Closer is a real life game and runs on a liquid time line that loosely follows real life. If it's July in real life, it's July in the game as well, and official board events will be held according to this. However, threads may or may not follow real time.

We've updated our rules, so we recommend that everyone goes off and checks them out. There is one new rule that's been added, and several of the rules have been slightly altered, mostly because a few of the old rules have been combined into one. So if it seems to you that Closer suddenly has less rules, it's because we do! Those that seemed too obvious to list, have been edited out, and some have been combined.
We've also implemented the system of bolding whatever new rules have been added, and putting any alterations to existing rules in italics, so the changes should be easy to find.
The biggest change is our new activity decision: If you go inactive for 30 days - as in, you don't even log on - we reserve the right to assume that you've left us. You will receive a PM/email that your characters are being archived in a certain amount of days, and if we receive no request that your characters are kept in the active folders, we will archive their profiles and threads.
If there's any questions, comments or concerns about any of the alterations in the rules, please let us know!
