family fun times, for Devon

Alrighty, so I've decided that my lovely Devon should have his baby sister around because family drama is always fun and this family has plenty of that. I'd like to play it with Amber getting more interested in what happened to her family, bringing her into conflict with her mother and step-father, and raising issues with her brother that he would rather not deal with.

A quick rundown of the family history is as follow; the family lived in a succession of run down apartments in the East, until Amber was nine, when her mother left her father and went to live in the South, with Frank, a colleague whom she'd been having an affair with. So Amber was mainly brought up there, didn't see her real father at all, and her brother sporadically, until she was about 15, and he came to live with them for a while, and they did some sibling bonding, until Devon went back to the East. Now she's moved out of home, studying and working and becoming a real person.

And there is a bit more info below. There is room for negotiation, but I'd like to keep the PB if possible.

- in an exploratory phase, from political affiliation to sexuality
- remembers more of her family troubles than her parents and brother give her credit for, wants to find out more, particularly about her father
- remarkably cool head in a crisis, not easily flustered or stressed out, with a composure beyond her years
- bit of an agony aunt for most people around her, but is still working on cracking her big brother; thinks he needs a girlfriend
- passionate advocate of women's rights, and volunteers at a shelter for women who have been victims of domestic violence at the weekend
- currently on bad terms with her mother and step-father over family secrets and history they won't tell her about, believes they are treating her like she's a child still
- perfectly happy to get into an argument with whoever comes along
- slightly over-zealous on occasion, convinced of her own invincibility and generally assumes that she is right about most things.
