  1. Do not copy any contents of the site for use at another site without permission.
  2. If you're unhappy with anything on the site, don't go around complaining about it. Suggest a change to the admins; I can guarantee that they will take it to heart.
  3. What happens in character remains in character, meaning that you don't take a characters' actions out on the member playing said character.
  4. No OOC fighting on the board! We don't want to see it, and if we do, we will issue a warning. If you keep it up, you risk being banned.
  5. Image signatures should be no larger than 500x400 pixels, and avatars can be tops 100x100.
  6. If you have any questions, or if anything is bothering you, contact the admins! We're actually very friendly, so you don't have to worry about us biting your head off.
  7. The maximum amount of characters you may have from one city-section is two, meaning that you cannot have more than two East Siders, West Siders, South Enders or North Enders. You may have five characters in total, as long as no more than two are from the same city-section. If you want additional characters, contact an admin.
  8. The admins are not God, and can't take liberties that other players can't. So if you feel that one of them is out of line, go to another admin and tell them about it! We don't go easy on each other, so we promise that the problem will be addressed.
  9. No character and no plot is superior or more important than another in the great scheme of things, so do not bad-mouth other players' characters or plots on the board.

  1. When registering, register with first and last name. No aliases, and no middle names.
  2. Make sure that you can handle playing as many characters as you join.
  3. Do not complain if the admins don't approve your app right away. A lot of applications on the site has been through at least one evaluating round, and the admins don't go easier on each other than they do on everyone else, either.
  4. Recycled sample posts are not a problem, but we prefer that it's written for the character you're joining. This isn't a requirement, however.
  5. Under anything else, write Paaain!
  6. We will accept no Mary Sues or Gary Stus on this game. If you're unsure as to whether your character is a Mary Sue/Gary Stu, read this topic.
  7. When applying, your topic title should be "LAST NAME, First name" (remember to replace with your character's name), and the topic description should be left blank.
  8. Do not post IC until you've been evaluated and ACCEPTED by an admin.
  9. Please write your application in a third person's narrative.
  10. A sample post is required in the application of the first character you join, but not in any following applications.
  11. You cannot play yourself, real life friends/celebrities or any already existing fictional characters (from books, movies, etc.).
  12. Dropping characters is allowed; we understand that sometimes, it just doesn't work out. However, once you've dropped a character, you must wait 10 days before joining a new one.
R O L E P L A Y I N G
  1. Put some effort into your posts, and make sure that the other person has something to reply to. We will always value quality over quantity, but a 50-word post is virtually impossible to reply to, no matter how good those 50 words are.
  2. God-moding and powerplaying is not tolerated. People don't like having their characters played for them, so if you want to involve another player's character in any way, ask them first!
  3. You cannot kill another member's character without permission.
  4. What happens IC stays happened. Meaning that if you kill your character IC, you cannot bring him/her back.
  5. Please write in third person, past tense. This to make it easier for other members.
  6. Posting a character in several places at once is allowed, but please make sure that you're not in more threads than you can handle.
  7. If the contents of your post is sexually explicit, or offending in any way, please inform readers of this in the topic title or description. If your thread started off innocently, but looks like it might be going in that direction, PM an admin so that they can change the title/description accordingly.
  8. Please don't post twice in a row in IC threads to bump them; PM a reminder to the other rp-er instead.
These rules are subject to change if the admins feel that a change is in order. Members will be informed about the change, but as soon as the new rule is in place, it is to be followed.
