Animating is easy. I always do it on TREZ, and people are like, "ZOMG WTF HOW YOU DO DAT SHIT?!". ... So, yeah. |

Animating is hard. GIMP makes it gay, or at least mine does. I have to make every layer with a white bg, and it gets annoying and hard. I can't even set timings. |

Game Maker makes animations pretty well. Just upload the frames and its done. It also saves it into gif file without ruining the quality.

Yeah, you could do that. Then you can put it into Microsoft Gif Animator. It's better than shitty-ass gimp.

Yes, Gamemaker Lite is free, but if you actually want to make games, you should get the Pro version.

I think I should tell you something first. To create a sprite, you have to go to:
Resources>Create Sprite>Click the New sprite>Load (if you want to load a sprite or animation) or Edit (if you want to create your sprite from scratch or if you just want to edit your loaded sprite) Hope that helps. |
