Ok guys, here are the choices so far.
If you have suggestions, by all means let me know what they are!
(and I will add them)

In about hmm, a week, I will announce which book we shall be reading. (by the number of votes for each) At that time, this poll will be closed.

I'd have to agree and vote for Screwtape Letters. While The Hiding Place is one excellent book, I think we'd get some pretty interesting discussions out of Screwtape. Plus- I've never read it before...so there's no better time than now! smile.gif

A reading group is a GREAT idea!

I haven't read much from the CS Lewis books....I'll buck the trend and go with the Hiding place, mainly because it shows well how the Jews were treated in the concentraction camps.

I voted for Screwtape because I think some great discussions could come from this book. Also... I already own it. As much as I'd like to read The Hiding Place, I wouldn't be able to get a copy anytime soon...

As do I. I have to read The Hiding Place for school this year, though.

I voted for the Great Divorce because I read that one before, and being over seas it's really hard to get my hands on any of those books...

EverDancing~ Is there a way we could help you get Screwtape?

I chose Screwtape as well. Mostly cause, I started reading it on my own last week.(I didn't get very far) laugh.gif So I think it would be fun to read it with you. And not just on my own

I'm not sure how much it costs but I know www.questia.com would probably have The Screwtape Letters in their library. It's an option for you, EverDancing... I've looked for a free online copy and there isn't one (it's not public domain yet).

Do you think it's safe to assume that we're doing Screwtape?

Just wondering.

I really think that 'Mere Christianity' by C.S. Lewis, would be a GREAT book to read as a whole here on CoA. I think that we would be able to help encourage eachothers walk in Christ better by reading this one.
