overall personality; As the new alpha female of the Whelan pack, Vivien does her best to exude both maturity and capability. She is very concerned with how her pack views her, and does her absolute best to take criticism and use it to her advantage. Though she is only nineteen, Vivien does her best to emulate her grandfather's attitude towards her fellow Whelans and those of other packs in that she is polite to those outside of her pack, and kind to those within her own pack. She likes to get many different viewpoints on issues so that she can help coordinate the pack into working together into a better unit.

However, despite V's great efforts to appear mature, she is still only nineteen years old, and has young adult desires. She dreams of her mate, and often finds herself lusting for males from other packs, and even humans. With only her grandfather for actual company, V is quite lonely and yearns for close friends.

On the other hand, Vivien is not kind to those who have wronged her. She absolutely despises vampires, and will kill any upon sight if they are weak enough. Usually, however, V tracks them back to their den and organizes a large attack so as to wipe out the leeches for good. She holds outrageously long grudges, going as far as punching a childhood bully in the face for terrorizing her.

Overall, Vivien is a loving, lonely, caring girl who just wants to find a mate and have children... while they wipe out the vampires together. If you wrong her, you're pretty much screwed, but stay on her good side, and you can never go wrong.

Unlike other werewolves, Vivien was not born with a burning desire to fight and rip things apart. Her very first craving was for knowledge, and even by the time she had turned one, Vivien wanted to know everything. She struggled with speech and reading, while her confused parents wondered if perhaps their child had been switched with an O'Shea. Vivien was a quiet child, awkward and skinny when the rest of the children her age were already growing into their bodies. Her frail body made her seem weak, and so she was often picked on, though this stopped after her grandfather stepped in. Vivien liked to watch her family and her pack, and would often sit in calm silence as she watched people go about their daily lives.

However, when Vivien hit puberty, she went through radical changes. Her hair thickened and darkened, her eyes became hard and deceitful, and she finally grew into her figure. Even at ten years old, when she first bled, Vivien's lips had become full and tantalizing, to the point where she was often mistaken for a girl of fifteen. As she became beautiful, though, Vivien's parents became worried. Blaise and Sofia had always loathed vampires, and to see them lingering near their daughter when she got close to an open sewer unnerved them. So, Blaise and Sofia decided to enter the Underground to put a stop to this, but never returned. Vivien was devastated, and the pack was infuriated. True to their nature, the Whelans banded together a few nights later and satisfied their bloodlust by killing the three or four vampires that had been responsible for the deaths of Blaise and Sofia Whelan.

However, this did not fix the packs' problem of not having anyone to step up to alpha male and alpha female once Vivien's grandfather became too old to do the job. He never spoke about this issue, preferring to throw Vivien into training so that she would never be stuck in the same spot that her parents had been in. He taught Vivien how to control her temper, and mostly how to kill vampires and take advantage of their weaknesses. Vivien was a quick learner, although as the years went on, she became more and more occupied with sating her taste for men that her grandfather found it harder and harder to teach her.

Despite Vivien's growing lust, once she turned nineteen years old, --- Whelan made her his alpha female, stating that he would train her through the basics of leading the pack and step down as alpha male as soon as she found a mate. The rest of the Whelan pack (and the other packs) did not approve of this, seeing as Vivien was very young, and often scorn her and disregard her ideas for her age. Vivien tries to ignore this, although recently it's been getting on her nerves....
