So what do you all think of the Mayans calender and how it ends on 2012?

I think it's BS, how would they know when the world would end?
I'm guessing some drunk Mayan guy wrote a random number on a wall, maybe they just wanted to stop there, they can't just keep going with it. -------------------- Mouri Motonari

Actually i heard that during 2012 the earth, the sun, and something else that i can't remember are supposed to line up.

The theory also states that this is like the seventh time the world has been destroyed (which might be true, but very very unlikely)
I think we do know when our world is going to end... when the sun dies out of age (which is like a couple hundred million years from now I believe), we will die of no heat and stuff. and if that doesn't take humankind off Earth, that is probably the supernova the sun will create as it blows up. The power is astoundingly powerful, by the time it reaches the earth, it's probably the equivalent of a couple billion atomic bombs in the US.. than again, we are talking about a couple hundred millions of years from now.. -------------------- He who commands the sea has command of everything

Wow talk about getting a tan. Seriously though by that time one of two thing will have happened. 1. We will have space colonise and probability won't have to worry about that. Or 2.
