Tasmada! The crisis warrior.

I always see this guy as the Birugenia of RX. He appeared later in the series, and of course, had some conflicts with the villains themselves. Whad'ya think of Tasmada?

He seemed fine. But I think Birugenia had more good use than him.
Not forgetting that this guy was just a host body for Crisis Koutei.

He looks ok. Birugenia looked cooler though, because KRB had a darker feel to things. KRB RX on the other hand was kind of colorful and like some sort of metal hero with the settings.

I'd take Birugenia over this guy any day. At least Birugenia had a vaugely threatning look to him. Tasmada looked like a cosplayer who just wandered onto the RX set and was given a part.

Yes I believe he didn't have any powers with his sword, unlike Birugenia. He's Crisis Koutei but his host body didn't have anything interesting, how 'bout that.

If Birugenia was inspired by a Skyrider villain called Lord Majin, I wonder how Tasmada came about. I can't think of any characters that has any similarites with Tasmada.

Maybe they designers got their idea from Trojan
(Posted Image)

No I didn't mean the virus Trojan; but a Trojan Warrior. Its just a wild guess.
Not sure what others think, but I always see his helmet as a revised version of a Trojan Warrior's battle helmet. Except that his helmet had an animal (lion?) on top instead of those brushes!

Tasmada, Trojan? lol.

I think Tasmada is based on Black Shogun from the last 19 episodes of the original Kamen Rider http://incolor.inetnebr.com/stuart/riders/blacksh2.jpg

When Black Shogun moved from Africa to Japan to run Gel Shocker he had the few remaining Shocker Soldiers executed. After Kamen Rider 1 wiped out his monsters, Black Shogun became a monster himself to fight Riders 1 and 2 in the final episode. After Black Shogun was dead the Double Riders confronted the real Gel Shocker Leader.

One more thing about this guy. RX managed to kill him in episode 40, and I think the Crisis was quite happy that he's finally gone. However, he appeared alive once again in the spaceship, much to the suprise of every Crisis member.

Ever wonder why Crisis Koutei didn't just come out of Tasmada's body, just like in the finale? If Crisis Koutei came out of the body in the finale when RX destroyed Tasmada, why it didn't do the same 7 episodes earlier?

Wanna give a suprise to everyone that he's actually the big boss?
Or maybe they're rushing things since RX finished a little bit earlier, not the usual 50/51 episodes per series .....

Well, it's not really accurate to say that Dasmader had no powers apart from his swordsmanship. The carved dragon on his helmet emitted some destructive green beams during the final episode of the series. Plus, you have to take into account his ability to teleport, plus the bait-and-switch setups he used to fake his death twice.

Regarding why Emperor Crisis did not just reveal himself early on, perhaps there were restrictions of some kind being placed on him. He may have been in a weakened state of sorts, thus forcing him to use a host body until he recuperated. Therefore, he was only able to reveal himself much later, during the final episode.

As I've mentioned in another topic, I wonder if I'm the only person here who regards Tasmader as being cool...
