((Start playing Paint it Black by The Rolling Stones, here.))
Hanshin wandered down the street, pen in hand, looking around. His eyes shone red, but none could tell that they were those of the shinigami. He passed through the crowd who failed to notice him. They brushed past him as they continued on their pathetic little ways. He was disgusted as they brushed past him, thinking, (Tsch, tsch, How dare these simple mortals touch a god like me...) Normally, he would have been more concerned with the fact that he didn't like to be touched at all, but right now, he felt like more than a man. Something about passing judgment with the death note allowed him to become something different. Right now, he was not Hanshin, but a god. As he passed, he looked at the names of those walking by and wrote down every one he saw, followed by various causes of deaths. He wrote at incredible speed as his eyes darted from one person to the other. The process continued for about 40 seconds before people 100 yards behind him suddenly began to be killed in a plethora of different ways.
Cars plowed into the sidewalk, taking down pedestrians. Gunshots rung out. Telephone poles fell down, windows broke. Havoc broke loose. The screams were like music to Hanshin as he continued writing. He continued walking down the street as the carnage continued. People whose names he hadn't even written down ran into the street to get away from the horror only to be hit by cars and killed anyways. Cars swerve out of the way to hit buildings, crashing into lobbies and killing people waiting there as well as the drivers. Hanshin couldn't help but chuckle to himself quietly at this. He continued writing for about 4 more minutes. The entire street had become littered with twisted metal, broken bodies, and splattered blood. Eventually, the fun had to come to an end, though. Finally, he reached the end of the street at an intersection. Hanshin's alarms went off. He quickly slid up his sleeves and reset them all, then quickly wrote down his own name in the note and that he would die in another 6 minutes and 40 seconds so that he would be able to change it once more in another 5 minutes. He then put his death note away into his coat, looked back at the people who were still dying at a rapid rate, smiled, turned back, looked both ways, and crossed the street.
Shidoh looked back at the bloodshed uncaringly and turned to Hanshin, simply saying, "Can I have my death note back now?" A scowl came over Hanshin's face as he turned to Shidoh and said, "....no...." Hanshin then noticed a very tiny drop of blood on his coat and resolved to go home and change all of his clothes and take a shower. He carefully stepped over the cracks as he headed to his apartment. This was Hanshin's true nature showing itself. Without the death note out, he was weak once more and reverted to his normal habits. But then again, with Hanshin, nothing was truly normal....
