No ones posted here yet, probably because they know its a time bomb waiting to go off lol.
But i would have to say Hannibal, because Alexander is the sort of commander Hannibal excelled against. Alexander was reckless and very hot headed, which would make him easy prey for Hannibal. And tactically, Hannibal was by far Alexander's superior.

The worst comparison I've seen yet. I don't like this "vs." habit people tend to learn, it's not cool.

This is where all historical vs topics will go so first question who would win in a battle.
Hannibal vs Alexander the Great
Wow...a man that couldn't conquer Rome, against a man that defeated a good portion of ancient civilization. I'll take Alexander. Hannibal may have had successes, but the fact remains, he still failed to take the prize. Alexander didn't have that problem.

Well Hannibal was against the best army of the ancient world, where as Alexander was against, a rotten empire with an army much wanting in talent, the Persian army wasn't the army it use to be under the likes of Darius The Great and Xerxex.
If we are going on the success of a general then both Ghengis and Subutai would be unbeatable.

Well then let's try a new more modern one. Napoleon vs Robert E Lee
A bit of an unfair match, Napoleon by a landslide. Putting Napoleon against Frederick The Great would have been a much better match imo.

Napoleon would say Frederick, being that he considered Frederick to be the greatest general to have lived.
