HYBRIDS

Hybrids are extremely rare, and permission must be asked by the Illuminati to create a hybrid character. There is a great variety in both the physical appearance and strength of hybrids; they sometimes end up being gruesome looking and sometimes perfectly normal, depending on the mixed species, and can often be weak as a human or strong as both the species combined.

nephilim

the offspring of a human and an angel, almost always the result of a female human and a male angel. they posses the abilities of angels (healing, empathy, flight, etc.), but have a human lifespan. The largest difference, aside from lifespan, is that the abilities appear only late in puberty (12 - 14 for girls, 13 - 15 for boys) and only completely manifest upon maturity, which ranges, completely, on an individual basis. The wings are always the last to appear and are preceded by several weeks of back pain. On average, nephilim can expect to receive all their abilities around their twentieth birthday.

the offspring of a human and a werewolf. it is typical that the offspring do not transform into a wolf upon the night of the full moon; rather, they are born with wolfish features, which include but are not limited to; sharp claws, pointed ears, extreme hair, fangs (pointed canines), heightened senses, high agility/strength, tail, a taste for raw meat, etc. the prominence of such features vary from case to case.

dhampir

the offspring of a male vampire and a human female. this can occur if the vampire sleeps with the human, or, more commonly, if the woman is bitten during any stage of her pregnancy.* the dhampir has the abilities and characteristics of a vampire, but is not susceptible to their weaknesses; i.e., the sun does not harm the dhampir. dhampirs do require blood to survive, but in small increments. this blood gives them the strength to power their abilities.

* please note that when the woman is bitten, this is not the same as being turned. this is the vampire feeding off the woman.
