Title: Hezbollah Leader Killed

xThereIsNoSpoonx90 - February 14, 2008 12:49 AM (GMT)
One of the most wanted terrorists in the world, Imad Mughniyeh, died in a car bombing last Friday. Mughniyeh was behind many deadly attacks in the 70s, 80s, and 90s. Hezbollah blames Israel for the attack. Do you believe Israel would use a car bombing? I don't. Hezbollah is only trying to use the death of one of their leaders in order to rally more people in their cause against Israel and further indoctrinate those in their control to hate our ally in the Middle East. Opinions, comments about the recent development?

Not to be a total skeptic, but what if it was the plan to say he died in this car bombing? If he was blown up enough, they wouldn't know for sure it was truly him...

Hey, if it really was him, yay! If he's one of the most wanted terrorists, he must have done some prettttty bad stuff. Death isn't exactly the best punishment, but it's infinitely better than having him still romping around the world.

Good news for the moment. But hopefully it would pump up the other guys he left behind.

But what do you think of Hezbollah accusing Israel?

DetectiveSnaz12 - February 14, 2008 02:49 AM (GMT)
Eh, I honestly don't know. Whether it was Israel or not.. they killed a terrorist :D

xThereIsNoSpoonx90 - February 14, 2008 03:16 AM (GMT)
Yeah, but the point is that he was killed by a car bomb. More or less, a terrorist attack. I don't see Israel doing that, but that's just me.

DetectiveSnaz12 - February 14, 2008 03:24 AM (GMT)
a terrorist got a terrorist.. thats mildly ironic

it probably wasn't israel. i'm not sure how much of a publicity stunt it will work out to be either. it does come off sort of desperate.

Raven821 - February 14, 2008 05:54 AM (GMT)
No way it was Israel. They're just trying to use the death to stir up more trouble.

narwhalfauxlife - February 29, 2008 02:33 AM (GMT)
pshhhhhhhhh i doubt israel DIDN'T do it. they already admitted to using cluster bombs in lebanon, and they don't have the greatest record of being definitive as to whether or not they were behind any assasination

the death of this guy isn't that great for anyone either. its going to piss people off, and there's always more of them to replace him.

OH, here it is! Let's sympathize with terrorist governments hiding behind women and children! Big bad Israel is bombing them! Please, we need to support Israel, they are our biggest ally against terrorism in the Middle East.

have you heard of the stuff we have tried doing in the past to kill castro? If we're willing to stoop so low, I'm sure others are too. Have you heard about the israel outpost stuff? They sound pretty nasty lol, I wouldn't put it past them. I don't think you can call desperate means being used to kill an infamous terrorist a terrorist attack.... lol
