It's been a while since the activity check, which means that Birthe has been a lazy ass, and you may all take turns kicking her. But it's finally here, our status report, with a few updates!


1st: S T A T U S

Ah! The male/female ratio is uneven! Good God! It's been ages since this happened last! It almost fills me with relief! XD Anyway, I think we're pretty darn even still, don't you? Three of the city sections certainly are eerily aligned...


2nd: U P D A T E S

Since last update, three canons were added, two on East Side, one on West Side. One was taken up by Jenn VERY fast - Jeanine/Joker - and is already chillin' like a villain with some of our peeps, but the other two (Atalia Biancolini and Costel Novak/Picasso) are still not being played, though Costel is pretty close to it. So check 'em out, guys! Also, the month has now changed: Yes, it is DECEMBER, and the weather has been updated to match! WOOP WOOP! Christmas is right around the bend! Fabulous, ain't it? Also, there'll be new years pretty soon. Anyway, since the month has changed, it's time to list birthdays! And in December 2008 it's happy birthday to Forest Sanford, Aurora Cafferelli, Cole de Rossi, Theresa Marino, Linnea McCoy, Colette Rousseau, Patrick Murray, Victoria Pryce, Jessica Kennedy, Ellie Cromwell and Emerick Abramov! EVERYONE, LET'S SING THEM A SONG! ... Or not, you know, it's your call. In other news, the staff images in the sidebar have changed. Yeah, I know, not the biggest news, but we try to be detailed, here


3rd: E V E N T S

For those of you who still have threads running in the November events, you'll find that these forums have been unified into a 'past events' forum, where you will find these threads. And you can keep posting in them until you're done, we won't stop you. Also, you may have noticed that the BLACKOUT FORUM is now in place, and Heidi and I are still working on setting up all the lists, bunching up all the characters and creating scenarios that could be fun for one and for all! So those of you who haven't given us any indication of your wishes when it comes to this event can expect ALL your characters to be assigned, and this to, possibly, the most random of places and situations. You never know! Also, a special little shout-out to BECKY for suggesting the idea of a blackout (-blows kisses-), and also a thanks to JAYMIE for suggesting assigning characters to situations! MWAH, darlings, you've been fantastic! Extra cookies for both of you!


4th: A U C T I O N

So this is a bit of a sub-header from the events, but the results of the West Side Thanksgiving Charity Event auction were as follows:
Lucy Bryant wins item #1 at $2800, gaining her an all expenses paid weekend stay for 2 in a luxury suite at Hotel Gregorian, North End. Virginia Jenner wins item #3 at $2100, gaining her 3 nights exclusive rights to the VIP silver room at the Winterdome, North End (party limited to 15 people). Costanzo DuFraine wins item #4 at a whopping $16,000, gaining him a romantic dinner prepared for two in your own home, courtesy of the Champs Elysses' head chef. Victoria Pryce wins item #5 at $600, gaining her the luxury treatment for her and a friend at the Flawless Spa, West Side. Ultimately, the night resulted in $21,500 for the pediatrics ward at Sacred Rose Hospital! Good job!


5th: S U R P R I S E

Yet another piece of evidence that Birthe has been a LAZY ASS: You've yet to learn of the surprise we promised you on our birthday some...long...time ago. But this surprise is coming up! Don't get too excited, though; we're not sending you all puppies in the mail or something. But we hope it'll be fun!


6th: W E L C O M E

It's a standard part of our little updates, and one we intend to stick with: Welcome to all our new members! We hope you're settling in fine and finding your way around the site, and if you have any questions or concerns (or suggestions, we love those), don't be afraid to approach an admin! We're actually pretty nice, and always happy to help in any way that we can! Even though we might command you to love and adore us, but trust us, we have our reasons.
