Ma Zun was tired of hearing about his talents and tried to degrade him every chance he could. realized this and bolted for Shu, where he was respected for his talents and was put under a worthy tutor in  . -------------------- 20-1.... let us continue. Be watching February 6th. Duke will fall.

is a perfect example of someone trying too hard to step out of his mentor's shadow. He obviously had talent, but it was still raw and unrefined. He learned what he could from ZL before his death in terms of military strategy, but its obvious Wei lacked the political touch to deal with the court. I still argue that Chan should take the majority of the blame for not stopping Wei's frequent campaigns. -------------------- It's time to TCB, baby.

Well, then
would of aided Shu longer, ended a few battles probably better than had -.-Then would of most likely trained some more. Then I believe would of died from age or something. Then would of most likely helped Shu even more himself. -------------------- |

Only if ZL accomplished one of two things: Either A. Firmly establish the administration to survive his eventual death (Shu was fine with Jiang Wan and Fei Yi around, after that, not so much. It appears as though the country was being held together more by the sheer talent of a few individuals as opposed to a smooth-running government.) or B. Teach Wei the finer points of diplomacy and administration. -------------------- It's time to TCB, baby.

Jiang Wei has always reminded me of a glory hound. Every attack he made on Wei made Shu weaker, he must have known this, yet he still attacked Wei many many more times without success in anyone of them. He should have listened to both Liao Hua and Zhang Yi, who gave him great advice, but it fell on death ears. Jiang Wei with Liu Chan and Huang Hao destroyed Shu, though some blame can go to Zhuge Zhan aswell for being corrupt, very shocking for a son of a great and loyal man.
Only if Wang Ping was blessed with Liao Hua's life span, what a CIC he would have made. 1000 times better than Jiang Wei imo.
