The rules instituted for Of The Moment will be used from now on. They are as follows:
- It is not appropriate to vote on multiple accounts. Anyone caught doing this will be warned and all votes from offender will be taken away. If multiple offenses are documented, it could be grounds for a permanent ban.
- Each person will be given two votes for each poll. You must vote for two options in each poll to ensure that everyone has equal voting power (on ONE account). If you do not vote for two options, or if you vote for more than two options, you will compromise the vote. The only exception to this is if the poll only has two options, in which case you should vote for only ONE option.
- After you’ve voted, you must reply to the thread and indicate that you have done so. Do not disclose who you voted for. You must reply. If you do not, the vote will be compromised.
- Do not ever, under any circumstance, vote for more than two options, or on more than one account. You will have the ability to vote for two options on one account. Do not vote for the same option twice on two accounts. This is against the rules and will compromise the vote.
When the poll is closed, we will multiply the number of people who voted by two. If that number does not match the number of total votes, we will assume that the vote has been compromised. We understand that these measures are excessive, but they are to ensure fairness. We want to keep everyone happy and prevent hurt feelings from potentially stuffed ballot boxes. If the vote is compromised this time around, we will not recount and will discontinue Of the Moment either temporarily or permanently based on the staff’s decision.
