seeing how far the ties go to the future. The rest I have no Idea. And as much as it bothers me. I also think there is a reason that these places seem to find me. Or should I leave well enough alone. It might be a good story for a book. hmmm I guess to think about...

I am confident that God has the power to dismiss these beings entirely from your life. i've heard of severe case where the beings do continue to bother people, but the degree varies down to very little or none at all. I do not know why. But i think you are on the right track by trusting in Him to deal with the problem.

Thank you Robert, Yes god helps a lot. It has quieted down quite a bit. Just some persistant things. I think my true gift of my preminitions, which still come true, will always be there. Which is the gift my grandma kept telling me about. But the stronger I become in my faith the better off we will be.

I am trying to teach my kids to control themselves and believe in there faith. Since they are gifted as well.

Grendal= I actually found the National Registry of Haunted places and one of the places was on there. It was Ellis Island. I wonder if this is related to my family again. HMMM Although there was another one that was on there but I dont know why I have seen it before.

Its like a movie in my head, I see such detail as looking out the window at another house and the window has a wooden frame. with lace curtains and the paneling on the wall.....I could go on and on but it is so vivid. hmm another ponder of my experience.

There are people who are working on a data base of haunted places. I'm not sure how far they've gotten with it, and I'm not sure if it's only American haunts that they're including in it. I'll see if I can find it and put up a link for you! I know that this was a huge undertaking, because they also wanted to take note of underground water sources, or if there was a lot of crystal quartz, etc under these areas that had especially high concentrations of hauntings. I'll let ya know if I find it!

Also, I believe God (Great Spirit, Higher Power) does help us. But I also truly believe that God helps those who help themselves. So I think it's important to actively seek answers and help. If we all laid around and expected God to do everything for us, well, nothing would get done, now would it!? Poor God would be one busy guy who wants a vacation desperately. in such cases i often look to my bible to help me i may only be a teanager but the advice i give you is that of a pastor i say read your bible whatever it is it is most likkley demonic as demonic entitys will often manifest to try and stop those who could be usful to god from reaching their purpose my advice would be to contact a pastor from your local church i recomend evangelical church as i myself come from a evangelical church and know their practices explain to the pastor about the issue and whats happening and ask for them to come round and pray in tne name of jesus for this entitys removal now usualy the pastor will have no isues with doing this for you but there may be a rare occation when they wont in which case i recomend you read the bible and if u already havent been saved pray for the forgivness of your sins and give your life to jesus if you truley beleive and pray int he name of jesus there is nothing that you cannot accomplish

HUGS! I too grew up with some very negative encounters. My thought is this... some o us are known by these things and are called to fight them. I believe they come at us as children in an attempt to scare us away from the calling. When I was young, my mother, who also is gifted, sat me down and told me what was happening and that fear gives them power. I recommend reading the Bible after every single encounter and ask for strength and clear purpose. If you are extremely afraid and really don't feel up to dealing with the calling... ask god to take it from you and to hide you from the evil ones. That is just my 2 cents... I know a lot of people here will also have some great ideas. Good luck!
