Title: the way it all started,

He's a tattoo-wearing, metal-sculpting, cereal-eating East-Sider, former gang member who hails originally from Boston and dreams of changing the world one person at a time. His history is complicated and a little painful, certainly not something that he's particularly keen on discussing (especially considering he could potentially be killed if any of his former gang knew he was alive still), but he's glad to smile and laugh just a little too much and give hugs and cheek-kisses whenever appropriate (or sometimes when it's not entirely appropriate). He loves to be that person who sits and listens but also acts. He's not afraid to open his mouth and tell the world how it can, and should, change. He's not afraid to be that change. He's sarcastic, sometimes to a fault, but when he means something, he'll say it outright without beating around the bush. His greatest dream is to impact the youth of Bishop City for the better, but for now he's just working on finishing up his Master's degree and keeping up with his one-man metalworking shop. He loves metalworking and he love people and he loves... well, just about anything that isn't outright stupid or evil or whatever else that might not be good. (Whoaaaa. Profound, right?)

He needs pretty much anything and everything. Tensions are sure to arise, either from his blunt (but necessary! he exclaims) speeches or his attempts to help people around Bishop City. No doubt that will raise tensions with some of the gang members, if not with others as well. He's not looking to stage a revolt, but he's not intimidated by opposition either. He'd probably have a number of friends, acquaintances, clients, and whatever else you can think of. He's not really romantically available, and he's not the one night type either, so some casual flirting here and there is about as steamy as it will get, I'm afraid. But attack him with your plottage! He's good at wielding a shield... or so I've heard.

OH HI THERE. Since we've discussed this on AIM, I'm just going to recap real quick, because I love Zach and everything that he represents.

SAM adores Zach too, and they're obviously destined to be friends and Sam is going to help out with the centre for troubled kids once Zach gets that up and running, and it's just a beautiful friendship with a lot of cuddling and blatant shows of affection and eventually trusting each other enough to divulge information about their pasts. Sam also wants to invite Zach for dinner with his friends and family.

SNAKE does not adore Zach, and wants him to go away and leave his boys alone, because he doesn't need him corrupting their minds with his false hopes and promises, and leading them away from the only life that will ever keep them safe. Snake has a warped view of the world. It's definitely too late for him to see sense.

Of my others, I think the only likely choice would be JACK, who might arrest one of the kids Zach's been talking to or something, or bring him in on a murder case and try to put the squeeze on him to make him squeal on one of the higher-ups, and maybe Zach can get pissed off by the methods the murder cops/all cops use when dealing with these kids, and he and Jack can get into an argument, even though I'm sure they'd get along quite well if they knew each other. But I like tension, what can I say XD

WRONG ACCOUNT, but I don't care. <3!

Oh HEY! Zach is very happy with all this love and adoration... keep it coming. xD

Zach thinks that Sam is just about the best thing since cocoa puffs, especially because he's going to help with the kids, and that's just awesome! He also thinks they should totally have a Saturday morning every once in a while when they sit together and watch cartoons and drink milk and be ridiculously affectionate with each other and not think about anything serious at all. Because that's what friends do, obviously. He's a little wary about the friends and family thing, but he'd do just about anything for Sam, so it shouldn't take too much convincing.

Zach has very strange feelings toward Snake... which mostly means he doesn't agree with his viewpoint at all, but he also respects him sticking with his boys. At the same time (I totally wrote "On the same hand" at first XD), he doesn't respect what he's doing to their minds and futures... but he also understands, in a way. It's all very confusing for him, and I think Snake makes him remember just a bit more than he'd care to. He'd be okay with confrontation if it arose, but he'd really rather avoid Snake as much as possible, I think. I definitely don't see them as the best of friends.

I like tension too, which you are (should be) well aware of. Zach would gladly march up to Mr. Murder Cop and tell him to shove off for being too rough with one of his boys. On the other hand, he'd also do what he could to help in situations where he didn't feel the kiddos were being wrongly used... or possibly even if he did, as an alternative. I think Jack could use him as a witness at times he knew anything useful, but I love that initial tension. They can argue over what's right and wrong and whatever else... I can just see Zach fuming now.
