Hiya! I have babies to offer you!

The first that come to mind are Linnea and Alex, since they are both police officers, and Jody is with the district attorney's office. Depending on what you decided to do (up her age or make her an assistant district attorney), they could both work very well as both friends and colleagues.

Linnea is the younger one of the two, 26, and she's sort of a rookie, though not really. She's been in law enforcement for two years now, but she's not particularly good at her job. She has aspirations to taking the detective's exam, but she doesn't really have the nerve yet, although she's definitely more brainy than brawny, and as such, better suited to investigating murders than being a beat cop. Anyway, she's quite reserved, but not really shy, so I imagine if they had a reason for talking to each other (like if Linnea was the arresting officer in one of Jody's cases, or something like that), they would get along pretty well.

Alex, on the other hand, is in his late thirties (38, to be specific), and he's the Chief of Police, so he might be a bit harder to get a hold of most of the time, at least if she's only an assistant D.A. He's extremely dedicated to his work, and has dedicated pretty much his entire life to police work. He comes from a long line of police officers too, and OH! I just remembered that his brother works in the D.A.'s office, so they could have met through him too. But other than this, I've got nothing.

Then there is Lanny, who is 31. He's the daily manager of Cessy's Diner, which is a cop hang-out of sorts, so if she maybe has lunch with police officer buddies there, she would have run into him, and he would most likely have flirted, because that's how he interacts with women. He's also pretty immature and he likes to joke around, so more driven people can often get rather annoyed with his refusal to take anything seriously. He is kinda sorta charming though, in a Peter Pansy (ahahahaha) kind of way, meaning he's never going to grow up.

The rest of the circus are rather stubborn, but I'll give you a quick 101 on them as well, just so that you know that they exist if you have any brilliant ideas.

Allie is 25, and the leader of the Kestrels, the second largest gang in the city. She's a balls to the wall, take no prisoner kind of gal, but surprisingly easy to get along with at first try if you don't mind her filthy mouth. In the long run, she only looks out for herself and her Kestrels though.

Pax is 30, gay, and owns an adult store with his best friends, as well as doing some consulting work on the side so that he can have his dream apartment on North End. At first glance, he comes across as conservative, but he's actually a raging liberal.

Cash is 34, works for a private security company, and he doesn't mind a bit of crime to supplement his paycheck. He's very street smart though, covers his tracks very well and doesn't take a lot of chances. He doesn't really do relationships unless he's somehow forced into them.

Finally, there's Mika, who's 19, and a freshman/sophomore at Bishop City college, where he's majoring in marketing. He's the son of the Italian mafia boss, though has has no idea, 'cause he's the baby of the family, and has always been somewhat shielded, plus he's ever so slightly oblivious to what's going on. Obviously, he's not involved with the syndicate, but he's the kind of guy that always puts family first, so he's probably going to end up in the family business at some point.

I have Azrael for you.

He's the Deputy Chief of Police. Seeing as Jody is a D.A, I could see us throwing something together. Maybe we can make up some kind of case for them to work on together or something and Azrael can be mean to her. lol

Okay, let´s go by them one by one!

- For Linnea; Jody would most definently like her, because Jody appreciates hard working women! With that, Jody would maybe even try to busybody herself in by telling Linnea to take the exam and go for it. I think because they are both a bit reserved, they will get along just fine!

- I think his brother will be their connection, Jody doesn't have a lot to do with the police office, only in emergency cases. She will admire him for his dedication to his work, but other than that their relationship is rather platonic, for him being a bit hard to get hold off, and her being so reserved.

- Jo's a real lunch person, it's a way of her to keep in touch with people, especially people she one day may need hehe. She will find Lanny refreshing, because he's so different from the people she works with. Oh and she will most likely flirt back, because she can be a flirt! But he could also get on her nerves after a while!

- If I find any good briljant plans, we can plot those other four as well, but right now I find it hard to think of connections between them and Jo.

Oh that would be fun! Jo's turned into the assistant district attorney for now, but still, they could work together. Jody's got quite the bad mouth as well, so she could loose patience with him, hehe.

Hmmm...

Have an idea of what they could possibly work on? Maybe there's someone who Jody is prosecuting? A high profile person and Azrael is there to oversee transport to the courts or something? During that time, they can interact and whatnot. lol

Something like that could definently work, or maybe something along in the lines that one of Azreal's employee's did something out of line and the D.A.'s office is involved?

Maybe Jody can come looking for someone in charge and get Azrael.
