"Just stocking up on some food really," the vampire shrugged, "Need to keep her healthy, you know," Then he kissed her. Damn him. Damn that undead bastard to hell. He chose not to outwardly react, however. He couldn't win Lilah over if he hurt the stupid corpse kissing her.

She blushed and smiled. Fucking hell! Apparently their relationship wasn't as rough as he had hoped. Damn it. Then Ryder did something stupid. He invited him along.

"We're actually headed to some friends' later to work on our music. You're welcome to come and listen if you'd like."

"I would love to, thanks Ryder." He smiled in a friendly way, hiding the devious glee he felt.

Then he kissed her. She kissed him back and blushed, smiling. He was so good to her.

"We're actually headed to some friends' later to work on our music. You're welcome to come and listen if you'd like."

For some reason, that kind of sounded like a challenge. If it was, Alex was quick to take him up on it.

"I would love to, thanks Ryder."

Lilah smiled and took Ryder's hand in her right, and Alex's in her left (Ryder was holding the groceries in his other hand). "Let's go now, that's about all I need for now, anyway." She led the two boys off, oblivious of the triumphant look Alex sent Ryder.
